“Miss Blossom, you have a visitor today.” Blossom was shocked when she heard her assistant tell her that she had a visitor. She pursed her lips and stood up. She wanted to open a business and hoped that she would attract others to purchase everything that she would sell for the market.
Her friend was right; why did she grab the opportunity to open a clothing brand? She told Leo about her plans, as Leo wanted to help her, which she didn't accept. She wanted to be more successful without his help, and she would let her parents see how successful she was.
“It's a man. I don't even know that you have a boyfriend.” Jane, her assistant, told her, which made her laugh too loudly. She cocked her head and smiled sweetly. She didn't know that Leo had other plans; she thought he was too busy with his company.
“Did he tell you what his name is? I have guy friends, so I want to know who it is.” Blossom checked herself before she went to the door. She glanced at Jane, who was busy thinking about who the man was.
“I don't even know him. But he's the cousin of one of the models, I think.” Blossom frowned when she heard the word ‘cousin,' which meant it was Storm. She felt disappointed because she thought that it was her husband. She missed him too much.
“Oh, it's Storm?” Blossom uttered. She told Jane about what she was going to do and went out to her office. She didn't understand what Storm was doing in her company. She didn't even tell him about her plans.
There were a few of her friends who knew about her plans, but she made sure that no one would spread about it as long as she didn't announce it. She tried to calm herself; she didn't want to think that Erin had told him about her plans.
Blossom went into the elevator and pressed the first floor. She crossed her arms, for she was thinking about how she would ask Storm about it without making him feel offended. The storm was her best friend. He might be annoyed that he didn't know about her plans.
After the elevator opened, Blossom went out into the elevator; she seductively walked towards the entrance. She saw Storm was patiently waiting for her. He was sitting on the chair while he was too busy watching something on his phone.
She gazed at the beautiful roses and sighed. She knew that Storm was always sweet to her, and she didn't need to put malice in their friendship.
“Storm!" She tried to smile when Storm glanced at her. She saw his usual playful smirk on his lips before he hugged her. She was used to how clingy he was whenever he was with her.
“I can't believe that it's true. I'm hurt you didn't tell me about your plan." The storm touched his chest, and he acted like he was hurt, which made Blossom giggle at him.
“I'm sorry if I didn't tell you about this. I wanted to surprise all of you after I finished everything.” Blossom wanted to know everything, but she wanted him to tell her everything. She knew how honest Storm was whenever he was with her.
“It's alright. You know that I don't get mad at you so quickly. Do you want to eat lunch with me? Well, I wanted to invite you because there's a lunch celebration with my family.” Storm hugged her right before he gave her the roses he had bought.
“I don't think that I will go with you. I'm too busy planning everything here.” Blossom didn't know how not to accept his invitation; after all, Storm was always beside her.
“Please, are you having a relationship with Uriel Fontaine? I don't even know you have an intimate relationship with me.” Blossom was shocked by his sudden question. Maybe, Storm went to her company to ask her about it.
Blossom chuckled when she noticed how Storm arched his brow at her. “I don't even know that you liked stalking me. Storm, you aren't like this! You don't even know how to use those social media apps.” Blossom couldn't stop herself from teasing him.
“Oh, please cut the crap! I wanted to know. That's why I'm asking. And, of course, I have my social media account. We followed each other, right?” Blossom nodded. She forgot about it since Storm wasn't too active on social media. She smirked at him when she saw how Storm flushed in embarrassment.
“Okay, I will act like I believe whatever you say. Seriously, it's too odd for me that you went here to ask me about that. You can call me if you want to know about it.” Blossom crossed her arms, and her forehead creased.
“I don't have a relationship with Uriel. Aside from that, he is my friend. He's Leo's cousin; did you forget that?”
Storm coughed and avoided his gaze at her. He smiled, which made his dimples exposed. “Okay, you answered my question as if I was one of those paparazzi. I don't even know that you have a vacation with him. I still remember that I asked you one time, but you told me that you were busy.”
Blossom chuckled when she noticed that Storm was sulking at her. She didn't remember that Storm asked her to have a vacation with him. Maybe, she was too busy to make Leo see that she existed then.
“Oh, I'm sorry, I don't even remember that you asked me to have a vacation with you.” Blossom felt terrible that she might have mistreated her best friend.
“It's alright because I wasn't in my right mind then. I told you to have a vacation after we learned that Erin had a relationship with your husband. I understand that you are hurt at that time.” Blossom was stunned when Storm mentioned his cousin's affair with Leo.
It's been weeks since she and Leo were saving for their marriage. And it's been weeks since she heard Erin's name again. She was uncomfortable because she thought that something terrible might happen. She felt that whenever she heard Erin's name, something might cause her to get hurt emotionally.
Erin is the natural pest in her life. She didn't know what she did to her in the past, which made her constantly torment her. She was a great disaster in their marriage, and she wanted to get rid of her.
Maybe she acted like she was confident, but she wasn't. Whenever Erin was around, she couldn't stop thinking she still had an affair with Leo.
“Hey, are you alright?” Storm asked. There's confusion on his face. She stepped back when Storm kissed her on the cheek. “Are you mad that I kiss you on the cheek? I'm sorry; I remember always doing that whenever you aren't okay.”
Blossom was guilty when she recalled that Storm was too used to kissing her whenever she was in bad shape. It's his way for how he comforted her, and she realized that maybe Storm thought that she was in the wrong form, that's why he kissed her on her cheek.
She lowered her head, and she tried to smile. “No! I'm sorry I was surprised that you kissed me on my cheek. I'm sad because I'm thinking about the warehouse.” Blossom quickly reasoned out.
Storm chuckled as he pulled her again. He smirked at her. “I don't even know that my best friend is a workaholic. You don't need to worry about your business because I know you will succeed. Don't forget me once you finally reach the top.” Storm kidded, which made Blossom pinch his skin. Storm groaned in pain, but his eyes sparkled.
“Okay, I don't want to forget about my invitation to you. My parents missed you, and they kept bothering me that you didn't even visit my house. I told them that you are busy with your matters.” Blossom nodded; she glanced at the beautiful roses that Storm gave her. Why does she feel terrible whenever she accepts a rose from him?
She noticed that Storm was acting indifferently. If she accepted his invitation, she didn't want him to assume she was giving him a chance to prove his love for her. She wasn't dumb to hint at his every move.
“Oh, Please. Are you still mad at me? I will leave this country for a month, so please, I want to eat with you. Aside from that, Erin would be with Leo at the lunch party. Didn't you want to see them?" Blossom felt his heart had broken into a million pieces when she heard that.
Leo told her he would avoid Erin, so she decided to give him a chance. She sighed; she needed to trust him. If she accepted Storm's invitation, what would happen if Leo wasn't there? Leo might think he had a relationship with Storm, so she needs to avoid the cause of their future problem.
“I'm sorry, Storm. I can't, I still have a lot of things that I need to do, and I don't think that Leo would be there because he told me he would avoid Erin to save our marriage. But, if you want, I can have a coffee with you; there's a nearby coffee shop here.” Blossom was trying her best not to sound rude.
Storm nodded and laughed. He messed her hair and kissed her on her cheek again. Blossom was trying to make her remember that it was a friendly kiss, nothing more.
“Fine, I'm happy to accept your invitation. But I don't understand why Leo told you he was avoiding Erin anymore. I saw him at Erin's house before I went here. Aside from that, it was Erin who told me about your business because Leo told her about it.” Storm's forehead creased and scratched his forehead as if he was confused.
“Are you telling me the truth? Leo is too busy handling his company. I don't think that he will go to Erin's house.” Blossom felt the bitterness in her tongue. She needed to trust Leo because that is how marriage would be successful.
“Blossom, maybe, I'm wrong, so don't think about what I told you, okay? Let's go to the coffee shop; you don't need to worry because I will message you once Leo is there." Blossom nodded. Storm was proper; she didn't need to worry about it since Storm would tell her once Leo was with Erim.
They went to the nearby coffee shop and talked about their childhood memories. Blossom ended up forgetting about what she found out. She enjoyed being with Storm, but she couldn't stop checking her phone. It's too odd that Leo didn't even call her, especially since it's lunchtime. He always made sure that he was eating at the right time.
When Storm decided to return home, Blossom returned to her company and felt different that Leo didn't even send her lunch. She sighed as she tried to calm herself about it. She needed to trust him; Leo promised to avoid Erin as soon as possible.
She decided to call him, but his phone was shut down. She tried to calm herself and cursed herself because she kept overthinking. She put her phone on the table and decided to check all the stocks she needed for her designs.
She glanced at her phone when it beeped. Her hands trembled because it was Storm's ringtone that he had assigned to him. She opened her phone, which she regretted in the end. She wished that she didn't look at it.
Storm was right. It's a photo of Leo with Erin. They're too sweet for each other; Erin was hugging Leo behind his back. She couldn't believe that she believed what Leo had promised her. She's too stupid to think that he wanted to save their marriage, but the truth was, he tried to use her body because of his right as her husband.
