Blossom smiled and giggled before she lay even more on the hospital bed. “It looks like we can't remove bad grass. I need to remove the roots so they will grow.”
“But grass can grow wherever they want. Blossom, I know that you are mad at Erin, and I know that you felt that she betrayed you. As your friend, I want to advise you that even though you take out the grass with its roots, the bad grass can still grow as long as you want to.”
“Why don't you spray something to prevent the grass from growing? That's what you need to do.” Brea murmured; she smirked and walked closer to Blossom.
“I can't believe you are helping me with my problems now. I thought you liked Erin as your friend.” Blossom shuddered; she was curious why Brea suddenly changed her mind. She was known to be protective when it came to Erin because they had been friends since they were children.
“I am a married woman, and I don't like that my friend will ruin someone's marriage. Of course, I understand because I don't want to experience that. I think that if my husband did that to me, I don't think that I would forgive him or even his mistress. Even when I die, I will rather not forgive them for the pain that they caused me.”
“I think that maybe it's too painful on your part since it is Leo, and we all know how you love him. Did you forgive him easily? I do think that you are wiser enough not fully to forgive him.” Brea added; she sat on the couch and raised her brow at Blossom.
She thinks that Blossom would torment Leo a lot, but it looks like her friend, Blossom, is secretly fucking her husband and enjoys everything while she is planning her revenge. She felt disappointed and happy at the same time. She wanted Blossom to have her justice, but the worst part was Blossom was a virgin when they last met, and now she's carrying Leo's child.
“I'm sorry to disappoint you. I didn't even know that Leo would end up fucking me, Brea.” Blossom sarcastically replied. She chuckled when she saw Brea's face turn sour and glanced at her surroundings.
“Yeah, you don't need to inform me because I am the one who checked on you a while ago. So, Is this a welcome gift for me?” Brea couldn't stop herself from asking. She knew Blossom wouldn't dare to look for her if it wasn't an emergency.
“I wanted you to look at your husband,” Blossom answered. She stood up and patted Brea's shoulder.
“What are you talking about? I don't understand what you are about to tell me, Blossom. You should be frankerous with me since I am like that whenever I am with you.”
“Your husband is cheating on you. About Leo? I don't think that he had an affair with Erin, but it is Erin who liked hanging out with him.”
“How can you say that? And you don't need to worry about my husband; I can handle him, and I will make sure he will regret cheating on me.”
“Well, that's what my source says. I want to make sure first; I want everything to be more perfect.” Blossom and Brea talked about many things since they hadn't met for a month, and they missed each other. When Blossom left the office, she couldn't see Leo, and she smirked because she already knew where Leo was.
It looks like someone told Erin that Leo was in the hospital, or maybe the media announced it because she saw the media was following them. Blossom entered the elevator and decided to fetch Leo in Erin's room. She crossed her arms and stared at her reflection.
All she thought two years ago was revenge against Erin and Leo. That was her inspiration, and she did everything to have her spotlight. She wants Leo to see that she is better than Erin. And Brea supported her doing that.
Blossom was mad, and the hatred that she felt at that time was the only feeling that she left in her heart. She thought she could have her revenge smoothly, but it looked like her heart had a different plan to sabotage her dreams.
All Blossom thought now was to remove Erin from her life because she was pregnant. She didn't like her child to experience having a broken family or to witness how she was trying to fight for Leo.
Blossom bit her lips to suppress herself from being emotional. She didn't like that she was crying for a little reason. She thought that she was the old Blossom that everyone knew whenever she was crying.
She did everything to remove the weak Blossom they all know and changed it to someone more substantial than her old self. She pursed her lips and tried to mask her genuine emotions. Why does she feel that whenever she exposes her true feelings, she always ends up miserable?
When the elevator reached the fifteenth floor, Blossom went out in the elevator. She was strolling and about to knock on Erin's room, but she could see that the door was open. It looks like Leo intentionally left the door open, so she might not think they were doing something illegal against her.
Blossom sighed, she was happy, but at the same time, she was nervous. She took a peek, and she saw that Erin was lying on the hospital bed while Leo was standing in front of her. Blossom could notice how distant Leo was, and it looked like Leo knew that Blossom would go to Erin's hospital room.
“Leo, you already changed. I thought we had a relationship after Blossom went out to the country. I thought you didn't love her, but why did you make her carry your child? She doesn't love you!” Erin yelled, and she gripped the blanket. When she discovered Leo was in the hospital, she didn't waste time meeting him. She made sure that Leo would go to her hospital room so Blossom could think something about them. She wanted Blossom to doubt him, but it looked like their marriage was still excellent and robust.
“Erin, I appreciate all of your efforts, but you know that I didn't want to be with you from the very start.” Leo coldly answered. He sighed as if he was having a hard time because of Erin.
“Are you for real? Are you toying with me or something? You see that I am here in this hospital, and now you are saying that to me as if I wouldn't get hurt because of your words.”
“I am sorry for making you feel that way. I don't want Blossom to think I am having an affair with you. Aside from that, we both knew about our positions in our lives.”
“Leo, please, did you forget that I sacrificed everything for you? What about me? You promised me that you would marry me.” Erin started sobbing, and Blossom could hear everything. Marry? Blossom didn't know that Leo had promised Erin a wedding, and she was in a fury. She couldn't believe that Leo had dared to promise his mistress a marriage!
“I did everything for you. Is this your revenge on me because I turned down your offer?”
“What are you talking about, Erin? Seriously, I don't understand you anymore.”
“You don't understand me because all you think is Blossom. What about me? You are acting like you will throw me in the trash after what I did for you. Leo, you know that I am the one who will marry you.”
Blossom was stunned because of what she found out. She didn't even know that Erin would marry Leo, and Erin didn't even tell her about it. Erin used to tell them everything about her life, or even about her man, but she secretly hid about Leo.
What she didn't understand was that Erin knew everything about what she truly felt for Leo, and now she found out that Erin secretly knew Leo, and she didn't even dare to tell her about it.
“You got everything wrong, Erin. I didn't know how you concluded everything in that way. Okay, and I know you know why I am with you when you ask me to be your friend.”
“No! That's not true. Leo, do you want me to die like her? I was with you before you got married, right? I am the one you chose to be your wife, but why did you accept your upcoming marriage with Blossom? I know that you didn't love Blossom because all you loved was—”
“Shut up, Erin. You don't know everything, so you should shut your mouth. Stop mentioning her because you know why–”
“Keep your promise, Leo. Do you want me to die too because of you?” Erin gnashed her teeth, and when Leo didn't want to make his promises anymore. She clenched the sheets out of anger. She was so mad, hoping that Blossom would be here so she could slap her face.
Blossom felt her heart clench, and she couldn't breathe normally. She wanted to ask, but it looked like Leo didn't want her to know the truth because Leo kept stopping Erin from exposing everything.
Her? Who is it? Does it mean that Erin knew who Leo loved too much? Is it her friend or relatives?
“Leo Fontaine didn't like breaking promises. Did you remember that?” Erin mockingly repeated what Leo had told her. Leo was stunned, and he didn't even know how he should react.
Blossom walked out of the room before she turned around, so Leo and Erin might think that she was about to come to Erin's room. She made sure that the sound of her heels could hear, so when she opened the door, the tension quickly went out.
“Oh, Erin.” Blossom forced a smile, but she made sure that her smile was full of pride. She glimpsed Leo, who was too calm than what she saw in him. Leo moved and went closer to her. “I am here to fetch my husband,” Blossom added.
“I didn't know that you were here in this hospital. If I know you are here, I might buy chrysanthemums and carnations for you.” Blossom sarcastically stated, and she smiled. She even hugged Leo in front of Erin, which made Erin give her a murderous glare because of her jealousy.
“Blossom! Maybe, you are happy now that I am here in this hospital. I don't understand what you are doing here. Are you a patient here?” Erin angrily asked; she even gazed at Leo as if she was asking Leo to help her.
“I am one of the patients here. Leo rushed me into this hospital because he feared our baby might be in danger. He didn't even know you were here in this hospital. It would help if you were thankful because of me. I cared about you a lot.”
“Shut up; I know you intentionally go here to torment me,” Erin smirked. “Leo, did you choose her over me? Did you see what his true colors are? Blossom is always like this, and are you sure you want her to carry your child? She's too different from her.”
“Shut up, Erin. Stop talking to my wife that way. We will go now.” Leo coldly took Blossom's hand, but his jaw was tensed. It looked like Erin's words had a significant effect on his system.
Blossom felt someone smack her heart. She could see how Erin gave her a triumphant grin.
“Leo! Stop pulling me!” Blossom smacked Leo's hand when she felt Leo gripping her hand tighter. It looks like Leo was too mad about something she didn't even know. Does Leo was angry because she belittles Erin in front of him?
“Why did you need to go here? I know that you intentionally go here. You acted that you are in pain even though it's not.”
