You extricate yourself from the pile of chitin fragments and viscous liquid you've created around yourself with the insect corpses. Resuming your progress through the gallery, you arrive at a perfectly round cavern. In the center stands a strange creature, glaring at you furiously.
Its insect body is quite similar to those you've encountered before, but with an abdomen so massive that the creature likely struggles to move. The upper part of its body is strangely humanoid and feminine, though protected by thick chitinous skin. The face itself, aside from its eight eyes and other insectoid features, is very expressive. Snapping its small mandibles in an aggressive gesture, the creature abruptly extends its abdomen, the tip of which delicately deposits an egg on the ground. The egg immediately breaks open, releasing a creature that rapidly swells into a grotesque caricature of the arachnean soldier you faced earlier.
You face the QUEEN and (for now) 2 MINUTE-SOLDIERS
