The mercenary explains that he had already participated in four expeditions there. The first ended in dark underground caverns, where they were attacked by hordes of albino goblins. The few survivors of the fight were devoured alive by man-eating ants, and he was the only one left. On the fourth expedition, they managed to clear several caves before being ambushed by monsters serving the dragon. He was the sole survivor.
