I AM WEARING shorts and a spaghetti strap top while looking at my window. I can see the plaza and saw a lot of vendors hanging around. They sell fishballs, ice cream, tidbits, bread, and more. While mama’s bubble tea shop is open twenty-four hours because there is a shifting vendor.
I open wide the window to see the plaza and people there. I just want to see what more can I see because I am planning to go down. When I finished looking I decided to stay away from the window but did not close the curtain. I open the music and dance seductively. After all, no one can see me here.
I dance and dance. I am comfortable to give everything I can. I grind, twerk and did everything until I get tired. I almost out breath when I close the music and lay down on the bed. I smile while chasing my breath. I feel relax and happy because of what I did.
After I calm down I thinking of going to the plaza to hang out for a while so I immediately got dressed. I am planning to buy street food. I want to relax myself. I wear a simple dress to still be comfortable because the weather was hot. I am thinking to take Janel with me, but when I saw her downstairs I saw how busy she is. I noticed a lot of papers spreading in the floor so I decided not to bother her. She is very dedicated to her studies and even if I force her for sure she will not stand up.
I am near the tempura shop when I saw a commotion in the side of fishballs stool, and people ran away. I even met some of them who were obviously scared. I looked at the store and saw the asshole holding the salesman by the collar and aimed at the knife. I could also see the fear and nervousness on the poor salesman's face. He looks pitiful and helpless. You can also see in his eyes hows scare he is.
I am surprised at what I saw because I didn’t expect it. I can't believe he's such a savage and even a poor salesman who makes a living, he will hurt like that. The salesman was a bit old but he still managed to hurt and had no opponent. He's really a hot-headed, a war freak, it's a good thing he didn't do that to me before. I don't know what will gonna happen to me if he made that to me.
He looked at the place where I stand and when he saw me he pushed the salesman away. He looked at me badly, gritting his teeth. His eyes is full of anger but later he calm down. He cocked his head to his friend.
"Let's go," he called to them. Inviting them to leave so everyone follow him.
"Don't repeat what you did!" one of his companions also shouted at the salesman. The poor salesman nod and no one help him. He did nothing to defend himself. Everyone doesn't bother to help also, maybe because they are afraid. Who will not? If they are a lot, and all has big body.
They passed in front of me, and when he pass me he stopped and looked at me. My knees were shaking because I thought he might do something bad to me but I didn't let him know. I met his gaze and forced myself to steady. I did not show him that I am a little bit scared.
"I will guess what you're thinking, that we're bad because of what we did to the salesman." I looked at him badly and didn’t did let him know that I am nervous. I wanted to answer but I chose to remain silent because he might heap his anger on me. Also, what he said was true. They were bad in my eyes because I saw them doing that to the old man. "Judgmental," he added then called out to his comrades and left.
I see them walking away as if nothing had happened. It is as if they did not do anything to hurt other people. Mostly, it is an old man. I lost my interest to go buy something because of what I witnessed. So I chose to just go back and go straight to mama’s shop. Better I will stay there and have fun.
But unfortunately, the animal with his comrade is there also drinking bubble tea. The assholes were laughing while one was still slapping on the table. The other is bubbling almost mouth because of too much laugh. They were fine after they scared the old man as if they just didn't do anything. Then here they are and maybe planning to make trouble again.
Did they intimidate our staff?
Suddenly, the arrogant person turned to me and when he saw me, he immediately grabbed the money and handed it to his companion.
"Pay it now, Clark, before someone will accuse us that we came to make trouble," he said to his companion while looking at me. "Tell the cashier to keep the change." His companion take the money immediately went to the counter. He even give it to while smiling and seems he's flirting to our staff. The arrogant still doesn't take his eyes off me so I stare at him too. Not someone like him would scare me.
When his companion returned, he just sipped a little of his drink and laid it on the table, and immediately stood up.
"Let's go and it's almost night." He walked ahead and his companions immediately followed him while laughing. He passed in front of me and stopped for a moment. He looked at me from head to toe but also left immediately while his friends were still following him.
I’m not affected by him because I don’t care about him. He cant scare me. He's nothing but an arrogant man who did nothing but scares people. He can't scare me by the way he looks.
