Alpha Jason Rogue Luna Chapter 15

Megan's POV

When I woke up on a soft, warm cloud as opposed to the chilly walls and floor I was accustomed to, I was completely baffled. I had the most restful sleep in months. I slept through the dawn. When I noticed Alpha's musty odor in my room, I panicked. Although I was terrified that he was in my room with me asleep and unable to defend myself, his aroma made me feel better. I disliked it yet also loved it in my heart.

When he could have, he chose not to take advantage of me. He had done nothing except make me more comfortable although I was defenseless and in a precarious situation. It made me nervous. There was no justification for an Alpha to show such generosity, not even to his mate. Alpha guys are cold-hearted, merciless, and just testosterone-filled time bombs waiting to explode and assert their supremacy.

At that point, I decided to spend the whole day in my room. I overheard Alpha indicate that he would spend most of the day in a meeting with the nearby alpha. I would finally be able to accomplish my goals without a menacing guy always watching over my shoulder.

Once I realized I was alone and secure, I was able to relax. I finally had a chance to unwind and let down my guard, so I decided to take a shower. I awakened by letting the cool water stream down my head and back. Why should I be permitted to take a warm shower here when I wasn't allowed to at home? Alpha informed me that even taking a shower was a waste of money and water, yet he let me take a cold shower. Since I had already been in there for about five minutes, I hurriedly cleaned myself to avoid getting in trouble for using so much water.

When I got dressed and came out of the bathroom, I didn't realize the bed had a sizable hump on it. Although the item was concealed by the covers, I was certain it wasn't a pair of pillows. Simply said, the cushions were excessively tiny, flat, and immobile.

I moved cautiously toward the side of the bed that was next to the bump. Whatever it was, I could hear its heart racing and its breathing. I sniffed with interest and detected the scent of honey and other sweet-smelling items. I swiftly grabbed the blankets and ripped them off the thing out of confusion. The room was filled with a child's joyous chuckles and a jubilant shriek. A little girl with red hair was curled up on the bed and was shrieking and laughing.

"You located me," She laughed and turned to face me. Her happy countenance quickly gave way to uncertainty, echoing mine.

You may call me Emmaline, but I prefer Emma. You are who?" Although she had a child's voice, it was still capable of a higher tone.

"Megan," I whispered back. "What brings you here?" So that she wouldn't think I was upset, I made sure to speak in a light tone. Then, her eyes gleamed and her face shone.

"Hiding!" She yelled once more before immediately getting up from the bed. Do you want to hide with me? Instantly, worry and fear flooded my heart.

Do we face an attack?

Did they eventually locate me once more?

Are they coming to get me?

When the door was suddenly opened, I was going to ask her why she was hiding.

Saying, "There you are!" Emma yelled and delighted once again when the brunette entered the room and grabbed her up. Then Blaire turned to face me and flushed.

I'm very sorry. I was unaware that she would enter this space. She quickly left and turned to face the ground.

"No worries. There was no harm. I took a little moment to reflect. What was she avoiding? She gave me a bewildered look in the mirror.

"Me. We were having a hide-and-seek game. "Hide and seek"?

"Stop by! Let's have some more fun. In Blaire's arms, Emma made an announcing noise and was agitated to get down. After setting her down, Blaire grasped her hand.

"Why don't we play downstairs? We don't annoy anybody as a result. Blaire was being pulled out of the door by Emma when she shook her head in agreement. Emma then paused.

"Can Meg get up? She inquired while pointing at me. I returned her questioning gaze as she gave it to me. "Please?" Emma questioned with a pout and beseeching emerald eyes. I reluctantly nodded my head since I couldn't turn down that face.

Jackson was rummaging through a box of what seemed to be thin, plastic boxes Jackson sat on the floor in the living room as I followed the group down the stairs. Emma broke free from Blaire and ran over to where he was sitting.

"Jackson?" She enthusiastically enquired. Jackson looked into the box while nodding his head and returning a smile. Blaire sat down on the sofa after giving a little grin and shaking her head. He took one of the rectangular boxes out, lifted it, and displayed a victorious expression. He opened it up to expose a shiny silver disc, which he then inserted into a TV-connected gadget. a film. I could recall. They watch this every time she is here. "I haven't seen a movie in a long time. I looked away from the TV to Blaire when she spoke to me."Jack's moniker was given in this manner. He grew up loving the movie. Also, Emma believes it's simply because he's being kind since he can't seem to say no to her.

The title appeared, and I turned to face the television once again. What is "Jack the Friendly Ghost"? I've never heard of it, much less seen it. Emma was contentedly seated on Jackson's lap as he sat with his back reclining on the sofa underneath Blaire. The white ghost singing on the TV caught their both ardent gazes.

Are you ready to sit down? With a pat next to her, Blaire questioned me. The whole other sofa side was vacant. To avoid having to walk in front of the TV, I went around the sofa and sat down on the other side.

I returned my gaze to Emma. How can she be so relaxed with two possibly harmful creatures present in the same space? particularly when she is perched on Beta's lap.

While the other two watched the juvenile film, Blaire and I had a brief talk. We engaged in sporadic conversation. Things we like, disapprove of, etc. I became more at ease with them as we conversed. We spoke until the song "Jack the Friendly Ghost," which was playing while a list of names scrolled down the TV, began being sung by Jackson and Emma.

I knew they had done nothing wrong at that very time. They have only shown kindness. I felt at ease with them. Though not entirely secure, I felt more comfortable with them.
