Alpha Jason Rogue Luna Chapter 79

Megan's POV

What was envisaged was quite different from what really took place, which was a big difference. I was under the impression that I had sufficiently prepared myself for this and that it wouldn't be an overly trying experience. I was able to comfort myself that everything would be OK when Jason repeated himself and stated the same thing. It was far worse than I had expected to be the case.

Yesterday's task wasn't all that difficult. It was at twelve o'clock midnight when he left, marking the beginning of their three-day separation. I was able to push the feelings of isolation and helplessness that I felt in my heart to the back of my mind with relative ease. I am sorry to say that I am unable to repeat that comment today.

It was a level of discomfort that went beyond that. I could feel my soul being torn apart by the physical gap that separated us. In spite of the fact that it seemed as if a chasm was forming between us, the two portions were forcefully clashing in order to prevent us from being split apart. My desire for him was stronger than it had ever been before. I was unaware of the degree to which we were linked or of the extent to which I actually sought and needed his companionship.

Because I could not keep any liquids down, I was unable to eat because of my condition. It was hard for me to even move, much less shift since the cramping in my stomach and muscles occurred continuously. I was able to channel all of my attention into focusing on him. What he might be up to right now if things were in a more favorable position.

As I sat on the toilet lid and held my stomach while muttering, "I don't know how people manage this," I thought to myself. Despite having the sense that I was sick, I knew that I wasn't. The herbal tea that his mother made had no impact on the symptoms at all.

"Because of this, in order for the women to relax, they take baths with scented oils. Women are more likely to recognize the warning signals of relationship strain than men are. Kai made a comment as she was getting into the tub. After seeing that the steam was beginning to obscure the mirror, she decided it was time to apply the fragrances.

Why is that, though? I murmured something while pressing my sweaty forehead against the porcelain sink, even though I knew it would only provide me with momentary respite.

Another vial was added to the bath as Kai cautioned, "It may not sound as lovely as you would want it to."In our society and within our species, it is common for females to depend on males. During the time that he is absent from the ceremony, the relationship both strengthens and weakens, which leaves the females more vulnerable. Due to the fact that it is weaker, sickness is more likely to strike females.

On the other hand, I don't feel nauseous. I let out a sigh and then sat up. We maintain our good health.

Following that logic, the connection indicates that you are. She walked out of the room with a dismissive wave of her hand.

In addition, once you see the attire, you will immediately cease your complaining and fussing about it.

I commented as I stood up from my makeshift perch on the lid of the toilet and said, "I don't care how the dress looks." While I was taking off my clothes, she turned her back to give me some privacy.

"The question of whether or not he will live is my primary worry. Goddess is well aware that he will, at some point, find himself in a precarious situation. "Probably." When she turned around and saw the worried look on my face, she immediately had second thoughts about her remark.

kidding, joking, yes, I am. It won't be a problem for him. In addition to this, if he sustains an injury, you will be the first to hear about it. She grabbed hold of my hand and made an attempt to ease the tension that was already there in my body.

"I simply cannot help but be concerned." I groaned in pain as I sunk even farther down into the water.

"You're right. When the appropriate moment comes, I will most likely act in the same manner as Cole. She quickly glanced down at the watch that was on her wrist, and as she did so, her eyes widened in surprise.

"Isn't it getting late already?" you could ask.

"Yeah." She made a bow. "I haven't been paying as much attention as I ought to have been," the speaker confessed.

"You are free to go if you have somewhere else to be. I don't want to put you in this predicament any longer, "No, don't worry about that. I was going to offer to stop over and have a look at the ensemble, but I think you need my assistance more.

Since you've been here with me for the last two days, that's complete nonsense. You've probably had enough of hearing me complain by this point. Let's get some slumber, shall we? In addition to that, I am aware that Cole has been thinking about you a lot. I smiled at her and made a light conversation with her.

Are you sure about that? She expressed her question with some trepidation, but it was obvious that she was ready to travel.

I reassured her that she should go rest, of course. I should be OK. She came up behind me and gave me a gentle hug while taking precautions to prevent herself from becoming too wet.

Thank you so much, and if there is anything that I can do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me, and I will be right there. She said as she turned her back on the entrance to face the door.

I shouted back at her, "No promises," in reaction to what she said.

I lowered myself once again and focused my attention only on the calming effect of the water. The warm and beautiful scent of vanilla helped me feel even more relaxed, which in turn helped me quiet my racing thoughts. At first, the excruciating pains were alleviated, but after some time had passed, they gradually reappeared. The appearance of wrinkles on my skin was the first clue that it was time for me to go since they were a direct effect of how long I had been sitting there.

Before I left the toilet, I didn't even bother to give my hair a quick comb-over since my muscles were so fatigued that I couldn't even be bothered. Because I was going to be bathed and pampered like a princess the next day for the wedding, there was really no use in using the small bit of energy that I had. Since I couldn't even be bothered to get dressed, I just put on a pair of Jason's pants and one of his shirts and called it good.

I fell to the floor at the foot of the bed after stumbling my way from the closet to the bedroom. Even though I was starting to feel weary, I already knew that there was no chance that I would be able to sleep. Because of my nervousness and excitement for the next day, I was unable to even fall asleep. As I reached out with one arm in search of a cushion, my fingers snagged a hold of something that was both icy and solid. I was having trouble sitting up, so I put the thing on my lap before attempting to mount the headboard.

Hello, my sweetheart. Please try not to miss me too much while I'm gone. I have high hopes that you will like it!

Love, A. Jason

The statement was written on a Post-it note that had a yellow color that was rather bright. Since I had been finding them all throughout the house, I can only assume that Jason had already arranged for this with Kai before he left. The item in question was a large book that was placed on my lap and bound in light brown leather. When I flipped the page, there was a picture of Janina cradling what seemed to be a younger version of Jason. I believe it was Jason.

As I turned the pages of the book, he became older, and the smile on my face got greater. I couldn't help but giggle when I saw the picture of him beaming broadly while exposing the gaping hole in his smile. As he grew from a small child into a late teenager and started to handle the Alpha training and other responsibilities, the number of images that were taken of him gradually decreased. When I turned the page to the very last one, I was taken aback.

It was a picture of both of us beaming at each other with a smile. As Jason looked up at me, I gave off the impression that I was laughing in the midst of his grin. As we continued to look at one another in silence, the expression of fascination on both of our faces was mirrored in our eyes. I was clueless as to when or who had stolen it, but I was certain that I cherished it very much.

I sat down next to it and continued to watch it while making an effort to pay attention to every detail. As I felt my eyes go lower, my attention on the picture became cloudy and blurry, and I found it difficult to concentrate. As I allowed myself to go further into sleep, I noticed that my limbs were heavier and that I sunk more into the mattress.

The abrupt contraction in my gut made it difficult for me to breathe thereby taking away my ability to speak. Even though I hadn't been physically touched in any way, I felt as if someone had punched me in the stomach. Before a second one had me crouch down and grab my waist, I was under the impression that I had invented the story. At first, I thought the cramping was getting worse, but as I felt a stabbing pain go down my back, I understood that something wasn't quite right.

When I finally made it outside the door, I sprang out of bed without even hesitating to see which way I was going before continuing on my way. I was running barefoot through the forest as I made rapid progress toward my goal.

After screaming and pounding furiously on the door in a frantic attempt to get someone's attention, I couldn't believe how quickly they opened it.

"Dear? What exactly is it? What exactly is wrong? Janina questioned me as she led me into her house as I was being escorted by her.

"I-I'm sorry if I roused you from your sleep. The last thing on my mind was to do that. "Oh, no, Sweetie." She hushed me as she draped a shawl over my shoulders and whispered.

"We would be delighted to have you stop by at any time. In addition, I had already awakened and was in the process of putting the finishing touches on my wardrobe. "What's the matter at this point? Jason J." I let out a scream and rushed to hug her.

He suffers an injury. I was aware of it. He is in need of aid, but I am unable to locate him at this time. I sobbed and clung to her while I wailed.

As she encircled me even more securely and massaged my back, she softly started to whisper, "Sweetie." He is doing well. He had just arrived at the destination he had been looking for.

However, what if he isn't feeling well? What if it turns out that he is in actual danger? As I wiped my tears away and asked the inquiry, she began to walk away.

After that, we are going to hope for the best and stay up a bit later. If it turns out that he needs help, we will get in contact with him, and then we will figure out what to do next.

I pulled her into another quick hug and said, "T-thank you, Mom." as we parted ways.

It is not a problem at all. Take some cookies, and while you help yourself to some, I'll go ahead and warm up some milk. I'll be right back.
