Axel didn't know what to say and began to show signs of growing worry.
"What happened to you?"
Axel was concerned since his lady-in-waiting had informed him that she needed to be alone because Sophia wasn't feeling well.
Axel was very aware of the fact that he had been rather harsh earlier in their conversation.
This made him worry even more that his harsh words would cause her emotional pain.
Sophie turned her attention to Axel, who was still standing and appeared to be experiencing some kind of emotion.
As Sophie drew a sword and placed it on top of Axel's neck, her hands began to shake, and she found herself at a loss for words. Axel was worried about what she did, but he stood still in the same place the whole time.
As soon as the blade made even the slightest contact with the skin on his neck, he started to bleed.
Sophie didn't give it a second thought when she caught one of them with their sword, which appeared to be made of metal even though their skin was incredibly delicate.
She was disoriented. She only wants Shara back in her life.
The only sound in the room was the sound of the wind blowing through the window that she had just gone through.
Axel remained still the entire time, even though there was a disturbance at his gate that could be heard up above.
Axel had already sensed his approach when Hugo hurriedly appeared at the door after a minute had passed.
The following minute, "My Lord, is that Sophie there?"
"It appeared as though the royal guards were going to question her about something."
Sophie had the sword in the palm of one of her hands.
"I don't care if I die today because of what I did because I want to know," she said. "I want to know."
"In which part of the city did you drop off my sister while I was separated from her?"
The expression on Sophie's face showed that she was courageous, yet the trembling of her hands and body indicated the contrary.
Axel gazed at her as he tried to recall what had happened, but he did give orders to his men to make sure the youngster was delivered unharmed.
"If you believe me, I have no idea," Axel said while removing the silver sword from its position on the left side of his neck, which he did by holding it in his hand.
But don't worry; I'll find her for you, even if it means searching through the clouds." Axel replied in a collected tone that she was at a loss for words.
As for Sophie, who stumbled off the ground with tears in her eyes, Hugo ran crashing through the door, and he saw everything that had taken place.
Hugo saw that blood went from Axel's neck and hand, and he also saw that Sophie was holding the blade.
Hugo had the intention of acting on his feelings, but he ultimately opted against it to show his allegiance to Axel.
He yelled at the top of his lungs, "Get her out of here!" as his whole body started to shake.
The guys entered the room, and as they roughly grabbed Sophie, Axel became unresponsive.
However, as he glanced at the girl who was being pulled, he realized that she appeared as though all of her life had been sucked out of her.
"Did she hurt you?" Hugo asked.
Axel, however, didn't pay attention and looked at the girl as she was being carried out of his room.
"Call the healer!" Hugo yelled at the maid, who responded immediately to his instructions after hearing them.
Axel was so bewildered that he was oblivious to the throbbing pain that his wounds were causing him. Hugo was so busy tending to his wounds, but as soon as Axel heard the men cheering when they put Sophie in the cage, Axel unknowingly threw himself out the window facing the moonlight.
Before he hit the ground, his bone cracked with the sensation of his growing body, which was providing black fur and claws were beginning to appear.
Hugo was so preoccupied with tending to Axel's wounds that Axel threw himself out the window facing the moonlight. When Axel transforms into his wolf form, he resembles a wolf that is twice as large as any of his other forms, and when he closes his eyes, the men who have witnessed his transformation begin to shake.
Axel's eyes began to turn a brighter shade of red, and he started to run in Sophie's direction.
He then jumped higher to get his heavy claw on Sophie's speeding carriage.
One swing was all it took for the wooden cage to start cracking down the middle.
Sophie, who had just landed, was observing the large werewolf that was standing in front of her.
Axel turned his head to gaze at Terrance, who had been knocked to the ground by the blow.
He became aware of a large figure moving closer to him, and as soon as he saw those red eyes looking at him, he quickly lowered his head in respect.
"Your highness!" Terrance's entire body was shaking.
"I'll get back to you after this."
When Axel fixed his gaze upon Terrance, Terrance had a feeling that was both icy and menacing.
Sophie was staring at them, and she couldn't believe what she was seeing for herself.
She had seen many wolves in her life, but this werewolf was by far the largest one she had ever seen.
When it turned its attention to her, the black wolf caused her to tremble and fall to her knees.
She shut her eyes as the wolf got closer to her, but when she felt a tug on her clothing, she opened them again.
The wolf had gotten rather close to her.
The space between their faces that they shared startled her, causing her to jump.
The wolf that was in front of her then made a motion as if he wanted her to climb onto his back.
Sophie felt uncertain, but she had the little option because the men who surrounded her were about to lead her in the direction they wanted, which was to have her head displayed in their living room.
"Is he the same person who rescued me in the past?" She questioned herself about it.
And as Sophie leaned into the creature's back, the wolf fled quickly, and she couldn't help but grab hold of his gorgeous fur as he ran. The moonlight shone off of every strand of his fur as he ran, causing a wave of light that she was unprepared for.
Sophie was perplexed, to say the least, as she listened to the howling of the wolf while everyone else who was looking for the monster remained in their position.
Each one of them was making an attempt to attack them, but before they could do so, Axel had already sent them a signal through his mind.
Sophie didn't do anything other than close her eyes to keep from falling asleep, even though the fur touching her skin was so soft and smelled so good.
Sophie had the sensation that she was so close to the moon that she could touch it when the creature sprang as high as it could as the wolf approached the gate, but the guards did not respond when the wolf reached the entrance.
Right at that moment, Sophie had the dawning realization of what the wolf was up to.
The woman then went through the window, and the wolf immediately went after her.
The force of the contact caused the pane to shatter, and as it did so, the wolf's body began to return to its human form.
Sophie could not help but stare at it, eager to find out who it was.
The image of a naked man suddenly appeared before her.
Sophie's brow furrows in disbelief at what she has just seen, and her eyes grow wide.
"Axel!"
