Terance bowed and Axel walked toward the cape's direction but was blocked by a woman who was praising her and lost sight of the girl who seemed familiar to him.
But as he saw it again, he no longer hesitated to hold it on his shoulder and asked, "What are you doing here?"
"Do you think you can escape that easily?"
Axel was smiling with his thick cape that was wrapped around his muscular body.
Just then, the man fell to the floor.
"What did I do, your grace? Please don't kill me! "
Axel's happy face vanished and was replaced by shame; "I'm sorry, kind Sir."
"I must have mistaken you for someone else."
The man was crying on his knees as he couldn't take what the Alpha personally said to him.
Within their borders, Axel was treated as a king, and he was highly respected for being a good and accommodating one.
Especially now, even though he had just attended a ceremony in which he was tied to the new Luna, he still had time to hear from his people.
"Thank you so much for being so kind to me." The man named Elazar said
Axel was still confused, and he asked, "Did you see another cape like this?" a red one but more like a dark red?"
Elazar thought as his hand was placed on his chin and said, "I think I saw one coming down from that alley."
Axel didn't thank the man and went on his way to the alley.
The man had pointed him there and was down in the alley.
He knew that he had nothing to gain from what he was doing, but he was eventually relaying in his gut that that red-hooded man was somehow related to him.
Sophie stopped on the narrow path in front of the door with a little lampshade beside it.
She was feeling a little excited as she was about to see her sister after a long time of not being together.
She knocked three times, but no one opened the door.
She decided to knock again, this time with much more pressure in case they didn't hear it, but as for Sophie's knock, it was surely impossible for them not to hear it.
It was like someone was banging on the door harshly.
Sophie smiled as she thought of her Aunt Shara's warning to not open the door when she was not with them, so she decided to knock in a way that her sister would feel its vibration through the door.
She was still confused as to the door as they didn't open it again, but she tried harder as she felt that something was wrong.
She halted.
Axel was at the end of the alley when he saw someone standing in front of the door with a red cape on it, ready to enter the door.
"Stop!" Axel shouted with full authority.
As the man with a hood stopped as he was ordered, Axel aggressively removed the hood when he reached where the man was standing, and he was dumbfounded.
"What is it you want to do with me, my Lord?"
"Seriously, how many of you owe a red cape?"
Axel's eyes twitched as he mistook another man for another.
Axel massaged his head, and then the man in front of him was trembling.
Axel just looked at him and himself in disbelief at what he had done and laughed.
The man laughed at him as well, less awkwardly, and then Axel just looked at him.
His gaze went down, and Axel left the ally.
"What are you doing here?"
"Auntie Grace!" Sophie said as she stopped what she was doing.
As Grace looked around, she pulled Sophie inside and was pretty worried.
"Mud again?" Grace asked as Sophie removed her coat, "Where is Shara?"
"I'll fetch her for you, but are you alright?"
"I thought you were arrested," Grace asked.
Sophie just looked at the house. How she missed the fragrance of her aunt's cooking and the display filled with books and enchantments, potions, and witchcraft.
"I'm fine."
Sophie stopped as Grace hugged her so tight that she was embarrassed because the mud on her body was still wet enough to transfer to Grace's body.
"Okay... I better see Shara or else they will arrest me here." Sophie said, walking away, "I don't want you to witness that." She added
"O-of course," Grace said
And Sophie was so confused about why her auntie was acting like that, but she just shrugged her shoulders when she passed Shara's room, she didn't knock and just opened the door, but she was surprised when it was empty.
She didn't check where her sister might be hiding because she could never sense a single person living inside the room, and she sensed someone was approaching.
She hurriedly closed the door without making a sound and pretended to be walking inside the bathroom door that was in front of Shara's room.
"Sophie, you should stay for dinner. I'm cooking your favorite dish." Grace said, and her eyes were twitching.
Sophie just smiled as she held her cape tight, "Sure." I would love to, and please fetch Shara."
"She shouldn't stay outside too much."
Grace simply turned her back on Sophie and continued down the stairs, pausing to hear if Sophie had closed the bathroom door, which Sophie pretended to open and close even though she was still outside.
Just then, Grace decided to move and hold the phone, "I have her in my hands."
"When are you arriving?"
"Tonight?"
"Please don't hurt Shara."
Sophie was stunned and held the cape hard. "Where is Shara?" She thought Shara was already here.
Sophie again jumped out of the window, and this time she was caught by the one who called her Auntie.
"Hey, stop there."
The man threw arrows in the air, and Sophie held her cape and blocked the arrows' way, but some of them made it through and made a deep cut on her face, making it bleed.
She ran to the roof of the house where she was making it to the forest.
She was being followed and when she reached the border, with a split second and her fast reflexes, she escaped.
Axel was standing outside his room when heavy air entered.
As soon as he turned, he faced Sophie with blood on her face.
Her eyes were shining, and that's when Axel confirmed that she was the one he saw at the market.
"You—"
Axel's words were cut short when he saw a grin on Sophie's face and she spoke
"What did you do to my sister?"
"Where is she?"
