Morning came and it was just like the other days.
I woke up and did not find my parents in the sale.
“They have not come back yet?”
I pulled my phone and tried to scroll to see any message coming from them but was only disappointed to see an empty inbox.
Tsh, they are so busy taking care of other people, but what about me?
As I was entering our University I noticed everyone staring at me like I became a criminal overnight.
I looked at my body to check if something is stuck on my clothes but I did not find anything unusual.
Then why would they look at me like that?
After entering our classroom I was not surprised that they are already gossiping about me.
But why does it feel like it is not the same as their previous stares?
Aish, I do not know I could not explain that eerie feeling I am experiencing right now.
“Pssst Cassine,” I whispered after arriving at my seat.
It seemed like she did not notice me enter as she was so busy looking at her phone.
“Myrtle you are here.”
“What is wrong with you? And do you know why our schoolmates are staring at me like that today? I just feel...”
“You have not seen it?” I was interrupted after Cassine suddenly showed me the phone off her screen in front of me.
“What is that?” I asked while focusing my attention on her phone.
My jaws instantly dropped as soon as I realized what it is!
It was an anonymous post on our University website with a photo of me and Ash yesterday!
“The caption and comments are obviously attacking you! We should report this to the admin,” Cassine angrily advised while scrolling on the post’s comments.
Not a single one of them is happy about the photo, and everyone is giving me death threats.
“Are you looking for Ash?” She asked after noticing me look around the classroom.
“I just...”
“I heard the queen summoned him to the palace today.”
“H-huh? Why?”
Cassine shrugged as a response, “I do not know. It seems to be an emergency since they did not want him to delay his return any longer.”
I had no time to ask her again after our instructor entered and began the class right away.
“Are you really not going to the cafeteria?” Cassine asked but I shook my head.
“I would rather stay here than getting mocked outside,” I replied with a smile.
“Hmmm, okay I will bring you a snack later.”
“No need. Besides, I am not that hungry,” I immediately said but not long after my stomach suddenly growled.
Cassine giggled as she stared at me caressing my stomach. “I understand. You just wait here for me and I will bring you food. Let us eat here together.”
After she left I switched my gaze and looked at my stomach.
“Are you hungry baby? I am sorry that mommy was not able to take good care of you.”
A few more minutes passed and the classroom was getting filled with my classmates. Cassine however still hasn’t returned so I decided to look for her.
Normally, she should have already returned this time. I wonder why she is late.
As expected, while I was walking in the corridors everyone was staring and gossiping.
What I did not expect was when I arrived at the ground a cold bucket of water suddenly fell from above.
It was then followed by loud laughter from the students surrounding me.
I slowly looked up and saw 5 girls laughing from the second floor of the building. The other one was holding a bucket which I knew the water came from.
“You deserve it HAHAHAHA!”
“How could a disgusting girl like her dare to seduce master Ash? HAHAHAHA!”
“If I was her I would already drop out of embarrassment!”
And as soon as the other students heard the word dropped out they started to shout it continuously like they were in a rally.
“Drop out!”
“Drop out!”
“Drop out!”
I then immediately made my way to the nearest comfort room and locked the door before letting out a silent cry.
Hot liquids continuously fell from my eyes but I did not dare to stop them.
I am just so tired of everything that I had to release it right now.
“W-why.... Why?” I asked but could not continue my statement as I was getting interrupted by my sobs.
I felt so helpless and alone right now.
I could not believe that I could be in a situation like this.
I have been trying to avoid any more troubles in the past years but I still encountered this one.
“Myrtle?!”
*knock

“C-cassine?”
“Myrtle, are you in there?! Open the door!” Cassine yelled outside while continuing to bang the door.
“Y-you will be late.”
“What are you talking about? Just open the door and let me in”
After a few more minutes of arguing with her, I finally gave up and opened the door for her.
I saw how pale her face was as she looked at me worriedly. “What happened to you?!”
“N-nothing.”
“Aish, let us go to the clinic first so you can get changed.”
“O-okay,” I replied and just let her guide me to the clinic.
After asking the nurse to lend me a set of uniforms Cassine rushed me to get changed quickly and get back to our classroom.
“Thank you so much Cassine. If not for you I may still be in the comfort room until now,” I said which formed a smile on her face.
However, as we walked in the corridors 3 girls suddenly blocked our way with their hands crossed over their chests.
At first, you will think that they are just ordinary students. But after looking at them longer, I suddenly realized that they were the feared female gang group in our University! They are even famous because they were the founders of Ash’s fan’s club.
I am doomed!
I have seen how dedicated they were in supporting Ash and anyone who gets in there never returns to the school.
“Get out of the way.”
I was however surprised after Cassine suddenly spoke like she does not care who they were.
“Hahaha, we will not get out of they unless you hand that b*tch beside you to us.”
