Cassine and I looked at each other after the girl at the center spoke.
“What do you want from her.”
“Tsh, do not pretend that you do not know. You are Cassine, right? If I am not mistaken you are one of master Ash’s fans! Do you think we did not know that you have been following...”
“What are you talking about, you got the wrong person! Myrtle, do not listen to them they are lying,” Cassine explained while looking at me in the eye.
The three girls in front of us however laughed mockingly at her statement.
“Whatever, we do not have anything against master Ash’s fans so we will let you go. What we only want is her.”
The gang leader stated before pointing in my direction while grinning. “Since you have been pestering the master’s pure image we will ask you to drop out of the University.”
“And what if she doesn’t?!” Cassine exclaimed.
“Then we will have to use a different method. And I tell you, you will never want that to happen.”
“Come on Myrtle, do not mind them.”
I felt Cassine’s hands pulling my right hand.
However, as we are about to walk on another pathway two girls suddenly appeared in front of us.
“Do you think you can get away easily?”
“What do you really want?’ I mustered up my courage to ask.
Even though my body was already shaking I still wanted to show them that I was not afraid of them.
I saw how a smirk formed on their faces while walking toward us. “You know what we want b*tch. If you want to have a peaceful life leave the University now.”
“That is unfair!” Cassine suddenly yelled.
I then pulled her hand and made her stand behind me. This is my problem and I do not want her to get involved.
“I do not want to.”
“What?!”
“I said I do not want to. If your reason was because of Ash then I will never leave this University because of a stupid reason,” I continuously stated.
I was however not prepared when their leader suddenly appeared beside me and pulled my hair hard. I really wanted to scream in pain but I remained quiet, glaring at her like I do not care what she does to me.
“How dare you call him by his name only,” she whispered. “All right, since you do not want to cooperate then be ready for a surprise.”
And with that, she let go of my hair violently, throwing me to the ground.
All I could do was protect my stomach, thinking of my innocent baby.
”Let us go girls,” their leader instructed before disappearing from the hallway.
“Myrtle, are you all right?” I heard Cassine’s worried voice.
I then smiled at her and nodded even though I am still shaking in fear. “Do not worry about me Cassine. They can never harm me.”
After helping me to stand up Cassine sighed deeply. “What is wrong?”
“You saw how scary those gangsters are. Why do not you just leave the University for your safety?” She asked which shocked me for a moment.
“Cassine, have you forgotten our promise to each other? We will graduate together and leave our life to the fullest. Besides, I do not want my parents to get disappointed,” I replied.

A few minutes have passed after the class was dismissed and I am walking alone since Cassine was in a hurry a while ago.
I do not know why but she suddenly runs away after receiving a call.
What’s bothering me is that I sense someone following me from behind. But whenever I turn around to check no one is there. Am I only hallucinating?
I then arrived at the bus stop where we usually wait for the bus to fetch us up. I was surprised to see Cassine standing from the other side of the road like she was talking to someone on the phone.
I was about to call her when “Cass.... hmmppf!”
The last thing I saw was her looking back before everything went black.

“Ahhh!” I screamed as really cold water suddenly touched my whole body.
After opening my eyes I saw 6 girls in front of me, the girl on the left side was holding a bucket and I knew who threw the water at me.
Why do they love splashing water in the first place?!
Ack, I feel really cold right now but I should not let them win!
I started to look around the place and realized that we are in the old gym of the University.
There were other students in the corners of the gym watching us.
I saw some of them holding their phones like they were taking videos of what is happening right now.
I was trying to look for Cassine when I felt someone pull my head from behind.
Sh*t that hurts!
“We have already warned you b*tch, but you did not listen. Now you will be suffering for the rest of the school year,” words coming from one of them echoed in the four corners of the gym.
I heard the other students whisper to each other. Some were laughing and others were screaming to kick me.
After hearing their demands I immediately held my stomach to protect my baby.

“Awfgh!” I suddenly cried in pain after a hard object hit my left arm.
“Serves you right!”
“More!”
“Hit her!”
“Hahahaha...”
“S-stop...”
I pleaded as I continued to hug my belly.
No one knows about my situation and if any of them learns about it they will have more reason to kill me and my baby.
“Ahh!”
I then released another painful cry after someone pulled my hair from behind, dragging me to another area of the gym.
Now we are really in the center, with everyone watching and enjoying it like it was a real carnival show.
“Let me ask you one last question.”
“Are you going to leave Eucalyptus Cynerea University or suffer the consequences?”
I slowly shook my head in response which suddenly made her smash the baseball bat on my side.
My body was already immune to everything so I did not react to it anymore. I am not afraid of anything anymore.
