Blues POV
The lectures came and went , then the bell for recess rang after our fifth lecture.
We all left the class and went straight to the cafeteria .... I, Zara and Pearl sat together.
"Zara!" I called and she rolled her eyes... She had already promised me lunch .
Zara left to get our lunch and Pearl drew closer to me.
"You said you'll give me a welcoming stroll " she reminded and I gasped.
" Oh! I totally forgot" I exclaimed and stood up with her .
We took a few steps and I remembered Zara..
" Wait! Zara?" I said with doubts in mind.
" Don't worry she'd be fine" she said and dragged me along as I looked back with guilt.
I felt bad to leave Zara but I had promised Pearl that I'd show her round school..
We walked down the long passage and came across the science lab... We took a left turn and saw the basketball court.
" This is the basketball court" I said.
"It's big!!" She said dreamily as she took her eyes round the court.
We stood there for some time to watch the players practice.
"Wow ..they are really good especially that one" she complimented and pointed to Chelsea.
"Yeah .. she's the leader and also miss Emerald high"I said with an eye roll and Pearl stared at me with confusion written on her face.
"Why did you roll your eyes?.. Is she your rival at the game?" She asked making me chuckle.
" She's my older sister Chelsea" I said and she gasped.
" Wow she's pretty ... You're very lucky to have a sister like her right?" She asked with beamed eyes.
" Yeah .. I guess so" I replied feebly.
"If only she knew what a pain in the neck she really is" I thought as we moved to another section of the school but this time the back of the school..
This is where those soccer players practice.
" Who's that?" She asked and pointed to the leader of the soccer .
Who doesn't know this guy... Number one most handsome in the whole school. My sister's biggest crush.
" Well that's Davidson DeVille" I said and she pinched me.
"Ouch! What was that for?" I asked with a crumpled face as I rubbed the spot with my palm.
"OMG!!" She exclaimed and I smiled.
"Is he human?" She asked dreamily and I hit her playfully on her shoulder.
"Let's go back" I stated and she smiled at him as if he was a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
" Let's go" I barked and dragged her along with me.
She kept on talking about him and I just couldn't stop smiling.. we're in grade 10 and he's in grade 12..same grade with the twins.
We walked down the passage and Pearl bumped into the cheerleaders group.
" Don't you watch?" Ivy snapped at Pearl who didn't notice them.
" I'm sorry" Pearl said pleadingly .
" I'm sorry" Daisy mimicked mockingly and I rolled my eyes.
They always get me agitated... What's their problem exactly?.
" She said she's sorry.. why don't you just go and leave her alone"" I retorted and Ivy smirked.
" Look who's trying to fight for Miss Oceans over here" she mocked and the others laughed, I held Pearl's hand and we left.
"I hate that girl so much" Pearl said and I nodded.
" Who are they?" She asked and I breathed out.
"They are the cheerleaders group... " I said .
"They are called the Cheetahs." I added and she raised her brows.
" Cheetahs??!" She called agape.
" Yeah .. Cheetahs . Everyone in the school fears them , but I don't" I stated with a shrug.
"Why? .They look scary " she stated and I smiled.
We walked back to the cafeteria slowly and someone called my name from behind.
"Blue!" the person called and I turned..
Kaycee!?
" Hey bro!" I stated and we did our signature handshake.
"I need your help with something " he said and i raised my brows.
"Could you help me cover up for tonight.. I won't be home early" he said and I blinked.
" Why? Where are you going?" I asked .
" I need to go watch a wrestling match and you know mom.. she won't let me go" he stated and i breathed out.
"Why didn't you tell Chels to help you?. she handles most of your cover ups" I said and he begged more.
" I did .. but she didn't agree.. you know how your sister is" he said and I nodded.
Yeah Chelsea wouldn't help him much.. she's too over zealous to her principles.
"Ok fine but you own me" I said and he ran off with a breezy 'yeah'
"Who's he?" Pearl asked with a smile as we continued our walk back to the cafeteria.
" He's my Older brother.. Kaycee" I replied.
" K - C?" She asked agape.
" No not KC, Kay - cee" I elucidated.
"Oh .. so you have an older brother and sister" she said and I nodded.
"Can I ask a question?" She asked and I nodded with a ' go ahead '.
"Why is your brother dressed in all black... Is he in a cult group?" She asked and my eyes beamed.
" Whaaat? Of course not... Well he's referred to as the baddest boy in our school but he's just showing his inner self" I replied.
"Baddest boy?... He's super cute" she said and I laughed.
" Would you pls hook me up?" She asked and I dragged her to the cafeteria.
Zara's POV
I waited and waited but I couldn't find any of them .. the food on the table had already gone cold.
I raised my head only to find Blue and that strange girl together .. smiling and holding each other like they knew each other well.
"Zara!" Blue called and I maintained a straight face.
"Where were you Blue?" I asked and turned to look at Pearl.
"Actually I promised to take Pearl round the school during recess so .." she said and paused.
" I'm sorry .. I didn't mean to leave like that" she said remorsefully and I stood up to leave.
" Zara!"she called and I gave her a bashful look.
"I'm sorry... Just don't push it" Pearl said.
" Oh! Pls hold it" I retorted and looked back at Blue.
"Next time pls tell me before leaving and meet me in class or you can continue your so called strolling" I said and walked out.
I knew that girl will be a big mistake in mine and Blue's friendship... I hope she doesn't get misleaded in any way.
I went into the class and immediately bell rang for next lectures to begin. She walked in with Pearl and sat down with her gaze still on me.
"I'm sorry" she whispered and I switched seats with someone next to me.
