Blue's pov
The blindfold was kinda tight and she led me to the table and placed my both hands over the cups.
"Choose wisely" she whispered in my ear.
I put my left hand over the left cup and felt something tickle my palm which made me vibrate , I raised my other palm over the second cup and nothing happened.
I did it again... And the same thing happened.
She loosened the blindfold and I looked into the cups... One was filled with water and the other with sand.
The one filled with water was the left cup that tickled me ..the whole thing sounded strange and I drifted away from cups.
" What did you feel?" She asked and I shrieked.
" I think I need to go" I said and skedaddled off.
That clinic is scary... I won't ever go there again.
I was sweating profusely and bumped into Pearl.
" Hey.. watch it" she said not paying attention to the accident.
"I'm sorry" I said feebly and she turned to me.
" Blue!.. What happened?" She asked definitely noticing the sweat.
" Nothing.. it's nothing" I replied and walked away... I need Zara now.
Pearl's POV
Huh!! What's wrong with Blue. I looked back and saw that she was coming from the clinic and went over there and didn't bother to knock.. we have unfinished business.
"Listen" I snapped from behind and she stood on her feet.
"She's not ready yet" I stated and she breathed out.
" But she has to know... You have no idea how powerful that necklace she's wearing is" She said and I groaned.
" For your information.. I do cause I also have one like hers... That's the same reason she shouldn't know now, that necklace thirsts for water" I replied harshly and sat on one of the beds.
"That the reason she has to know.... That necklace hasn't touched water for a long time.. it has powerful magic in it and it's a huge threat to the human world" she stated and I breathed out.
"But wait??... Doesn't she take her bath?" I asked confused and she shrugged.
"Well it's possible she takes the necklace off before she showers" she replied and I nodded in agreement.
" But why did you call her here?" I asked confused.
" I had to scan her..." She said and paused.
" I gave her the test" she added and I gasped.
" Did you conduct the test with the necklace on?" I asked agape.
" Yes but I was careful.. I blindfolded her" she said and I nodded.
"Pearl!... You have to keep a close eye on her" she said and I just nodded.
"And no one should know about this" I said and she smiled.
"But really!... out of every job, you chose this?" I asked with a scoff and shook my head.
"I came here for a reason... A guardian can never be done with her work.. she's like a second parent" she said and I waved a good bye.
If only Blue knew what she is messing with.... I hope she doesn't tell anyone about this... Let me go find her before it's too late.
Blue's POV
I searched and finally found Zara with my siblings...
"Zara ... I need to tell you something?" I said with fear written all over me but I tried not to make it obvious.
"Well I ..." I said and Pearl cut me off.
"Blue!!" She called and I turned.
"Blue is speaking to someone important.. pls go blow your bad luck some else" Chelsea retorted and I breathed out helplessly.
" Blue.. you were saying?" Zara asked and at that moment the bell rang and we had to head back to class.
The glares Pearl got from my siblings could wreck a building.
The students took off like birds out of a cage .The lectures were bad as I got lost through out.
Whatever that nurse said niggled at me .
The bell rang and finally lecture for the day was over .... I went to my locker drop my books ... I was kinda in a hurry at that moment .
" Blue!!" Someone called and I turned.
Zara!!.
"Blue .. you wanted to" she said and I cut her off.
"See Zara .. I don't have time now.. I'm in a hurry" I said and hurried off.
I got home with my crazy siblings drilling me with Zara and Pearl's talk but I just went up to my room and jumped on the bed.
The thought of what happened with the water still left me in bewilderment.
What's going on??.
Well a little shower won't hurt ... I went into the bathroom but first i tried the water thing but it didn't work ... I tried with my eyes closed and it worked it tinkled my palm ... I opened my eyes Immediately and everything looked normal..
What has that crazy nurse done to me?
I decided to take my bath ... My hands were still wet after the strange thing I did.
I touched my necklace to take it off but instead it shocked and I gasped and I looked at myself in the mirror and the necklace beamed with purple light.
"What's happening to me?" I quivered as a tear rolled down my cheeks.
This necklace has been with me since forever and today just after that strange thing the nurse did... Everything just seems different.
It's like I'm living in another world but I'm still in this world.
I'll have to confront that mysterious nurse ..... Something is not right here... At all.
" Blue!!" A loud voice pulled me out of my wild thoughts.
Oh Chelsea.
" Come downstairs.. dinner is set" she said but I didn't reply... I nodded as if she could see me.
"Blue!!" She called again and I knew she needed a reply.
"I'm coming!!" I shouted on top of my voice.
It seems she heard and left...
Yes.. I'll have to met that nurse tomorrow.. first thing tomorrow morning and ask her what she's done to me.
Yeah..this sounds like a bad idea but it's for the best.
