Season 1 Episode 4
Blue's POV
Classes were good and it was sports time. I and Zara were into Dodge ball ... We wore our uniforms and sat on the bench waiting for other members to join.
Actually a lot of the members were from our class... So I knew everyone there.
" What sport do you think Pearl will pick?" I asked not really talking to anyone in particular.
"I don't know...like I care anyways" Zara replied bluntly.
I looked at her and then looked away... She surely has a big problem with Pearl.
"I'm not sure she'll make it into the Dodge ball team... She looks like a doll.. just one hit I'm sure she'll just collapse" Zara said and I laughed hard.
"Oh.. Zara you're very funny" I said .
The rest of the team had arrived and practice began.... Pearl also walked in and Zara shot her a wild stare.
"Hey girls... Guess what?"
" I'm part of the team" she shouted and I just smiled then looked at Zara who's already agitated.
"She's such an Imp" Zara whispered and walked away.
Pearl had a confused look on her face and somehow the coach added Zara to the opposing team and the game started.
The game started and I dodged as many balls as possible and also threw balls back to the other team ..... A lot of people had been knocked out .
Then Zara threw a ball straight at our team ... From the look of things the ball should have hit someone else but for some strange reason it hit me on my shoulder hard instead.
I fell to the floor and Zara ran to me.
" Blue!!... I'm so sorry.. I didn't mean to.." she said and paused.
" Let's take her to the school nurse" the coach said and blew his whistle.
"Practice on hold!" the coach announced.
The school nurse??!.. that mysterious young woman. Actually a lot of students don't like her.... Some even call her a rookie.
I got to school clinic escorted by Zara , Pearl and the coach.
The clinic was a little big ... It's like three classrooms joined together... The beds and tools where properly arranged.
Well I haven't been here ... I don't sustain harsh injuries in school unlike those Soccer players.
I sat on one of the bed and the nurse came up... She's very pretty too bad she doesn't talk to anyone.
"Coach you can leave... I'll take it from here an I need only one person to stay with her" she said with a straight face .
"I.." Zara said but was cut off by Pearl.
" I'll stay with her ... Don't worry" Pearl said and Zara fumed.
She walked out with the coach and the nurse let out a light smile ... I can't believe she's smiling.
"Hi... I'm Alondra" she said casually.
She massaged the shoulder and looked at my neck and her eyes opened in shock.
"What happened?" I asked and looked at my neck and back at Pearl who shrugged.
"N.. nothing" she stuttered and shook her head.
She applied hot balm on it and gave me painkillers and water. I took them and stood up from the bed about to leave.
"Wait!!.. what's your name?" She asked and I raised my brows.
"Blue" I replied... Though I didn't feel comfortable about it but I had to tell her.
"Blue" she recalled and I nodded with a smile.
She seemed nice ... I wonder why people say horrible things about her so much.
"Blue... Would you come to my office tomorrow? I'd like to see you" she asked and I nodded.
I stepped out and felt relieved .
I sighted Kaycee with his gang coming towards me.
Pearl's POV
She stopped immediately she sighted her brother.
Who on Earth is this guy?.
How can someone like Blue have such a brother?.... He wears only black, extremely hot with great physique.
Even his boy gang were dressed in black... Blue told me they're the schools' baddest boys.
Isn't she scared of having a brother like this??.
"What happened to you?" He asked his sister .
" It's nothing! I got hit in Dodge ball practice" she replied and he breathed out .
" Kay.. meet my new friend Pearl" she introduced and I gasped.
He only shook his head and looked at me not even up to a second....
"Where's Zara?" He asked .
Everytime Zara ...Zara ... What's up with that girl?.
" She's at practice" she replied .
"Why asking?" She asked and I rolled my eyes.
" She's putting on a long face... Outside your court but she's with Chels" he said and she nodded.
" Don't you think Zara should be with you and not her?" He asked
I beg your pardon!!. Why is he speaking like I'm some piece of trash?!
" I'll go meet her now" she said .
" I don't like seeing you with someone I hardly know" he said and she smiled.
He walked away with his gang and he's gang waved Blue a good bye.
" What's up with Kaycee?" I asked as we continued our walk back to class.
"Well that's how he is. An overprotective bro" she said happily and I pushed my head.
"I see you're quite popular and Zara is very close to your family" I stated looking for answers to some unanswered questions in my mind.
"I'm popular only because I'm a sister to Emerald's baddest boy and also miss Emerald high" she replied .
"Zara has been with me for a long time. When Kaycee was new here. No one wanted to be friends with me because they thought Kaycee was in a cult.. just like you asked" She said and paused
" But Zara stood by me " She said and a silent oh escaped my lips.
We walked to class and the rest of the day was well okay...
Chelsea's POV
I and Kaycee understands what's happening but this our sister over here is sooo blind.
We sat on the couch of our enormous sitting room... I don't mean to brag but we are very rich and also highly respected in society.
"I see Zara told you everything" Blue stated angrily.
"No she didn't ,we saw it ourselves. Blue don't you think you're drifting away from Zara too soon" I said and Kaycee nodded in agreement.
"Just this week alone .You've always been with her .. it's like you've cut Zara off" Kaycee added.
"Don't you think you guys are a little bit forward" Blue said and Kayc chuckled.
" We're only stating the facts here" I said .
"No one can take Zara's place" she said .
" I hope so" I retorted.
" Because when you didn't have friends .. Zara came up and now that everyone wants to be your friend.. pls don't throw her away" I cautioned.
" I think I can handle my personal issues myself... Okay?" she snapped.
" In school.. when I asked about Zara she rolled her eyes" Kaycee said and I shot madam a stare.
" You must be making a mistake here . Pearl's as nice as Zara" she stated and went up stairs.
Something just tells me that Pearl is not what she seems to be.
I and Kaycee retired to bed after watching a movie.
# Next Morning #
kaycee's pov
It's another boring day at school and I had to attend this class all else my mom will start spitting in my face when I get home.
I was taking my books from my locker and turned then I bumped into someone... Pearl??.
" Hi Kaycee" she greeted and I gave a faux smile .
" Do I know you?" I asked and threw the smile away.
" I'm Pearl Oceans" she said and shook my head.
" Okay" I said and tried to leave but she called me back.
"Kaycee!!" She shouted and I scoffed.
" Anything the matter?" I asked with disgust .
"No I just wanted to know .. if we could have lunch together today" She asked and I opened my eyes in bewilderment.
"No.. I'd rather have lunch with the people I know" I retorted and her mouth dropped wide open.
" But you know me .. I'm Blue's friend" she said.
I'm already tired of talking to her...
"The only friend my sister has is Zara" I said and her countenance changed.
She looked angry and I turned to leave.
Pearl's POV
He just slammed the offer at my face... What a grumpy guy!.
I just offered lunch and he ruined everything .
That Zara is also the cause of this... If I had known.. I would have gotten her out of sight since but because of Blue's sake I can't.
" I'll have to find another way" I turned and walked away.
Blue's POV
That nurse's words flashed in my mind during the lectures. The bell for recess rang and the nervousness increased... I didn't want to go but something in me kept pushing me.
Zara and Kaycee had lunch while Pearl... I don't know where Pearl is... But she's the least of things in my mind right now.
I got to the door and knocked and her surprisingly sweet voice invited me in.
" Blue.. just the person I wanted to see" she said sharply.
" I see you came alone" she said and I nodded.
" Well I just.." I paused and she laughed.
" You don't have to explain anything" she said.
"Pls sit" she said and I sat on the bed and sat she next to me.
" Do you know why I called you here?" She asked making me more anxious.
"To check my shoulder" I suggested and she smiled.
She brought out a napkin and tried to place it over my eyes then I shrieked.
What is this creepy woman up to?
" Wh...what are you trying to do?" I stuttered and she pointed to two glass cups... They weren't transparent so I couldn't see the content.
"You'll go to those cups blindfolded and pick one " she said and I tilted my head to see the cups again and stood up.
"See I don't know you too well and I can't just let you blindfold me." I stated and she smiled.
" So you don't know yet?" She asked perplexed making me more scared.
"Know what?" I asked and she breathed out.
"Just trust me... I'll tell you everything when I'm done with the test" she promised and I sighed.
Something in me just wants to do whatever she says while the other just wants to run away from this creepy place.
" Ok" I finally agreed with difficulty.
She blindfolded me and I walked straight to the cups ... I was scared but I just don't know where the courage came from.
