CHAPTER 24
ALPHA LINCOLN'S POV
Today I had a very important investment meeting and after breakfast, I had to go back upstairs to my room and put on my clean black suit with a black shirt inside, three buttons left open.
This deal was one about luxury ventures, a business investment opportunity that is all about the high-end market, offering premium products or services with exceptional quality. It included things like fashion brands, real estate, travel experience, tech innovations, and so on. Even other businesses that have the same thinking as us and are willing to pay a premium and good/interesting offerings.
Yeah just because I am a werewolf does not mean I can not roll with humans in a good and careful way. I might even meet my kind. Plus the goal is not only financial success which is always the main aim but it's also to give or should I say build up a good reputation for the brand.
Well, let's see how it goes.
Going down the stairs, my ride was ready and I was accompanied by Sean and a few other guards. The place of this meeting was well thought of, the boardroom screamed clean money in a high-rise building.
I hummed and made myself comfortable at the head of the table, everyone standing up in respect. I knew they were going to be more of Alpha's than top business humans. But we knew how to make it work, not all humans have to know what we are just because we do business together.
Did I forget to add this? I was the head!
"Alright, everyone is here I suppose, please have your seats", I said as everyone took their seat.
I first talked to them about the purpose of the meeting, letting them know why we were gathered in the boardroom today.
I was informed of the men and women present today and what market they were under, if it was the fashion part, tech, etc.
"Okay I have heard everything and understand the whole description, I will begin by having an open discussion so that it is easier for discussions and understanding. Each head will have their turn to impress me", I said to them as everyone agreed with the idea.
"Sean please, the floor is all yours", I said to Sean who was also my Consultant.
He gave a short nod as he began, "Ladies and Gentlemen, as we all know, we have exciting opportunities in tech, travel experiences, and big fashion businesses and now I would like for the head of each department to share what they have today."
"Thank you. I am the head of that Fashion department/Industry", A lady stood up and introduced herself, "As we all know the fashion industry is indeed booming well and we have also identified a renowned designer who is looking for investment to launch a new line. I have done some research and I feel like this is something we can invest in. It aligns with everything and it can also help in growing things, including supernaturally", her last sentence before she said thank you and took her seat might be confusing to some but understandable to others. She was one of us, werewolves.
I nodded, while Sean took some notes, concentrating and I also listened attentively, "Next person."
The next was the head from the Travel Experience, "We were considering exclusive travel experiences suitable for every creature, from private island getaways to luxury cruises. No one has done this yet and our connections can make this a reality, I am sure that, it is going to blow up so well in all our businesses across the world. This is all, thank you."
I liked my things brief so we do not have to get stuck on one thing throughout the day, "Next please."
The last who I suppose was from the Tech. He was a werewolf.
"My team had some research done and there is potential in luxury tech, gadgets, and smart accessories that can be suitable for both", I understood that very well, "We have plans on making more techs too and we can sure you some of our beginning plans to know if we can still carry that out. It is a niche market but the exclusivity and brand could lead to nice returns. That's all, thank you."
"Alpha?", Sean nodded to me and I nodded back and clasped my hands.
I turned to the financial advisor and asked, So what are the current market trends? How can we be on top and also at the same time make what we do remain desirable by our consumers?."
"Sir, while the fashion industry is lucrative, is it also highly competitive, and to pull some of these ideas, we need to look at the risks involved, assess them, and also ensure a strategic entry into the market."
"May I?", One of the Team members made a notice.
"Yes, go on."
"I was wondering. What about the potential backlash from human consumers, how do we do all those and still maintain a positive public image?."
From my insights, I began to speak to them all, "Our instincts are not only that but also in business, we should trust in our ability to be able to adapt and lead, we can start small, see where it leads and go big for some and while others we can go big just for a start. The risk also looks calculated", as I was given a document to go through, "hmm, ventures, strength, sophistication, all in one."
"And as for connections on tech, I have that all covered and I will let you know when I have reached out to a friend of mine", this message was directed to the Head of Tech.
"Finally I have heard and seen everything, everyone has to offer here. Negotiate partnerships with key players in each venture, we want exclusive deals for a brand like us with dominance I'm our luxury market and also for the final decision, we will invest in the tech and fashion industry. So, Let the negotiations begin."
With that I got up, everyone doing the same, and left with Sean. When next I come back we will be sure to discuss settlements.
Straight to the pack, I had some documents to add up there.
I thought my day would be drama-free today, only for me to get to the pack and see a large crowd.
I did not waste time and went to check it out, everyone made way for me, and what I saw next FUCK!
