CHAPTER 68
MONTANA'S POV
I think I have been here now for a month. A month when different kinds of things has happened to me, both good and bad, more of bad, though.
Aria and I have been investigating how to get, to wake up the witch, I had come for. And now, after all those days and time, we finally found something.
Actually, Aria did.
So our plan was to be executed on the night of the next day.
For now, we just wait.
Today, a new day, in this beautiful and magnificent place.
Note my sarcasm.
How many times they have used magic on me to bring out my wolf, wanting to force me to change that they failed miserably, even to my greatest surprise.
They have been taking venom, though, and it hurts like hell.
They just use you whenever they want and then make sure you do not die unless it is your time, according to them.
As for Ryan and Aria, Aria still had to pretend with him, until we finally leave this place.
Sporadically, she ignores him or whatever, making him feel bad. She practically has him wrapped around her fingers.
But one time she had brought up a topic of them running away together as I stood a bit far away from them but could still hear their conversations.
She had told me she wanted to know what he will think about it.
Ryan had said that, "No, we can not do that."
"Yes, we can Ryan, just us, together, live our lives together happily. Do you not want that with me?", Aria pushed on.
"I do, but Aria… I-", Ryan sighed while trying to explain. In the end, he did not agree.
"So I am to stay here as a slave then, right? A slave for you and a slave for them, is that what you call love?", she moved away from him and left.
Even though all this was not real, I felt it.
But really dude? If she was really into you, is that what you call love? Watching her get tortured, and you would rather not do anything about that.
It was since that day that Aria ignored him. Plus, it was another means for her to get away from him.
Ryan had tried speaking to her a few times, but she just treats him like order guards. Showing no extra emotion, making him feel like she was her slave, emotionally caging him.
Serves him right! He would have been our second plan if he had agreed to run away with Aria and me, in case our first plan does not work.
"Is she here?", The door to our room opened, Ryan coming in.
"Do you see her here?", I raised a brow at him. The room was small, you can easily spot whoever you are looking for.
Ryan just nodded, I knew he felt like I was also upset with him because he hurt my friend. I was just playing along, exactly the way I should.
"Look Montana, you have to understand me, we cannot leave this place unless Lady Scar lets us, none of us can," He said to me.
"That is what you think. Aria would sacrifice for you. She is even willing to risk running away with you but here you are, being a coward", I rolled my eyes at him, "no offense though", I murmured before I will get my ass kicked.
Ryan did not respond to my statement, he just left and slammed the door, locking it.
My door was open again, hours later, and I could go to the living room, there were games to keep us busy sometimes.
Aria was back by this time, and we decided to play a board game, scrabble.
At least, something to busy our mind with that does not have to be bad.
The game was going so well until I mistakenly hit it, and it fell to the ground. The, should I say, seeds of the games too.
"Sorry, that was a mistake," I said quickly, going to pick them all up, Aria helping me.
But as I was picking up the letters, some formed something in front of me, it wrote, "CALISTA."
My eyes widened and I quickly raised my head. I saw her, sitting in front of the television, that was the witch I came for.
Calista, yes, Calista is her name.
"Montana, what is it?? You look like you have seen a ghost or something", I could hear Aria saying to me.
"Look, she is watching the television, she is awake," I told Aria who turned around.
"Montana there is no one there," She whispered, "Get your shit together before you get us in trouble. MONTANA'S!."
I finally shook my head as Aria shook me by the shoulders, "It was her Aria, the witch, it was her."
"There was no one there Montana, no one", Aria sighed, "This is getting too much, just stop acting this way so we do not get suspicious and ruin tomorrow's plan for us."
I nodded and took a deep breath, Aria was right, "You are right!."
"Breathe," Aria said to me as she patted my hand.
I smiled at her. Although, on the other hand, I was very sure of what I saw.
Soon, that night had come. The night where Aria and I were going to do something very dangerous, something that will either determine our escape or demise.
"Okay, so, no guards, everywhere is clear…I heard them talking about having a meeting, so no guards, and we should have about twenty minutes like last time," Aria said, and I nodded, whilst, doing my tricky stuff on the door knob to open the locked door.
"You remember the plan right and how to wake her up?", Aria asked and I nodded.
We finally went out heading to the place, "Go, I will cover for you and stand guard here."
I nodded at Aria and rushed in. This time the door did not open itself for me, and so I had to get it open.
I walked into the room, the coffin, with Calista inside was still there, and I started doing the things that I was supposed to do to open the coffin and wake Calista up.
During the whole process was when the door slammed open. I turned around, wide eyes, heart racing as Vito and Lady Scar walked in.
"Thank you for your information, Aria", Lady Scar said as she smiled evilly at me.
