CHAPTER 74
MONTANA'S POV
I let go of Finn's hand after realizing that we had not broken off the handshake when we introduced ourselves to each other, "Dinner sounds lovely."
"Great", he smiled, he did have a lovely smile and unknowingly to me, I compared his smile with Lincoln's smile in my mind.
Finn brought out his phone, "May I have your number? So I could text you and we can make arrangements?"
He was soft and polite about it all…mm, charming.
"Sure", I took his phone and put in my number, "Montana, you can save as that."
"Well, umm I have to go now, someone's waiting for me," I said, and he looked a bit confused for the moment, I think I knew what he was thinking or trying to understand.
"My aunt is waiting for me, I should not keep her waiting for long", I finally said.
"Right", he chuckled, "You should get going, I will see you around."
I nodded and gave him a little wave before turning to leave.
I stopped at one point and turned to find him staring, but he quickly turned to his front. Not only that, but I bit my lips and smiled, going to meet with my aunt.
"Sorry for the delay Aunty, something happened," I informed her as I took my seat and we placed our orders.
Dinner was great with Aunty Calista. Every second I get to spend with her, I always learned something new or learned more about my family, my history, and so many other things.
I could not have been happier to have this opportunity to know more about myself because I was always the one without answers, especially after the woman who raised me died.
Of course, the man I called father did not care, so yeah.
We got back to the hotel, did the using and later that night, Aunt Calista slept before me and I just laid in bed, using my phone, k did not have any friends, except from Victoria, and presently I could not text her.
Although as I roamed about watching videos and stuff, a message popped on my phone, it read, "Good evening, hi, it's Finn from earlier."
Of course, I remembered him and I texted back, "Oh right, good evening, I will save up."
From there we started talking, getting to know much about each other, although me being a werewolf was hidden, to him, I am just a human.
He was quite an interesting person, funny, and he flirted a little bit. I welcomed his flirting, it made me giggle softly at night.
We said a lot, like we literally spent all night texting, laughing, I had no idea he would be this fun.
We finally decided to have dinner the next day before we called it a night.
I smiled and put my phone down, arranging my blanket and as I turned, I saw my Aunt Calista starring at me with wide eyes.
"Goddess", I held my chest, "Aunty, are you trying to scare my spirit out of my body."
"Maybe," She replied, "or perhaps someone can tell me what is making her all giddy and giggling at night with her phone."
I laughed and shook my head, "Well I met someone, and we just clicked and started talking, so yeah."
She hummed and nodded, "I see," she said, and it sounded like she was teasing me.
I cleared my throat and continued, "And so umm he asked me out on a date for dinner, it is tomorrow."
"Mmm taking it to another level I see", She smiled, "Well that is okay."
I thought she would bring up the Lincoln talk, but I am glad she did not.
"Goodnight Aunty."
"Goodnight dear", She helped me arranged my blanket, covering me up properly.
It was really nice. I had a feeling she felt like she wished she were there for me, but I understood the loss she had on just one day had caused her a massive pain.
"It is not your fault Aunty, you needed to grieve, you lost so much," I said to her, I did not like how she was silently blaming herself.
"You also lost a lot and knew nothing, I should have been there."
"You are here now, Aunt Calista, and that is all that matters, so please stop blaming yourself", I smiled at her.
"I am still in shock on the woman you have become, will not stop me from taking care of you like I child."
"Please take care of my like I child, I need it", I chuckled.
We finally slept off.
While I was longingly expecting my date with Finn.
Finally, it was the next day and the time for the dinner was close. I was getting prepared.
Seeing as I packed everything with me, only leaving a couple of clothes that I will not really need, I was prepared for any event.
I chose a flowy midi dress, it had like soft blues. It was also a wrap-style, off-the-shoulder design.
My accessories were simple. I just want to look simple and still elegant at the same time, which my outfit did that for me, Thank Goddess.
Deciding on what footwear to put on was a bit stressful, but I ended up wearing my block heeled sandals, which my Aunt also agreed would be lovely.
I packed my hair up, and applied a lip gloss, "so how do I look?", I asked my Aunt, turning around for her.
"You look, mwahh", She said, making me smile widely, "Go and blow his mind."
"Oh I will", I winked at her, getting my purse, "If you need anything just call me okay?"
"Okay," she said, and I hugged her before leaving.
As I headed downstairs, I received a text. Finn was letting me know that he was already in front of my hotel.
I texted him, letting him know I was almost there. And when I got out I found him resting on a car, his car, I suppose.
I think it was a BMW 7 Series car, in black color, not so sure, but I think so. Damn!
When he sighted me, he stood straight, and I walked up to him. We exchange kisses on the cheeks.
He took a good look at me and was like, "Oh, my!"
