Bound By Agreement: The Alpha's Contract Wife And Twins Chapter 80

CHAPTER 81

MONTANA'S POV

I looked at Lincoln and kisses my teeth, "I do mind, but I will tell. Seeing as I got everyone worried and I apologize for that."

"It is alright darling, we are just glad to have you back", Lincoln's Dad said to me with a soft smile, which I also returned.

I said a soft thank you and told them, "The family I thought were my real family were not. I found out that my parents had been killed, and I am the only child."

I could hear the soft gasps in the room and could feel their emotions.

"It is alright," I said to them, letting them know they can relax a bit, "So I went in search for someone who could give me answers, my aunty and I met her, and she did, she gave me lots of answers and more."

"Why did you not tell anyone, why did you not tell me?", Lincoln suddenly said. The audacity.

I really did not want to get pissed off just on my first day here, "Tell you? How? I was going to tell you until you did what you did. How do you even expect me to tell you anything?"

He took a deep breath and relaxed back in his seat, "I deserve that, but you could have told someone else, like Victoria or my parents."

"I came to a conclusion that it was something I needed to do alone, and they have already done so much for me, it was a battle I had to face alone," I said, "And I am glad I made that decision. The only regret I had was not being here for my kids."

"Our kids", Lincoln corrected me, and I rolled my eyes at him.

I was going to retaliate, but then Victoria stepped in, "This is not a time for you both to start whatever this is. Let us just enjoy this moment of Montana's return."

I backed down and nodded, True! Turning to Zane and Zendaya and squishing them in a tight hug.

"So did you find out who your real parents were?", Victoria asked.

"I did."

"Who are they? Are they from any pack that we know?", Lincoln was the one who asked this time.

"I apologize, but I would appreciate it if we do not talk about this topic, at least not right now, until I am ready to say more," I told them, and I was glad they understood me and let it go.

Zane and Zendaya offered their support as we sat together.

Later, after the whole reunion was over and talking, etc. It was now afternoon and food was prepared for Aren and I to eat, but everyone ended up eating at the dining table.

"I would be leaving though, I have a play to stay", I decided to inform everyone.

"What???!", Zendaya asked surprised as she dropped her spoon.

"You are not staying here?", Zane asked, also dropping his spoon like his sister.

"I am not, you and your sister are coming with me too," I said to them, "I told you I would come back for you guys right, and I am back for my babies", I smiled at them.

"They are not going anywhere", I heard Lincoln say. Sounded like an order to me.

"Lincoln, I am grateful for you letting them stay with you and keeping them safe but as I told you, I would be back for them," I said to him.

"They are my kids too, and they are not leaving this pack", Lincoln gave another order because the way he said it was in a final tone, meaning I could not argue or whatever I say would not change anything.

"Well this is their decision to make, so let them choose", I turned to Zane and Zendaya, "Who would you guys like to live with, I, your mother or your father?"

I raised my brow, when they took so long to respond. Do they need to think about this?

"We will stay here, mum," Zane said, and I dropped my utensil and wiped my mouth with a napkin.

Unbelievable. They would choose him over me. I-

Is that some sort of punishment for leaving or what? Because I do not understand why they would pick their father, instead of me, their mother.

The one who had gone through so many things for them, protected them, provided for them, carried them in my womb.

I took a deep breath to calm myself, "I see."

"And we want you to stay here too", Zendaya concluded. Well, that was unexpected.

"I can't."

"You can, this is your home, Montana," Lincoln said.

I knew what he was doing. Using my kids to get me to stay here. Saying things that will give them hope. Hope about us being something, and that will never happen!

"Your room is still your room, same as you left it, but sometimes cleaners go up to clean it, or I do it myself," Lincoln told me.

He cleans my room himself? I thought by now all my stuff would be gone.

"Please mum", Both Zane and Zendaya said, "Just stay here, it is your home too as much as it is ours, and we need you as much as we need Dad."

I looked around the table and, of course, they wanted me to stay.

I looked at Aren who was focused on his food. I guess I have no choice.

I nodded, "Fine, I will stay."

"Yessss!", the twins exclaimed happily, and I could see Lincoln smiling as he looked down at his food.

I guess he won this round. His little plan worked well in his favor.

After eating, I went to park my motorcycle properly in a secure garage that Lincoln showed me.

And then Aren and I went to the car with some stuffs to help pack up my stuff. All done with unloading my bags for the staffs to carry to my room, I smiled at Aren, "Thank you so much, you can go now."

"Of course, anytime kiddo," he said smiling back and ruffling my head, even though he has done that so many times before, and I had always asked him if I am not too old for that but still, he still does it, "Call me if you need anything."

I nodded and bid him goodbye as he got into the car and left.

I turned and was walking back to the mansion when an SUV drove in and parked. I had already claimed up the little front stairs, and the people from the SUV came down.

"Oh I have a meeting with an Alpha," Lincoln informed me as he stood beside me.

I nodded and wanted to turn to go inside and leave him with his work and meetings when I spotted a face.

A face I never thought I would see again.
