Para akong ewan na nagsasalita sa tapat ng salamin. I looked at my face while putting minimal make up on my face. I'll just work out for this morning. Oo, naglalagay ako ng make up kahit nagwo-work out ako, magagandang klase ang make up ko, they are tears proof, sweat proof, lahat ng klaseng proof. Make up remover lang ang makakatalo rito.
I put my hair into messy bun, I look hot. I smiled in front of the mirror and stood up. I'm wearing gray sportswear, a sportsbra and shorts. Good thing Zakarius has a mini gym here. Hindi ko na kailangang lumabas para magwork out.
I prepare a towel and a tumbler and go straight to the gym. I was taken aback when I saw Zakarius in the gym. He's working out using the pull-up bar. Glass wall ang haligi ng gym kaya kitang kita ko siya.
Pumasok na ako sa loob, nakatalikod siya sa puwesto ko kaya siguro hindi niya ako napansin.
I unconsciously bit my nails while looking at his muscular back. Inaangat niya ang sariling katawan sa pull-up bar, wala siyang damit pang-itaas kaya kitang kita ko ang pawisang likod niya. I cleared my throat once again when I saw him sitting on the chair while wiping his nape down to his neck. Halos mapaso ako dahil nakatitig siya sa 'kin, iyan na naman siya sa titig niyang nakakatunaw. Bakit ba ganyan siya makatitig?!
I just turned my gaze away from him and snorted. Don't mind him, Angel. Malamang nakatingin siya sa 'kin dahil ang ganda ko, normal lang 'yon.

I groaned when I lost my balance, natumba ako sa treadmill. Napadapa ako sa sahig at talagang sumubsob ang mukha ko sa sahig. Fuck. Sana ground proof din ang make up ko.
I sighed and closed my eyes tightly while still on the floor. Gusto ko na lang lamunin ng lupa at h'wag ng magpakita kay Zakarius habang buhay. Running on treadmill is my favorite work out because it's easy, ngayon lang ako nakagawa ng katangahan sa treadmill.
“Are you alright?” Zakarius asked. He gently held my arm, tinulungan niya akong tumayo. Inalalayan niya ang baywang ko ngunit agad ko siyang itinulak.
“This is all your fault, Zak!” I shouted and pushed his chest. Damn, what a hard chest.
“Why was that my fault?” he asked. His forehead creased in confusion. I admit, he's cute doing that.
“You keep on looking at me, I can't focus! Kapag nabangasan ang magandang pagmumukha mo, talagang masasapak kita!” naiinis na sabi ko saka inangat ang kamao ko.
Natigilan ako nang lumapit siya sa 'kin. Hinawakan niya ang baba ko saka marahang inangat 'yon. I blinked twice when he examined my face, our faces are just few inches away from each other, I can smell the scent of his addicting breath. I gulped and my pulse raced, when he stared at my bare face, maybe he's trying to see if there's a wound or what on my face. But damn, he's too close that I almost forgot how to breathe.
There's no emotion in his blue eyes but it's making my heart beats like crazy. My knees are kinda shaking and I've been fighting myself from exhaling for how many minutes now. I'm confident about the smell of my breath, but I don't know why I'm suddenly conscious about it.
“May masakit ba?” tanong niya sa malalim na boses habang nakatitig pa rin sa mukha ko.
My knees wobbled once again, he rarely speaks tagalog, but it's always turning me on every-fucking-time he does that. Zakarius Cavalcante is a walking perfection.
“I'm fine, let me go,” I snarled and pushed his chest.

Nagtungo na lang ako sa yoga mat at umupo ro'n. Zakarius sat on his chair and stared at me while wiping his sweat again. Why the fuck is he staring at me all the time? Hinihintay niya na na mapahiya ulit ako?
I closed my eyes and sat straight, I calmed myself and started inhaling and exhaling slowly. I have to forget that Zakarius is there, he's just distracting me.
Napabuntong hininga na lang ako at humiga. I bent my knees and put my palms on the sides of my head. Makapag-sit ups na nga lang, hindi ko na lang papansinin ang Zakarius na 'yan.
Nagsimula na akong mag-sit ups, medyo nahirapan lang ako dahil walang nakahawak sa paa ko. Usually kasama ko si Chan during work out, siya ang nahawak sa paa ko kapag nagsi-sit ups ako.
I was taken aback when I felt something on my feet. Napabangon ako at natigilan nang makitang hawak hawak ni Zak ang magkabilang paa ko habang nakatitig sa 'kin.
“What the hell are you doing?” I asked and raised my eyebrow at him.
“I'm just trying to help you, you seem to be having a hard time doing sit ups,” he murmured and held both of my feet using his one hand.
“Fine,” sabi ko na lang saka inirapan siya.
Inilapat ko nang maigi ang likod ko saka huminga nang malalim. Iisipin ko na lang na si Chan ang kaharap ko ngayon, hindi na lang ako titingin sa pagmumukha niya.
Dahan-dahan kong inangat ang katawan ko, napasinghap na lang ako dahil halos magkadikit na ang mga mukha namin. Nanatili naman siyang nakatitig sa 'kin na tila ba hindi siya naaapektuhan.
I blinked my eyes and turned my gaze away from him. I slowly laid down again and took a deep breath. Calm down, that's the key. Act like he doesn't affect you at all, Angel.
Muli kong inangat ang katawan ko. Muli akong napasinghap at halos maduling na ako dahil sa lapit ng mukha niya sa 'kin.
I gasped in shock when his hand held my back. Isang kamay niya lang 'yon pero pakiramdam ko sakop na sakop na niya ang likod ko. Marahan niyang idiniin ang kamay sa likod ko.
“Straighten your back, you look tensed,” he murmured and let go of my back.
I pushed his chest and immediately stood up. Tumayo rin siya at isinabit ang towel sa batok niya. I glared at him and put my hands on my waist.
“Wait, pwede ka na bang mag-work out? May sugat ka pa diba?” I asked as my forehead creased.
“I'm fine, this was just a small wound. I can't even consider it as a wound. I have lots of wounds here that are much worse,” he said and pointed his body.
I cleared my throat and looked at his sexy and muscular body. He's right, he has lots of wound, but I don't know why he still looks attractive with those wounds. I really got it bad.
“Fine, I don't care anyway,” I said and took my towel and tumbler and left the gym.

Nakatayo si Zakarius sa tapat ng mga lalaking prenteng nakaupo sa mahabang couch. Nakatalikod si Zak sa puwesto ko kaya hindi niya ako nakikita ngayon.
“Chill, Zak, my friend. Nandito kaming lahat para pag-usapan natin ang hatian ng nakuha naming pera sa kabilang grupo,” nakangising sabi ni Cadence. Lumapit ito kay Zakarius at umakbay pa.
“How much?” Zakarius asked.
“Two billion US dollars, bro. Two billion, dalawang bilyong dolyar. Tangina,” tila na-e-excite na sabi ni Cadence. My eyebrow arched, where the hell did they get that huge amount of money?
“Zak, I think I deserve the largest percentage. I acted as the leader last week. I've done so much, I deserve the largest amount,” the man with the black curly hair said. I think he has the manliest aura among the other men here.
“Shut the fuck up, Xanthos. I deserve the largest amount, ako ang naging tuta ni Zakarius nang mga nakaraang linggo. Diba, bro?” sabi naman ni Cadence.
“Wait, ako ang pinakamaraming nagawa nung annihilation. I'm the most skilled fighter here, I deserve the largest percentage,” Eron said and stood up.
“Let's just stop fighting and split the money among us fairly. Tapos ang problema,” nakakunot-noong sabi ng lalaki na sa pagkakaalala ko ay Arken ang pangalan.
“Shut up, rich guy!” sabay na bulyaw nina Eron at Cadence.
I bit my lower lip and cross my arms over my chest. It seems like Zakarius is the leader of this thingy. I bet they are all killers. Do they kill people to get their money? Kaya ba ang yayaman ng mga 'to?
“Who is that woman?”
Nagtayuan ang mga balahibo ko nang magsalita ang isang lalaki habang malamig na nakatingin sa 'kin. That man looks dangerous with his brown hair and brown eyes. He looks like a pure foreigner and his cold voice is so fucking... fucking sexy.
“Kalma, Remor. Harmless 'yang si Miss Angel Mendoza,” nakangising sabi ni Cadence.
“I don't give a fuck if she's harmless. She heard our conversation,” that guy called ‘Remor’ said and took his gun. I was taken aback and my eyes widened.
Itututok na niya sana ang baril sa 'kin nang agad na nahawakan ni Zakarius ang baril niya at hinablot 'yon.
“No one is allowed to kill that woman, Fedorov,” Zakarius said in a very dangerous tone. I somehow felt protected.
“Hay nako, tigilan niyo nga 'yan. Halika, Angel, my friend. Ipapakilala ko sa 'yo ang mga mababait kong kaibigan.”
Hindi na ako nakapalag nang hilahin ako ni Cadence saka inakbayan.
“Iyang masungit na 'yan, si Remor Fedorov 'yan. H'wag mo na siyang pansinin kung nagsusungit siya, ang tagal ng hindi nakakatikim ng sex niyan kasi hiniwalayan siya ng asawa niya,” sabi ni Cadence at itinuro ang lalaking muntik ng mantutok ng baril sa 'kin.
“Shut up, Cadence!” naiinis na sabi ni Remor.
Natigilan ako nang hawakan ni Zakarius Zakarius ang kamay ko at hinila ako mula may Cadence at inilagay sa likod niya.
“Fucking leave now, Xanthos and Eron will receive the largest percentage. Cadence will receive the least amount,” Zakarius said coldly and glared at Cadence. Cadence lips parted with his remark.
“What the fuck? Bakit gano'n? Nasaan ang hustisya, Cavalcante? Mas may silbi pa nga ako kaysa kina Xanthos, e!” reklamo ni Cadence.
“Okay, okay. You heard him, right? Let's go, Cadence. H'wag na nating inisin si Zak. Let's go,” Eron said and pulled Cadence away from Zakarius.
Nagsimula na silang maglabasan ng bahay ni Zak. Pinigil kong matawa dahil naririnig ko pa ang reklamo ni Cadence.
“Ang sama mo naman kay Cadence. Palagi niyang sinusunod ang utos mo. You should give him what he deserves,” pagdepensa ko kay Cadence. Napakunot naman ang noo ni Zakarius.
“Just shut up,” Zakarius said, annoyance is evident in his voice.
“Don't shut up me, Zak. How dare you do that to Cadence? You're a heartless jerk! He brought my things here and even buy fruits for me. You should--” he immediately cut me off.
“I fucking paid him for that! Isa pang salita mo, wala akong ibibigay sa kanya kahit singko!”
I was taken aback when he shouted, he shouted at me. I glared at him and pushed his hard chest.
“You are so fucking masungit! I hate you!” I snarled and left him there.
Agad akong umakyat ng hagdan at nagtungo sa silid ko. Padabog na isinara ko ang pinto at agad na umupo sa kama.
How dare he shout at me like that?! May masama ba sa sinabi ko?
I removed my brassiere and threw it on the bed. Damn him. Wala siyang karapatan na sungitan ako, ako lang ang may karapatan magsungit dito.
“Damn, I need water,” I murmured. Nakalimutan kong uminom ng tubig dahil sa mga lalaking 'yon na basta na lang sumulpot.
Lumabas ako ng kuwarto ko at nagtungo sa kusina. Napairap na lang ako nang makita ko ro'n si Zakarius. Nainom din siya ng tubig.
I just ignored him and took a glass of warm water. I can feel that he's looking at me but I just didn't pay attention on him. I'm still furious as hell.
