Gwen was walking towards the canteen while holding a file against her chest. She was in deep thoughts when suddenly someone scared her from behind.
Felix laughed at her expressions who now glared at him. Gwen became really friendly with both him and his wife.
"What happened?" He asked her who sighed.
"Nothing."
Felix scanned her face.
"Did you fight with Sian?"
"It's not me. He is having those weird mood swings." Gwen pouted while Felix confusingly looked at her.
"One second he is so good and the other second he becomes an old grumpy ghost."
Gwen shared her problem with him who patted her shoulder.
"I will talk to him."
After Gwen left, Felix went towards Sian's office. As he entered, his eyes fell on Debra who was very close to Sian. A frown appeared on his forehead.
Debra looked up and straightened up. She smiled at Felix and greeted him.
"Debra, can you go out?" He asked her politely who's expressions changed suddenly
"I am discussing something with her." Sian replied while Debra who was about to leave. She didn't try to hide the smile that appeared on her lips.
"I need to talk to you in private."
"We can talk later." Sian start signing the file.
"I was going to talk about Natalia's friend Gwen who is married to this old ghost and..."
Felix smirked as Sian stopped writing. He looked at Debra and motioned her to leave the room.
He put the pen down and stared at Felix who was smiling proudly.
"What about her?"
"Oh nothing. I will go now." Felix got up as he was in the mood of teasing him.
"You can complete your work."
"Felix.." Sian coldly called his name and Felix gulped. He could feel anger in his voice.
Felix sat back.
"What she said?"
"Oww, so desperate. Don't tell me that you actually fell for her."
Sian scoffed.
"What? why would I? She is messy and lazy..."
"No, she is not. I think you have an OCD and she is really hard working." Felix praised her while Sian again picked his pen.
Felix leaned towards him.
"Sian, you like her. Don't you.. Don't lie to me."
Sian who was about to say no, closed his mouth.
Felix started laughing crazily.
"I can't believe this."
Sian rolled his eyes.
"I don't like her. She is unbearable, messy and lazy. Who would in their right mind would like a girl like her who..."
Sian stopped and looked behind Felix. Felix followed his eyes and looked behind him where Gwen was standing while holding few files.
It seemed like she heard everything.
"Gwen, it's not like what you...." Felix tried to clear the misunderstanding but Gwen walked towards the table. She put the files on the table and looked dead in her husband's eyes.
"Director send these files." She said without any emotions and then left just like she came.
Sian suddenly felt a pang in his heart. He wanted to slap himself for what he said.
"Dude... aren't you going to apologize?"
"Get out." He glared at Felix who quickly got up and left.
Sian held his head in his hands. He didn't know what to do. He only said those words to silence his inner voices but instead he made everything worse.
