Gwen drew circles on the white paper in front of her. Right now her mind was a mess.
"Argh.." She threw the pen on the table and picked the remote. Sian was in his room since he came from the office.
"That old ghost...." Gwen looked at the closed door and cursed him. It was good that he wasn't in front of her or else she was going to kill him in an instant.
Suddenly her phone rang. She looked at the name of the screen and happily picked it.
"Hello dad." She smiled but the next second her smile disappeared and she went pale.
Sian came out of his room with a worried expression while holding his phone. He looked at her who was pale while tears were following down her cheeks.
Sian took the phone from her hand and cut the call.
"Let's go." He helped her to get up who didn't know what to do.
Sian tightly held her hand and took her out of the apartment. He guided her to the car and made her sit on the front seat. As he sat on the driver's seat, he could hear the faint sobbings.

Gwen hugged her father and cried loudly. Her father patted her head trying to ensure her that her mother will be alright. An hour ago, her mother had an heart attack and right now she was in emergency room.
"Stop crying." Her father broke the hug and wiped her tears.
"That's why I didn't want to call you."
Gwen wiped remaining tears and looked at her hands while feeling guilty. Her father was already worried and she was making him more worried.
One nurse came near them and asked his father to follow her as she needed some signatures.
Gwen sat on the bench while praying for her mother's safety.

"The patient has shifted to the room. Only one can meet at a time." The nurse announced.
They spent the whole night at the hospital and finally her mother was out of danger.
"Dad, you go first." Gwen tried to smile. She was tired and emotionally drained but her father was also no different.
After her father went inside the room, she turned towards her in laws.
"Uncle, Aunty. You can also go home. Mom is out of danger now." She was grateful as they stayed with them the whole night.
Her mother in law hugged her.
"I will send breakfast and don't be formal." She instructed her before leaving.
Sian left with them while she sat on the bench.
Few minutes later, Sian came back and sat beside her. She lifted her head and looked at him.
"Aren't you going to office?"
Sian gave her his coat which he brought from the car.
"No."
Gwen took the coat and wore it. She wrapped her arms around her to control herself not to tremble. It was like a nightmare for her.
Sian could understand her emotions. Parents are like a blessing and he knew how much she loved her parents.
He moved closer to her and took her in his embrace.
Gwen was startled over his sudden action and then put her head on his chest. She closed her eyes and relaxed herself knowing that he will stay on her side no matter what.
The relationship between a husband and a wife is really strange. It's the most beautiful relationship in the world. No one can choose their parents or their siblings but everyone has given a right to choose their spouse.
Sian tightened his grip on her and stopped fighting with himself. He fully embraced his emotions.
