Sian tiredly sat on the couch as he loosened his tie. The house felt empty as Gwen was staying at her parent's house. Her mother had moved to house and Gwen went with her as there was no one to take care of her. It's been two days since he last saw her.
Fighting with his inner self, finally he gave in and picked his phone. He dialed Gwen's number hoping she will pick it quickly.
Someone picked the phone and he cleared his throat.
"Sian, how are you child?" He heard his mother in law's voice.
"I am alright auntie. How are you?" He asked rather disappointed but still he didn't show it in his voice.
"I am much better."
There was a silence on the other end and he didn't know how to ask for Gwen.
"Do you want to talk to Gwen?"
"It's alright auntie. She must be busy. I will call later." Sian replied while he was hoping that she will give the phone to Gwen.
"Okay then. Take care of you Sian."
Before the call cut, he thought he heard Felix's voice.

The next morning he was standing in front of Felix who was confused over his sudden arrival.
"Everything okay?"
"Did you go to Gwen's house last night?"
"Yeah, You know Natalia is really good friend with her and she wanted to visit her mother. But then Gwen stopped us for dinner. She is really good chef and she......"
"You had dinner with her." Sian shouted while Felix froze at his place. He looked around rather horrified not knowing what triggered Sian.
"Yeahhh, I mean Gwen was making pasta and...."
"Why didn't you ask me to go with you?" Sian massaged his forehead. He was annoyed and angry.
Felix gulped as he couldn't understand what was going on inside his head. He didn't know why Sian was making fuss about their visit.
Sian fell on the chair.
"Why don't you go on your own?" Felix scratched his head while Sian glared at him.
"How can I go there? What would they think about me?"
Felix wanted to laugh but seeing him in such miserable state he decided to not put salt on his wounds.
"She is your wife, you are their son in law. Dude, you don't need a reason to go there. Come out your comfort zone and go and meet your lovely wife."
Sian looked at him who was trying hard to not laugh and finally understood what he was saying.
"But, I still feel ....."
"Oh,... I just remembered that Granny was going to meet Gwen and her mother today. Why don't you ask her?"
Sian quickly got up and was about to leave the office when he remembered something.
"Felix find out why Debra left her previous job?"

In the evening, Sian was ready to visit Gwen's house with his mother and Grandma. He offered his help to take them to their destination but both the women knew his intentions. They played cool ad they didn't want to make him embarrassed.
Gwen opened the door and greeted both the women and hugged them one by one. Sian's heart was calmed to see her but when she only greeted him with a smile instead of a hug, he became irritated and put his hands inside his pockets as he raised them for a hug but was ignored.
