Uriel didn't know what he was going to say. He didn't like always being with Helene, and it was the most horrendous part of his life. He would be happy if he would be with Veronica, like what happened to her when she lost her memories.
He swallowed. He didn't even know what he was going to say especially when Jaxon glared at him.
“Alpha, I don't want you to think that I didn't like what you want me to do. Helene is too stubborn, and I don't think that I can handle her. She's the daughter of the Alpha King, and her father would hurt me once he had found out that I was the one who was always with her than you.” he said with calmness. He severely stared at Jaxon to make him know that he was serious about what he was saying. It was his Alpha's responsibility to be with Helene always.
As the Beta, it wasn't part of his job to be her bedwarmer. He was confident that once Helene found out about it, he would always feel tired to bang her pussy every day. He was exhausted of that.
“You won't need to worry about the Alpha King. He's aware that I'm too busy right now. He might think that I still care of his daughter, especially if he found out that I sent you to be with her. You're the best Beta, and I know that you can tame her. I want her to take everything slow. I know that we will gonna find Veronica.” Jaxon uttered while he was putting his signature on the scroll.
Uriel sighed. It means he doesn't have a choice but to obey his Alpha. He nodded as if Jaxon could see him.
He felt sorry for his balls because Helene would ask him to fuck her daily. He might lose his juices because of her.
“I understand, Alpha. I only think about what he can do with me.“ He whispered and felt devastated that he needed to stay with Helene starting tomorrow.
“You can drag her to any place. Like let her watch the sunset. She likes some flower fields. I will support whatever you want.” Jaxon muttered, and grinned secretly. When Uriel asked his permission to leave, Jaxon's face changed suddenly.
He had found out that it was Uriel who dragged Helene somewhere. He didn't know that Uriel had a feelings for Helene, and it seemed that Uriel was only trying to stop himself from saying that he liked the idea that he had prepared for him.
Helene needed to be distracted, and he was sure that Uriel could quickly get her heart. Helene might be a bitch sometimes, but he still hoped that they would be friends, like how they both treated each other when they were a child.

Three months passed, and Veronica was panting when James took another stone. At first, James wasn't too strict at her, but he changed the moment that he changed what he was going to teach her.
“Close your eyes, Veronica. You're too lazy to run. We need to practice your wolf, too!” James yelled and threw another store to Veronica's question.
She discovered that a wolf could control her body whenever she might be unconscious. She could helped her always to be safe. However, she was done.
“It's raining.” She complained and made sure that James would hear what she was ranting. She was in the middle of the lake, and James was at the top of the tree.
“I don't care. Just do what I tell you to practice!” James roared, and took another stone. She gulped and swam to the opposite area. James chuckled, and continued what he was doing.
“Veronica!”
A loud thunder roared in the sky that made James stared at the clouds. He frowned because he didn't even know that it would rain.
“Veronica!” He yelled her name and a thunder strike came in the lake. It was like a bomb explosion that let his body fly on the tree. He lost consciousness, and when he woke up, he still didn't see Veronica.
He stood up as long as he could, and he was trembling when he saw Veronica's body floating in the lake.
He jumped in the lake, and swam as fast as he could. He didn't know how long he had been sleeping because who was important to him was only Veronica.
Veronica was in pale. It seemed that she was lifeless because of the shocked that had happened. He quickly took her and carried her body.
He lowered his head onto her chest. His hand shook when he didn't detect any pulse in her body.
“Veronica!” He shouted without even knowing that Ava was rushing towards him. Ava decided to visit Veronica because her mother wanted her to see if Veronica was excellent.
James sniffed, and when he turned his head to look at Ava, his eyes widened. Ava stopped too, and she couldn't breath properly.
Their wolves began to be crazy, and Ava's hand turned into a fist.
“Mate!”
“Mate!”
Their wolves said at the same time. Ava acted that she didn't hear her wolf that, made her wolf agitated her.
“Do something. Save my sister!” Ava gritted her teeth which made James finally start pumping Veronica's chest.
“Veronica! Damn it. Open your fucking eyes!” Ava's tone was hoarse when Veronica wasn't responding. She clenched her hands again and felt she wanted to punch the man's face.
“Fuck, Veronica!” Ava yelled, and her tears flowed down in her cheeks. She slapped Veronica's face, but she was dead.
“Open your damn eyes. I know you will be alive because you still not get the revenge that you need.”
“What about Morgan? Are you sure that you didn't want me to search about him? He will be sad once he learns what happened to you!”
