Covet Me, My Heartless Alpha Chapter 91

“Veronica!” She heard Ava shouted her name. She turned to look where her sister was, but she couldn't find her. She gasped when she felt the electricity coming inside her body.

“Do something, damn it! I don't want her to die!” Ava yelled at someone that she still didn't see. She stepped forward to follow her sister's voices but she felt that she was walking forever.

“Come back! Veronica!” She stopped from walking, and looked back when she heard her sister uttering those words. She was confused. She couldn't understand everything. She was surprised when she found herself from the black surroundings even though she could still remember that she was in the lake.

James was teaching her. He wanted her to be trained so well before he stopped and gave her an acknowledgement that she passed.

She might felt everything was difficult but she disliked to protest because James was her master. She closed her eyes when she felt that there was someone who was pounding her chest.

Her lips trembled when she heard Ava cry loudly while begging her to come back. She couldn't understand why she was crying, too.

Ava didn't like to express her true emotion, and it seemed that everything was real.

“Ava!” She yelled, but she didn't get anything in return. Ava continued sobbing as if she was dead.

“Veronica...” She turned around, and she saw a man, who was walking closer to her. She stepped back when the man smiled at her.

“It's not your time yet. It's better if you will get back in your body.” The man uttered that gave her a lot of confusion. She closed her eyes, and opened it when the man chuckled. “You are dead, that's why you're seeing me.”

“Who are you? I don't even know you?” She asked at the same time but she stopped when she heard that she was dead. She was stunned, and she didn't know what she was going to say.

She was dead. That was the reason why Ava kept pleading her to get back.

“Dead... But I'm still here. What makes you think that I'm dead?” she inquired with curiosity.

“I don't have enough time to explain everything for you. Morgan is waiting for you, its not your time yet. Your son is alive.”

“A-Are you sure about it? Where he is? I want to know where I can find him.” She stammered and tried her best to stop herself from getting excited.

The man chuckled before he shook his head, which made her heart broken.

“I know where he is. I know everything, Veronica. It's not the right time to say everything to you.” He talked as her eyes widened in surprise.“You will be the next Alpha. I'm telling you already that you might experience that you're alone, always remember that there is someone who believes on you.”

As soon as she heard those words, she was astonished when a light came inside her chest. She felt that she was taking by a large forced, and she felt how her body was getting touch.

“She has a pulse. Damn it. Don't stop! She will be alive!” Ava ordered that made James obeyed what she wanted. James grittered his teeth, he couldn't believe that there was a woman who could easily shout at him.

“Veronica!” Ava screamed out of her lungs that made Veronica opened her eyes. She was panting when the water that she drunk, came out from her mouth. Her cheeks were pinkish, and when her eyes landed in her front she couldn't believe that it were Ava, and James.

“What happened? I can't remember everything.” She whispered and coughed again when she vomited. James hardly breathes before he moved away while Ava smiled at her.

“Are you okay? I want to know if you're fine? Is there a near-pack hospital here?” Ava couldn't stop from asking to James.

“There's nothing. She needs to be back in your pack if you want to ensure she will be fine.” James suggested.

Her eyes widened. She didn't want to stop the training because she wanted to ensure that she would be the heartless Alpha. She wanted that someone might be afraid of her.

“I'm fine. You don't need to worry about me. I'm already healthy!” She exclaimed.

Ava's lips parted. She couldn't believe that her sister claimed that she was healthy despite that she was coming too early in her next life. She bit her lips and didn't say anything to protest.

Ava stayed with her in the same room but she was nervous that James might rejected her. She was sure that the man who had been teaching her sister was her mate. However, James seemed not interested in being with her.

“Are you okay? You're looking in the night sky as if thinking about your boyfriend.” Veronica couldn't stop from commenting that made her eyes expanded again. “Care to share what happened when you're trying to revive me? You're talking with James as if you're too ready to fight with him.”

“He's my mate. I don't think that he wants me to his fated mate. He might be rejected me.” Ava decided to be honest with her. She closed her eyes, and chuckled.

“Ask him tonight. I don't want to help you because he's my master. If you want to know if he wants to accept you then wait for him in the kitchen.”

She decided to do what Veronica had advises. She felt that she was too stupid for obeying Veronica.

“What are you doing here, mate? Are you here because you want us to reject each other?” James uttered that made her mouth hung opened. She couldn't believe that James had the plans to reject her while she was planning to accept him.

“Let's start the rejection then.” He added that made her tears form.
