Demon Slayer: Rise of The First Werewolf Chapter 211

On the three thrones sat three women, a young woman looking to be in her early 20’s, a middle aged woman in her 40’s and an old woman with grey hair.

" Have you a gift for us daughter?" The middle aged woman asked in a comforting motherly voice.

Meggie stepped forward and placed three items on the ground. She placed the egg representing the past facing the young woman.

She placed the caged bird which had reached the midpoint of its lifespan facing the middle aged woman who represented the presence.

Then placed the bone facing the old woman who represents the future, " She has given us gifts my sisters, we shall answer her questions three."

The old woman spoke and the other two nodded, " You can ask three questions sister and we shall answer."

The young woman smiled gently at Meggie, Meggie already knew all of this so she was not surprised.

’ I need to voice my questions correctly lest I waste a question.’

Each of the three fates represented the three periods of time and fate. The sister can see the past.

The mother can see the present while the grandmother can see the future and each can only answer one question.

That meant you had to ask one question pertaining each of the three periods. " My first question, who started the apocalypse this time?"

If she knew who started it she might know how to stop it.

The youngest of the fates spoke, " Neither Witch neither Man, clad in armour forged from the hearts of hell.

The one who started it all is the one who ended it all."

Meggie frowned, she knew the fates sometimes spoke in riddles but that made very little sense.

" My second question, where can I find the Bloody Mary?" She regretted asking that as soon as she did.

" The maiden who bleeds lies in the realm between realms where she slumbers in silence, seek purgatory and you’ll find her."

The answer just made her sigh, ’ To think I would make such a mistake, perhaps I’m too anxious.’

Meggie asked for the location of the Bloody Mary instead of the vessel of the Bloody Mary.

A stupid mistake but she couldn’t cry over spilled milk, it was time to ask her last question but this one was hard.

She didn’t know what to ask, she wanted to know where the last key to the Bloody Mary will appear.

But at the same time she wanted to know how or if they will manage to stop the apocalypse.

She figured the second question took precedent. " My last question, how will we stop the apocalypse?"

The older of the three looked up and opened her mouth but nothing came out. " I cannot answer for the answer to your question does not exist, ask another."

Her response made her sigh with despair, Meggie had asked that question in that manner deliberately.

Her question was how they will stop the apocalypse which already presupposed they stop it.

If there was an answer then that would mean that succeed but the lack of an answer meant the opposite.

" Last question, where will the final key to the cage of Bloody Mary appear?"

" Between the pillars of stone where the sun never rise."

She knew exactly where that was, she bowed and thanked the three fates then left.

After she was gone, the other two looked at the fate of the future. " What do you see sister?" They asked.

She shook her head, the wrinkles on her face seemed to grow in number. " Darkness, all I see is darkness and silence."

Her answer made her sisters grim, " It seems the future is bleak for all." They whispered as one.

Meggie took the ferry back, after reaching the other shore she teleported to Legos, it was currently nighttime.

She watched a teenage boy drinking with his friends, she didn’t move. The boy stood up and walked out bidding goodbye to his friends.

She followed him back to his house and just as he opened the door he found himself standing on a field.

The sky above him was covered by dark clouds that blocked the sun, the winds were so cold they pierced to his bones.

He looked around but there was nothing around him except dry ground where not even weeds grew.

Instinctively he clutched a pendant hanging around his neck, his body shivered from more than just the cold, he was scared.

Meggie reappeared in her hut, " Everything prepared, let’s go." The three nodded and moved out.

" Are you not going to call others?" Fiona asked seeing his few they were, she genuinely looked confused.

Annie and Adrian felt the same, Meggie looked annoyed and embarrassed. " I..." She coughed in embarrassment.

" Wow, you really need to make more friends." Fiona joked with her.

" I have friends, they’re just too weak to assist us here okay." She defended herself.

Meggie teleported all of them, they appeared behind a giant boulder, a few dozen kilometres away from them were two rock pillars.

They were over a kilometres in diameter and so tall they reached the sky, both stood next to each other like pillars of a gate.

They looked like normal rocks that did not emit any esper but their aura was so strong they gave even Adrian a cold feeling.

They waited there, they all wondered what they were waiting for but Maggie didn’t tell them anything.

An entire day went by and Adrian was losing his patience, " Okay, tell us why we’re here or I’m leaving."

Meggie just raised her eyebrow, " Then tell me sweetie, which direction will you be taking?

Adrian froze, she was right, he didn’t even know where they were let alone which direction to take.

He gritted his teeth then took a deep breath and sat back down.

Annie looked at Meggie, " I’m confused though, why are we here? I understand the two of you.

But why are Adrian and I here? Surely you can’t believe we can do anything against a demigod right?"

Meggie smiled at her, " You have your use, you’ll know when it’s time."

Her answer was still vague and knowing she wasn’t getting a full answer, Annie sat down frustrated.

Suddenly the temperature dropped significantly, they stood up and saw a man flying through the sky looking disheveled.

The man waved his hands sending blades of winds cutting through a thick greyish fog but the fog healed back up.

Upon closer look, the fog was made up of Grieved Souls, the man was being chased by Grieved Souls.
