Seeing this, the soldiers were extremely terrified, just as she was about to use compulsion on them.
They both looked up, a helicopter was flying towards them at extreme speed but the helicopter was not the problem.
Inside it were three Espara, each one at level 3. The issue with Espara was that it was much harder to tell their strength without fighting them.
They could be weak or as strong as a duke depending on what type of ability they have, they were annoying to deal with.
Vincent was at level 3 himself but he was an Omega, he didn’t want you deal with three Espara of the same level.
" It seems we need to leave." He whispered in an annoyed voice, he looked at the still breathing lizard regretfully.
Then they took off, they picked up and cloud of dust creating a sandstorm as they ran like wind.
The soldiers stood there dumbfounded wondering why monsters like this would run away from a helicopter.
The helicopter landed and out came three people, two in black suits and another in a military uniform.
However they didn’t recognise him or the squad he was supposed to be. ’Could it be?’ the leader had heard rumours of a special squad.
Perhaps this guy was one of them. He saluted as soon as the three came out, he was not an idiot.
Their appearance had scared such monsters away, he knew they were not normal either.
One of them took out something like a compass, " As I had expected, they’re one of them.
It’s been some time since their disappearance, they were last sighted in Lagos, it seems they’re back."
The agent spoke in a voice that made the hearts of the soldiers pound like drums, she took off her glasses.
What appeared were pink eyes that drove even women insane.
" You’re sure it’s them?" Her partner asked taking off his glasses as well.
" Yeah, while we don’t have enough of their DNA to detect them clearly, we can tell as long as they’ve just recently used their abilities.
All of their abilities carry an aura related to the moon, fortunately they’ve just taken action otherwise that aura would’ve disappeared in less than 10 minutes.
What should we do? Chase after them?" She asked her partner.
He shook his head, " That would be pointless and dangerous, it’s not like they’re a threat to humans.
On the contrary, they seem to have saved them, we go back and report, I think the higher ups will be greatly interested in knowing they’re back."
" And what about them?" She asked looking at the soldiers. " I can use my ability to erase their memories."
" Lady Kitsune, I’m afraid that is outside your jurisdiction, the military will take care of its own." The soldier next to them stopped her.
She clicked her tongue, " I don’t really like it when people disturb my fun, it’s not like I was going to hurt them."
She looked at him threateningly but he didn’t flinch, she retracted her aura and all three left leaving the soldiers standing there.
Before long, the lizard was hooked up and taken away by a carrier type helicopter and the soldiers were also called back.
And a few days later, the meeting of the leaders were had.
All the people this room from the president to the minister and army general knew about the supernatural world.
While none of them were Espara, they were very much aware of their existence and some were close to them.
" What do we do, it seems that world is coming to light rapidly, many strange occurrences have been happening all over the country.
Animals suddenly evolving into monsters and killing people, it’s becoming harder to hide this." A general commented.
" It’s not our place, that’s the job of those monsters, we just need to maintain the order within out level."
The prime minister answered and everybody started going back and forth arguing about what to do next.
" Enough!" The president stopped their arguing. " The prime minister is right, there’s nothing for us to do.
We can’t interfere with that world and the situation is still manageable for now, we just need to divert the public’s attention from these things."
And just like that, the meeting ended, they all came to the conclusion, it was beyond their power.

Vincent and Sane had just arrived in a small town a few kilometres from the desert. " She doesn’t appear to have passed by here."
Vincent nodded, " You’re right, let’s spend the night here and move on in the morning, we need to find this thing so I can go back home, I have more experiments to run."
Sane just shook her head, " Is cutting up others the only thing in your mind?"
They booked a hotel, for safety they decided to share a room but with different beds. At night while they were sleeping.
The temperature suddenly dropped, both woke up with a jolt and in front of them stood ghosts.
" Do you see this?" She asked, he nodded and they looked at each other with grim expressions.
" I see a woman, young, about 24 years old with cuts over her body, can you see her?"
He shook his head, " No, mine is a man who looks pale as if he was poisoned."
Neither could see the ghosts of the other as the report said. " What do we do about this?" She asked.
" What else, we report it back, we have just two days before we die, we might as well make ourselves useful one last time."
" Who said we’ll die? Seeing her wounds, I’m sure I can take them like they’re nothing, they’re just flesh wounds to me."
He sighed, " You’re really are a meat brain aren’t you, the wounds don’t matter. Anyways let’s report this."
He closed his eyes and sent a pack call but frowned. " Strange." He whispered.
" What? Did the pack call but go through?" She asked in a worried voice.
" It did but it was also blocked, it will take some time to reach its target and the message might not be complete."
" We’re fucked aren’t we?" She asked with a bitter smile.
" Yeah big time." Vincent yawned and went back to sleep. Sane looked at him and shook her head.
