They returned back to base in the realm beyond the mist, back in the human world. After Mary left, the mist cleared.
Only children remained alive in that small town, it wasn’t long before the organisation arrived.
Finding nothing but dead bodies and crying children, they knew whatever was here would be hard to deal with.
Amongst them was a man and woman, they were agents of the organisation. Unlike junior agents, these two knew the truth.
The higher ups had tried to hide it, in fact they were still hiding it as they still came up with another reason to explain this.
But these two had been contacted by Morgana and she explained everything to them.
The man sighed, " Priya, why do you think that witch told us? What exactly does she expect us to do?" He asked.
Priya shook her head, " Don’t ask me, she can’t possibly expect us to go against the organisation right?"
Kredan shook his head, " Whatever her intentions are, at least now we know she wasn’t lying to us, the apocalypse has started and the leaders have no intentions to stop it."
These two had drawn that conclusion based on the inaction of the leaders, especially considering two towns have been wiped out by Bloody Mary.
" Bloody Mary, I’ve only heard legends of her,it’s been twelve thousand years since last she appeared." He whispered.
" You know, I’ve read some tales too, apparently the last time she did, the dark witch was the one who summoned her." Priya responded.
Kredan said nothing, to be honest he too didn’t fully trust Morgana, after all there are legends about her.
That at some point in history she had almost brought the entire world to its knees, summoning calamity after another.
" So, what do you suggest we do about this?" Priya asked.
" What else can we do, obviously the higher ups don’t want this getting out, we can’t let them know we know so let play along.
If we find any signs of the Bloody Mary, we inform the dark witch immediately, this is her fight, not ours." He answered.
Priya suddenly pressed down her finger, a golden finger larger than a human appeared and pierced the ground next to a building.
Boom, the finger created a massive crater and the building lost its foundation and crumbled.
In the crater, a rat the size of a large dog appeared, it had been crushed to a pulp, " Alright, let clean this up!" She shouted.
The two of them were the leading agents in this mission, the other agents went into action killing any animal that had evolved into Gadra.
After everything, the children were taken somewhere else, those old enough to remember had their memories erased.
An orphanage was built to house these children together so the organisation can keep an eye on them in case this experience left something dangerous in them.
And everything continued as if it was normal and the end of the world had not begun.

In the realm beyond the mist, Adrian and others stood around Sane’s body, studying it.
Meggie was there with them, she cast a spell to scan the body then frowned. " It’s as you said, she’s still alive somehow.
It seems her immortality is fighting off the fate transfer, these type of wounds are certainly not enough to kill a werewolf.
However Mary’s power of law is preventing them from healing."
" If she’s still alive, why hasn’t she woken up yet?" Annie asked while touching Sane’s wrist checking for a pulse.
She could practically feel the strong werewolf heart beating like a drum inside her chest.
" Her soul, while her body remains alive, her souls has been ripped out of her body, it’s trapped or lost somewhere.
I believe we might be able to get it back if we can take down the Bloody Mary." Meggie answered.
" It won’t be so easy." Adrian responded. " Her law power can effect even you as you once said, it ignores strength completely.
I have the ability to suppress my own emotions so I can deal with her but her spirit guards are too strong for me.
Plus, she has no issue with letting her power lose in the world of humans and you know what that does."
She nodded, " The organisation and the high council both banned those at level 5 and above from using their power in the human world.
Their esper is too strong, it spreads to the surroundings causing both plants and animals to evolve, leading to chaos.
But Mary has no reason to follow such rules, knowing those old fools, they’re not going to give us a pass even if it’s to save the world, they’re too rigid when it comes to their rules, we might have to face them after."
She spat with hatred, " But it doesn’t matter, if my assumptions are correct then..." She shook her head.
" Anyways, we will need to go to the human world."
Adrian nodded, " I’ll call the others, we’re going to need as much help as we can get with this."
" I’ll also try to get others to help." Meggie disappeared after saying that. Adrian called back the others using pack call.
It would take them months to get back here so they used the black market as a shortcut to reduce the time.
In two days, every werewolf was back, they heard what happened to Sane and some were quite saddened.
Melissa looked at her and grinned, " She fought well, I’ll make sure to get her payback from that ghost bitch."
Adrian could see that she was angry, Melissa was very protective of her lineage, more than any other werewolf, with the exception of Louis.
Three days after the werewolves came back, Meggie also returned and this time she had more help.
Besides Fiona, she also brought Maleficent with her and there were two other dark witches coming along.
They looked at everybody and licked their lips. " You’re not to touch them." Meggie warned them.
The witches giggled, " Fear not sister, we wouldn’t want to have you as an enemy." They answered at the same time.
The two of them looked identical as if they were twins, perhaps even clones. Meggie disappeared again.
She appeared in a dark forest where her hut stood, inside she found a messenger bat, it held a letter.
She opened it then clicked her tongue, " Unreliable bitch." She cussed under her breath.
Then teleported again, she went around a few places before coming back to Adrian with two more people.
One was a human who looked to be in his fifties, the other was a warlock carrying multiple swords of varying sizes.
" This is it, let’s move out."
