Fated Tó The Evil Viking Chapter 102

"Alpha, one of the executives is here" I was surprised when I heard Ella announced. I look at Eric and see the same expression on his face.

"Well, that's surprising..." I say and Eric nods in agreement

"It's surprising indeed. I wasn't really expecting any of them to show up." He says while checking his wristwatch for the time. "He's twelve minutes earlier than the scheduled time."

"It's not a He. She. The person is a she-wolf" Ella says

"Oh..." I say

"Yes sir. She told us she got two notices of meeting emails that all executives should report to the Alpha's mansion. Ivar is with her right now at the conference hall."

"Okay, you can leave," I dismiss Ella

"How many executives do we have in this pack?" I ask Eric after Ella leaves the room

"Twenty-nine executives. One Gamma Chief. Five Deltas. Four Sentinels. Seven Elders. Two Assassins. Three Zetas. One Lead-hunter. One Peacemaker. Two Scouts. One Lead-tutor. One Lead Therapist and One Lead Healer. That's Twenty-one males and Eight females."

"Hmmm..." I say, nodding my head. "I would like it if you could help me place each of their faces with their names and the rank they hold in the pack. Can you do that?" I ask as I pick up my phone from the table.

"Yeah... I'll email their profiles to you. In the meantime, I'll tell you who she is when we get to the conference hall and I can identify her."

"Okay. I need to make arrangements for the mercenaries now" I say and Eric also brings out his phone. We both searched on Google looking for a good werewolf private military company.

"Damn! How come they're all claiming to be the best" He says after a while that we've been searching

"Who wouldn't? Would you say otherwise if you were advertising your company?" I ask him.

We continued searching till I found the one with the profile suitable enough for me. Right there and then, I made the call to the company CEO, hoping they would be available within the little time frame we had left.

Thank god, the boss that I spoke with sounded reasonable and understood the pack's emergency. After we agreed on each other's terms and conditions, the contract was sent to my email immediately.

Eric and I went through it together to see if there were no hidden clauses. I signed and sent it back to him. And so the arrangement for five hundred mercenary wolves that will patrol the pack in the meantime was made.

By the time we were done arranging for the mercenaries, we had kept the executive she-wolf waiting for almost an hour.

"The mansion needs permanent guards to guide it when we're not here. We can't continue to leave only Timothy to guard the place." I say as we leave the main wing to the conference hall.

"Henrik, arrange for five men from the estate to come down here at once."

"Yes sir," Henrik replies and turns to do as I've commanded

We arrive at the conference room where Ivar and the she-wolf are waiting. As soon as we walk inside, Ivar immediately stands up.

"General...'' He says, slightly bowing his head with respect.

"Hey, man..." I reply him

The she-wolf executive member however remains in her sit even when every shifter knows it's common courtesy to stand in respect and acknowledge your Alpha's presence whenever he walks into a room

I chuckle in amusement at her little act of defiance as I walk to take my seat at the head of the table. I don't know why I didn't react to her blatant show of disrespect since I'm naturally not a patient wolf. Maybe because of what my dad said about not being too hard on them since their brain had been programmed by Evelyn and her son or could it be because she's a woman, another man's mate?

'They call you an uncivilized, violent barbarian. I bet she's expecting you to act as they had described you' Eric says through our mind link

'I guess so. She would have gotten more than what she wished for if she was a man though.' I reply him

'Be that as it may, General, she still needs to learn respect, otherwise, she will do it again and again if we let her get away with this.' Ella says in anger. He wolf continues to emit a low angry growl as she stands by the door.

'Of course, she will Ella. Who do you think I am? Merciful Jesus the human's lord and savior?' I reply with a chuckle. Despite all my dad said and the fact that she's a woman, she will still be punished accordingly one way or the other for her disrespectful act so she'll know I'm not one to be trifled with.

My eyes meet with the middle-aged woman when I sit in my chair and I see she does not attempt to hide the fact that she doesn't like me from the way she's openly glaring at me.

"So..." I say to her with a raised brow

"So?... So what?" She snaps in reply

Ella immediately react with a loud growl of disapproval making the woman to sharply turn in her direction.

'Stand down Ella, don't act rash! Allow the Alpha to handle this!' While Eric commands through our mind link, I continue to talk to the hateful she-wolf

"So are you just gonna sit there and look at me? Are we in some kind of glaring competition that I'm not aware of?..." I ask her

"I'm afraid I don't know what you're talking about." She replies coldly. "You called for the executives meeting. Here I am, attending the meeting."

My eyes widen in exaggerated surprise then

"Oh, you don't know what I'm talking about huh? Hmm, that's surprising!... I believe at your age, there are some things you don't need to be told. Who would believe a woman your age doesn't know that when you go to someone's house for the first time, courtesy demands you greet and introduce yourself not just sit and glare at them. I am your Alpha..."

"You are not my Alpha!..." She raises her voice, cutting me off mid-sentence. "Y-you– You're just the man that murder my Alpha and his Beta. How dare you demand respect from me after what you did!?..." She glowers with a catch in her voice

"I don't understand, your peers are not here so what are you doing here if you believe I murder your Alpha, MY FATHER, and his Beta?" I ask sharply, emphasizing the word father so she would understand the gravity of what she's accusing me of"

"I'm here because despite all you did, as an executive of this pack I swore an oath and owed a duty to the pack and..."

"You swore an oath under Knox Quinn, the old Alpha!..." I suddenly bellowed, making her flinch out of fear in her seat.

"I am Thor Quinn, the current Alpha. You don't need to be here because we don't owe each other jack shitt!

But now that you're here then let me ring it in your head so you can go announce it to your colleagues. Whether you all like it or not, I Thor Reginald Quinn, is the new Alpha of Silver-Moon pack. Every shifter, human, and thing occupying space on this land is now under my charge.

Any one that don't like it can always leave with their family and apply to stay in another pack or you can try being a rogue, I don't give a shit either way. Now that we clearly understand each other, that's the door. You many leave." I finish saying, pointing towards the entrance."
