"You're never scared of me, Jade." my forehead furrowed at what he said.
"What?" I asked, because I couldn’t get her point.
"If you're scared of me, you've already left!" he shouted at me.
I backed away a bit because of his sudden outburst, but to my surprise, I didn't know the source of his anger.
"What's your problem again? I've been bored here for a few days, stop nagging me!" I shot back.
"Oh, hell yeah? I'm the problem now." he laughed with sarcasm.
"Yes! You make everything a big deal, that makes you problematic!" I was hard on him.
"You're the one who’s almost exchanging faces with Ali, stop pointing the blame at me," he said emphatically.
"Wow! The music is loud, I can't hear him so I have to-" I stopped halfway. I closed my eyes for a second calming my self down. I don't even know why I'm explaining those things when I don't even give a damn about it.
"Please, let's stop the shouting. You're the one I meant there Erato, that's why I followed you isn't it?" I comb my hair with my fingers. He still looks bad at me and I will almost burn there.
"I'm your intention but you didn't even go to follow me."
"Because It's dark and I'm dizzy!" I cried again because deep down I wanted him to believe me.
"If only you had noticed me, you would have been my 'face change' if that's what you mean." I'm still chasing.
"Don't give a reason because you've already exchanged saliva." his bitter rebuttal. He turned his back on me after he said that, my mouth parted in annoyance.
"Are you kidding me? He just sucked the lime with my saliva and you're itching? I watched you flirt with women and knowing that you've bed them, did I ever react like that?"
I said like a touch and he quickly turned to me again to take what he deserved.
I moaned in shock not with pleasure, but I also recovered immediately. His mouth covered me whole and his huge hands grasped my face, I didn't move and I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck just so that our level would meet. His kisses are rough, I can even feel his stubble.
And the taste of his mouth is familiar, the scent that causes me to be dizzy and drowsy a while ago now sends a burning fire in my system. His tongue roamed my mouth, it felt so warm and it send tingles down to my spine every time he tries to enter every bits of my whole being.
I tried to match what he did, maybe because of the effect of the liquid I drank earlier so I gained the courage to persevere my kisses with him. The thought of someone seeing us doing this here didn't even bother me. I bit his lower lip gently and it seems like his patience had been clicked. He gave a firm kiss before releasing. I gasped for breath as he seemed to be experiencing another gasp.
"Wait here." he said briefly.
I was confused there but I didn't have time to ask any more questions because he had already left in front of me and returned to our cottage earlier. He soon returned with a companion.
It's Cali. "Fuck couz. I thought you were finally ordered." Cali frowned.
"If you had brought ice and not Jade, you would have chill now."
That's what he said to Cali before reaching out my hand to leave. We didn’t go on the trail but we crossed the towering grass that covered between the villa and the beach. He's dragging me that the sand are being shoveled by my slippers.
"Erato, wait." I complained. He looked back and groaned.
I almost screamed again when he lift me up like a sack of rice and just for a seconds he bring me down and the next thing I knew I can feel a hard thing on my back while his lips are claiming mine. I can clearly hear the hiss of the waves, and the wind are a bit stronger than a while ago.
Even when my eyes are shut I can feel his furious attitude. Even though I knew I would prefer him to kiss me gently my heart was divided because of the strangeness caused by these kisses of his. He stopped and with that I opened my eyes. The deep and streaked of his annoyed eyes opened up to me.
With the tiny lights around the dark place I can see the redness of his lips as licked it. My eyes widened and I bowed to reach his lips again but he held my arms and prevented me from doing so. I rolled my eyes and rested my head behind me, to my surprise I just now realized, we are under a coconut tree.
"Don't fill up my patience, Jade."
"Oh, why are you so sulky?" His expression became more grim. I chuckled and touched his face.
"These are rough," I uttered.
He wiped away my hand, "Don't wait for my patience to run out."
I rolled my eyes for the nth time.
"Can't you move on with that lime thing?" I'm getting more frustrated. I don’t get the point of this one. He just made my lips his bubble gum, why is he suddenly so sulky?
"I'm just saying that if you want to flirt, not on my face Fuentabella.", He said with authority. I stared into his eyes for a long time before something rang in my mind that caused me to face his gaze with full courage.
I cocked my head on the other side and asked him, "Why? Are you jealous, Mr. Asterial?"
His lips are in thin line for a while but in a few seconds a small smirk plastered on his face like he's finding my statement funny and nonsense.
"You think I am?" he challenged.
I sniffed and averted my eyes from him.
"I know you’re not."
"What if I am?" My eyes quickly returned to him. Obviously just going crazy.
"I'll be back, my older brother will look for me." I struggled with his confinement of me.
"Answer my question." he stopped me.
I sighed, "So what if you're jealous? Then congrats to me. You just fulfilled a child's dream."
I said enthusiastically, because I knew he just wanted to embarrass me in front of him. His face was expressionless.
So the second time, "Can I go now?"
He released me and raised his right hand to my side as if trapping me even more here in the stupid coconut tree.
"I thought I was your meant there? Why are you coming back?" The side of his lips rose higher. This time more confident and sure. There is no more trace of annoyance or frustration, it seems that it has been transferred to me.
"If my older brother sees us here I will never be able to come back for real." I sighed.
He snorted as there was a ghost of a proud smile on his lips. I raised my eyebrow at what he was up to.
"So you want to keep this a secret huh?"
My brows furrowed. He looked down on my lips reason why I'm suddenly feeling uncomfortable. It's just his aura changed and I hate that he seems to have a hold of the situation as of the moment.
"How old are you again?"
"18?" I doubt because of his sudden question.
He chuckled, "Maybe."
The whimsical sense inside of me kicked in, my cheeks for sure blushed and so my first choice was to escape. I left in front of him but I lost because he quickly broke me in inclination.
"You want to keep this a secret, alright. Let's fulfill that ... what do you call that again? Child's dream?" he laughed.
I gulped thinking what he just said.
"I don't do relationship, Jade. I know you're well aware." I unconsciously bit my lower lip and my sight fixed on his chest since I can't bare to look at him. It's like I'm back to the old Jade, the one who can't even look at him.
"This is all what I can offer." That's his words before he claimed my lips again. And indeed, at that moment ... my heart felt like I just fulfilled a dream.
