I purse my lips and nodded. That's the reason why. He’s not the type who seems to love going to such events.
"How about you? Why are you alone?" I shrugged.
"Wasn't enjoying the night?" he asked me.
"Not really." my simple answer.
He doesn't need to know. My phone rang. Both of our eyes went there. Erato's name plastered on the screen. I looked at him and smiled a little.
He nodded slightly with a slight smile on his face. I barely left the post to have privacy.
"H-hi."
My voice is foreign, as if femininity has accumulated.
"You're out?" I shut my eyes tight. I also did not hear his voice for a few days.
"Yeah. There's ... just a party."
"Where?"
His voice was deep. Quiet and not noisy compared to the place where I am now.
"Just at Trish's party. Resort around General."
He did not answer so I added what I said.
"Maybe I'll go home later too, I wasn't really feeling it here."

"You don't want to?" I thought for a moment and pondered the crowd. Of course, not because I was hesitant, but because of the possibility that we had acquaintances there.
"But they're gonna see us. Your friends ..."
"The only answer is yes or no." he said coldly.
My heartbeat went ahead. Maybe anyone knows what my answer was. That's why when I was in his car, my mind was already mixed. I glanced at the car tailing us.
"That's your car." he said.
I sighed. I really can't have no one behind me. I saw him glance at me and bore his eyes into the road seriously after.
"Your brother isn't there." He uttered with a bored tone.
The eyes still look drowsy. I rolled my eyes because he really won't get me until he's on my shoe.
"Are you afraid to see us or are you afraid to see someone already there?" I quickly turned to him. I look at him with disgust.
"What?" In extreme frustration that was all I said.
"Small world." he shrugged. I raised a brow.
"Anyway, you're right. Maybe there is." I smirked.
His jaw moved harshly. He stepped on the gas making his car fly into the vast dark road of Daang Radya road. Can't help but to grin more because of his reaction. Is he the one who started it, is he angry now?
"Where is the venue? Why are you in a hurry?" When I was about to tease him, he answered immediately.
"Doux Maison."
"Tagaytay?" I was shocked to hear.
He just nodded sparingly while still being serious. I sucked. That's a long ride. But I guess it will be different since it's almost midnight. There was no traffic and he also drove fast. I got so bored because he's not talking to me. I've opened up a topic a few times but he also finished it right away. In the end, I retreated.
So when he turned from the long highway I became alert. I removed my seat belt while eyeing the dark surroundings. The road is a bit bumpy and the car is naughty.
"Excited as fuck." I heard him whisper.
I glared at him. On the way he still looked around as if it was a big offense to him. I combed my long hair with my finger before glaring at him. Why is he so sulky? He invited me here for what? He’s so hot headed.
As he stopped the car I touched the door to open it but it's locked. I glanced at him naturally but a dress that was what hit my face. I groaned in frustration.

"Wear that, your breasts are showing." he simply said and opened the door.
I let out a raw laugh. So dumbfounded at him. I thought he would just let me but he turned to my side and opened the door for me. I didn’t move and just looked at him badly.
"What?" He asked innocently.
"This is so out of fashion, Erato! Why would you make me wear this?" I grunted.

He looked up looking so out of patience.

I was about to go down but he slammed the door shut and crossed the little space the two of us had. I pursed my lips as his face was so close to me. Its eyes are cold and angry. While I'm almost out of breath smelling his manly fresh scent.
"All right, don't wear it. Undress and stay here." he strongly threatened.
He was about to step back maybe to prove his point, but I immediately palmed his nape and pressed my lips to his. It was just so fast, his sleepy eyes staring from my lips up to my eyes.
I smirked and wore his jacket. His face is so hilarious! I could see the ghost of a smile on his lips as I looked away as I had a big smile as I stared at him. That's one for tonight!
"Oh heck! Jade!" Cali called out.
I'm surprised to see that there's not many people here. Compared to my home party, here the event seems to be coming to an end. Or they're just starting?
"Cali! Happy birthday!"
I greeted him and pressed my cheeks to his cheeks. He really has this signature look. He really does look like a devil pretending to be an angel. His face was gentle but with a demonic smile.
"I'm sorry I didn't bring any gifts." I pouted to Cali.
He smirked and glanced at my back before answering.
"Oh come on! Gifts are for kinders. I'm glad you were able to come." he said and offered me a drink.
I accepted the can of beer he was holding and he glanced again into my back, causing me to look at him as well. I saw Erato holding a can of beer too, a friend was talking to him but the look was on Cali and me. His eyes were still dark.
Cali leaned into my ears. "Couz has been so hot headed since a while ago, it looks like he's at a party he doesn't want to be at."
I was confused and just smiled at Cali. He invited me to eat some of the foods that are served inside the villa because they are almost all in the pool area.
