Leah's point of view
I groaned when I felt my body aching too much. But, when I tried to open my eyes, I couldn't do it. It felt that someone didn't want me to wake up.
“Leah.” I found myself in the same place where I saw Richelle in my dreams.
“Leah.” I walked into the small lake in the middle of the land. I still heard Richelle's voice but I still haven't found her. I sighed when I looked around every corner that she wasn't in the forest.
“Richelle, where are you?” I stopped when I saw Richelle was on the boat. She was standing on it and her eyes were directed toward me. I ran in her direction, but she didn't let me use the boat either.
“Where did you go?” I asked her. She laughed at me and she took the paddle to make the boat too near to my place. Richelle was too young in my dreams, but I still wanted to know why she had the power to talk to me in my dreams.
“This place was too beautiful. I can't resist spending an everyday day here.” Richelle went out on the boat, and she was walking, moving closer to me. Her long dress was so shiny that I blinked my eyes to prevent her from enduring.
“I agree with you, but I still don't know the reason why I am here again?” Richelle chuckled, she held my hand and squeezed it.
“You're the stubborn woman I knew. Even though you knew that your life would be in danger if you used your healing ability, you still chose to help someone die.” I pouted when I noticed Richelle's sarcastic tone toward me. She's right! That's what I am, I learned how to survive myself since my parents died because of Sergio's family.
“Richelle, I want to ask you more. But I think that the Moon Goddess won't allow you to answer my questions directly.”
“You're right. I wasn't allowed to teach you everything. This was your battle and you need to fight fair even though your enemy didn't know that word.”
“Okay, but what am I doing here again? I want to know the truth but I felt that I couldn't trust anyone.”
“Leah, you're not alone, okay! You need to fight this battle, or else. All of the healers will perish.”
“I don't think that this was funny at all. Please tell me that you're lying.”
“I wish I am. But, I discovered that the hunters were trying to locate our kind again.”
“What do you mean? Did you know who was behind this plan again?” Michelle stopped and she avoided her eyes on me.
“The Moon Goddess allowed me to warn you but I wasn't permitted to answer everything. I want to tell you that if Amoux becomes the Lycan King, it will be a bloody battle for all of the kinds of this world.”
“You mean, there is a war that's going to happen?” Richelle nodded.
“It's about the throne. They want the throne so badly to abuse its power. Leah, you're too kind, and I knew that you were willing to sacrifice yourself for someone that you loved.” Richelle's voice gradually turned to a lower volume, and I felt my body shaking. And when I opened my eyes, I groaned so loud that I felt my chest burning.
“Ahhh—” I shouted in pain. I saw Almera awake because of my screams. Tears slowly formed in my eyes and when I shut my eyes, I saw Amoux had an intimate with Anaya. They were fucking each other and I felt disgusted even more.
I could believe that Amoux did this to me again. I couldn't believe that I believed him. I wished that I didn't even have to save him, maybe if I didn't do that, Alpha Brandon would be with me until now.
“Alpha Leah!” Karen shouted. She ran towards me and when I looked around, I didn't even see Adam and Kairo.
I clenched my chest, and I swear that I will get my revenge on Amoux. Did he think that I won't find out what he was doing? I knew they weren't on good terms but it doesn't give him a fact that he could do this to his mate.
“Shit! Your mate was cheating on you!” Almera started cursing Amoux. She even swore that once she saw him, she would kick his balls.
“How dare he do this to you! I can't believe that he was the future Lycan King. He was too childish, and I know he did this on purpose. He wants to condemn you!” Almera added. I felt the tears slowly fall down my cheeks. I gritted my teeth in so much anger.
“Let him do what he likes. I will make sure that I will win at the end.” I furiously promise.
I swear that I won't forget what Amoux did to me. When I felt the pain was too easy to endure, I stopped.
“Where are Kairo and Adam? I still remember that I collapsed at Fabian's house.” Almera and Karen gazed at each other.
“Yeah. Adam and you were trying to locate Favio. But we're all surprised when you're unconscious.” Karen answered.
“And where are they? Did something bad happen to Adam?” Karen shook her head, and she sighed.
“Your cousin was alright. You don't need to worry about him. He's too old enough to protect himself.” Karen added.
Almera's eyes widened in disbelief. She kept staring at us as if she found out weird.
“You're Adam's cousin! I can't believe this!” Almera began to overreact. She acted like she was deeply hurt because of me. This woman!
“Yeah, then tell me where are they? I don't even see them now.”
“Alpha Leah, they went to Samantha's mansion. They need to give Fabian's to Samantha.” I stopped after I heard it.
“We need to go with them. I don't want something bad to happen to them.”
