Leah's point of view
“Hi,” Alpha Brandon greeted me, which made me smile widely. I raised my eyebrow to intimidate him, but it was unsuccessful. He just chuckled at me.
“Are you making fun of me?” I acted mad at him, but he moved closer and gave me a tight embrace. He coughed while he was sniffing my neck.
“Of course not! I loved it when you raised your eyebrow at me. I would like it even more if you were angry with me.” My forehead ceased after I heard what he was saying. I don't understand why he liked whenever I was angry with him.
“What do you mean by that, Alpha Brandon?” I asked him. I gasped when I felt his hands roaming on my chest. My heart was thumping so fast that I almost couldn't breathe normally.
Alpha Brandon was too clingy. I observed that he liked it whenever I hugged him. He wanted to cuddle after we had sex which made me feel happy.
“You're more beautiful when you're angry. I don't understand myself, but I think that you lure me big time.” He whispered.
“Is that a bad thing? I thought you wanted that. I didn't even do anything to you. Alpha Brandon, you're such an accuser; you're just a horny man who loves fucking me. It would not be my fault if I were too good in bed.” Alpha Brandon laughed so hard.
“Wait, why are you still here? What about your pack?” I added. Alpha Brandon stopped after I inquired about his pack. He was the Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack, and he must manage the pack successfully.
“They're fine. Thomas was doing good for our pack. I don't want to go home now; I want to be with you. I didn't know if I could be away from you.” He muttered. I hissed.
“Alpha Brandon, you're an Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack. Your lack of members trusted you so much; please don't disappoint them. Their lives were all in your hands.”
“You don't want me to stay here anymore? I thought you would like it if I was here with you.”
“Alpha Brandon,” I called his name. I sighed as I caressed his cheeks. I saw him blink twice before he avoided his eyes on me. His face turned crimson, and even his ears. “Okay, I want you to be with me always. But I know, and I understand that you have a pack that you need to manage. I don't want to be selfish when it comes to you.”
“But I want you to be greedy when it comes to me, Alpha Leah.” I was surprised when he held my cheeks too. Alpha Brandon's heartbeat calmed me, but I was scared he might hear that I was nervous about what he was doing to me.
“I am not like that, Alpha Brandon. I understand that I was the only one that you needed to care for. I don't want to be a selfish bitch, who doesn't have content.”
“I know. You're so independent.” He sadly says. He sighed and turned his back on me. I saw his chest was moving indifferently, and his heart— It looked like he was trying to calm himself.
“Okay, I think I should go back in my pack.” He added.
“That's not what I was telling you, Alpha Brandon. I don't want to be a burden on you. I met you when you were an Alpha — you're a responsible Alpha for your pack.” I explained. I went to my table and sat on the chairs. I took the pile of papers that I needed to read and sign.
“Aside from that, we don't have any labels. I mean, we're friends, nothing more.” Alpha Brandon's face turned stern. His lips were in thin lines, and he glanced at me blankly.
“Friends didn't fucked each other, Leah.” He coldly stated.
“Okay, we're just mere fuck buddies. Aside from that, were friends.”
“Okay, you should be frank with me. If you didn't want me as I want you, then I would understand it.” Alpha Brandon's voice roared. I was shocked when he raised his voice at me. And I felt guilty all of a sudden.
“That's not what I mean—” I tried to tell him, but Alpha Brandon was furious when he went out into my room. I stared at the door for minutes. It was my first time seeing his attitude, but I wasn't hurt.
I know he was hurt and disappointed that everything between us was all lust. And that made me feel even worse. It looks like I just used him for my benefit.
I thought that Alpha Brandon was tripping me, but I was devastated when he returned to his pack without informing me. I know that I told him that he should be more responsible, but I was upset when he went back to the Crescent Moon Pack. I don't understand myself anymore.
“Are you sure that it was Alpha Brandon?” I asked Almera again. She nodded when she was slicing bread.
“Yeah, but he didn't even talk to me. It looks like he was in a bad mood. So, what happened? I don't think Alpha Brandon would act like that without a valid reason.”
“Are you telling me that it was my fault? I don't even understand him.”
“You sound defensive, Alpha Leah.” Almera gazed at me, using her suspicious eyes. I sighed in frustration, knowing that Almera was on Alpha Brandon's side.
“Do you have a lovers quarrel? Seriously? You're too young for Alpha Brandon, but I thought you were mature enough to deal with him. Alpha Leah, women have pussy to deal with our man, so use it wisely.” I glared at her when I heard her useless advice.
“Alpha Brandon was into you from the moment he went here in our pack. Do you still remember that he almost went here to check on you? Alpha Leah, you're old enough to decide which man you want to be with. If you wish to be Amoux, I don't have a choice but to accept that you loved an idiot.” she added.
“Almera, it's not too easy to decide, okay? I wish it were too easy.” Palmer shook her head and gave me a little smirk.
“You looked confused. And what disturbs you? Alpha Leah, based on what I recalled, you love Amoux even though you weren't aware at that time that he was your mate. But now that Alpha Brandon was mad at you—”
“Are you telling me that I have feelings for him? What do you mean?”
“It's you who knows your heart. Maybe, you're thinking of Amoux because of the mate bond. I was saying you won't be affected by Alpha Brandon if you don't have the slightest feelings for him.” After Almera was done, she gave me a piece of bread.
“You should learn to learn about your feelings for him. It's too sad if you distinguish your feelings for him; it was the time that he wasn't into you anymore.” She added.
If that's the case, Alpha Brandon's love for me was too weak. I don't want a man who can easily give you for his woman.
