Third person point of view
Anaya screamed in anger before she started shoving the thing on her table. She was panting so hard that she almost clenched her fist to stop herself from getting mad. Her eyes were bloodshot, and she was trying to control her wolf. She gritted her teeth in annoyance.
“You fucking bitch, how dare you to snatch everything I liked. You're just merely an Omega. You're nothing but a piece of shit!” She thought.
She blankly stared at the wall. She was from the Alpha blood, and she was more possessive when it came to her men. She may have liked Amoux so much, but she had no choice but to follow her father's plan. The thought that Damon was into Leah, too, made her blood boil. She wanted to kill her using her hands, but she needed to ensure that Leah was weak.
“Did you think that I could easily give everything to you? You won't get anyone that I have, even Amoux or Damon. You're like your mother and Richelle.” She closed her eyes, and when she opened them, the redness of her eyes eventually subsided.
“Leah, I will kill you. And if Brandon weren't mine in the end, I would rather kill him too.” She muttered. She promised herself that if she lost this game, she would rather kill Amoux, Damon, and Brandon so that no one would be left with Leah. She despised her so much that she wanted her head so badly.
After she calmed herself, Anaya went out to their room. She needed to talk to Lycan and ask for his permission to go home. She wanted to speak to her mother, and she would ask for help to get rid of Leah.
But, before she went to Lycan's room, she saw Damon was waiting for her. Anaya was so uncontrollable that even Damon couldn't even calm her down. She felt disgusted about why she let herself get used by Damon; if Damon didn't have power in the Nightwalker.
“Where are you going?” Damon pulled her to the hiding spot of the pack. His forehead ceased as if he was irritated by something. But Anaya wasn't scared at all. She thought at first that Damon could pleasure her on the bed, but Damon wouldn't even do it. She couldn't forget how Damon treated her like garbage and how she let him wreck her little ass by him.
“I want to go home. My mother wants me to go back there. Please, let me leave.” Damon aggressively grabbed her hand, which made her wince in pain when she felt it stings.
“Didn't I tell you that you should stay here in the Nightwalker? Are you dumb, Anaya?”
“Of course, I'm not stupid. I want to go back to my pack. Damon, you don't have any right to treat me like this? Do you want me to tell Amoux what you're planning? Maybe, your expression was too innocent, but did you think that if you continued being like this, I would rather be exposed to you? I am the daughter of an Alpha, and you're maybe a Lycan, but it won't change the fact that your father didn't have any position in your freaking pack.”
“Anaya!” Damon shouted in anger. He was about to slap her, but Anaya quickly held his hand.
“Damon, if you think I will let you be like this to me, you're wrong. I can reject you. The second rejection was excellent.”
“Don't you dare!” Damon's eyes turned red, but it didn't make Anaya afraid.
“What would you do if Leah died?” Anaya whispered, which made Damon stunned a little bit. Anaya smirked.
“Leah was a healer. Did you think there's nothing a disease inside of her body? She will die because that was her faith.” She added.
Damon quickly choked her, but Anaya laughed so loudly. She wasn't scared at all, for she thought that there were a lot of people who wanted her not to be a Luna in the Nightwalker.
“You're crazy!” Damon yelled in front of her face. He almost spits his saliva at her. He stopped choking her, but Anaya just gave him a grin.
“Damon, you loved Leah so much that you're willing to kill me? You're such a wonderful man. If you're intelligent enough, you know that since Leah was here in the Nightwalker, I tried everything to give her the disease, but I couldn't do that here because you and Amoux kept protecting her. But since Leah went out in your pack, I'm glad I have a chance to give her the disease. She was weak now; I knew it. And the condition would be secretly spreading inside her body. I'm so sad for her.”
“Shut your freaking mouth! Once Leah dies because of you. I swear that I will use these hands to torment you.”
“It's not my fault if she died. It's her fault, for she kept stealing what I wanted away from me. I don't understand why I loved her, she fucked Amoux behind my back, and she acted innocent, but the truth was she's a whore. You want her only on your bed, Damon.”
“You're wrong; I loved her. My feelings for her were true!”
“What about me? You son of a bitch!”
“I don't care about you. I don't even like you! You're the most disgusting woman I have ever known. Maybe, that's the reason why Amoux didn't even look at you with lust or even love because we both didn't have a love for you.”
“You fucking son of a bitch! I promised that I would see you cry once Leah was dead, and I would laugh at you.” Anaya gritted her teeth before she moved away from Damon. Her breathing became heavy, and she couldn't stop herself from glaring at the man in front of him.
She promised that she would witness how Damon became miserable because Leah died. Luckily, Lycan Hector allowed her to go back into their pack. She needed to make Leah's life suffer.
Alpha Leah didn't know why she felt uncomfortable for no reason. After Karen and Almera cooked for her, she waited for Alpha Brandon to inform him about her pregnancy. At first, she didn't want it, but because she wanted to be honest with Alpha Brandon, she was left with no choice.
“Alpha Leah, are you fine? Do you need something to eat?” Karen walked towards her, but she sighed. She turned her eyes to Karen, who had concern on her face. Leah stopped and stared at her for so long when she heard a tiny heartbeat in her cousin's mate.
“I can't believe that you're pregnant too!” Karen's eyes expanded after hearing it. There was joy on her face, and she was happy for them.
“I know, but please don't tell Adam about this. I want to surprise him.” Leah's smile turned sour, for she knew that Adam knew it from when Karen discovered she was pregnant. Karen wasn't aware of his ability, and she felt unhappy that Adam didn't tell his mate.
“Okay, I won't tell this to Adam. I want you to be the one who tells it to him.” Leah gently caressed her belly, which made Karen grin at her.
“Did you have any plans to tell Amoux about–”
“I have, but I think he's happy with Anaya now. I understand because I let myself like Alpha Brandon.”
“Alpha Leah, don't pressure yourself. If the man loves you, he will accept you no matter your past. If Amoux loved you for real, he would get it. And please, learn how not to do it again.”
Leah nodded to Almera. She finally understood it, and she felt guilty for how she had treated Amoux since the last time they met.
Leah waited for Alpha Brandon, but he didn't shower, which was too odd for her. She decides to take a walk to calm herself down.
“Alpha Leah, you had a visitor.” Leah's face enlightened when she heard Almera's voice using the mind link. She quickly went to her office and secretly practiced what she was about to say to Alpha Brandon. I don't want him to get mad at her.
But her step slowed when she saw Damon was waiting for her again. Her heart bounced that maybe something terrible had happened to Amoux. She was surprised when she saw Adam beside him, but his expression wasn't approachable. He was secretly giving Damon a murderous looked, which made me curious.
“Damon, what are you doing here? And where's Amoux?” Leah couldn't stop herself from asking about her mate. She wanted Amoux to know that she was pregnant by him.
Leah didn't even notice how Damon's face darkened when she mentioned his mouth. Instead, Damon forced himself to give her a sweet smile before he ran toward her and hugged her.
“Amoux was too busy. The Lycan informed us that his coronation would be moved so fast.” Damon said.
“What? Are you sure about this, Damon? But I want to talk to him. I tried to tell him something.”
“Leah, you don't need to. Uncle Hector didn't let him go out to pack. He needed fo to choose whether you or the throne. If he wanted the throne so badly, he needed to marry Anaya. That's the Lycan's condition.” Leah's heart was slowly stabbed with dozens of knives. She couldn't even appropriately breathe.
Slowly, the tears she was trying to stop flowed down her cheeks. She closed her eyes when she remembered what Richelle had told her. She said that Amoux would be the Lycan King, which meant that Amoux accepted Anaya to become his Luna.
“Well, I want to make sure that you're safe. That's why I am here; I find out that—”
“Alpha Leah.” Leah immediately turned her gaze when she heard Alpha Brandon's voice. Damon's jaw clenched in frustration at what Alpha Brandon did.
He was about to tell Leah about the disease, but he stopped when he saw how pleased Leah was when it came to Alpha Brandon.
“Are you alright!?” Alpha Brandon checked her body which made Damon groan in madness.
“Are you asking that maybe I attacked her? Or even hurt her? Alpha Brandon, I want you to know your boundary.”
“Damon!”
“Fine, I will leave for now. But, I'll promise that I will go back here.” Damon pulled Leah to kiss her forehead before returning to his pack.
Alpha Brandon and Leah both went to Leah's office. Leah couldn't control herself, for she was too scared that Alpha Brandon might be mad at her.
“What's the urgent meeting? Are you mad at me?” Alpha Brandon nervously asked her.
“Alpha Brandon, I promised that I don't even know it from the very start.”
“Okay, you should tell me first.” Leah was trying to calm herself down, but she swallowed so hard.
“Alpha Brandon, I don't want you to think so low on me. I didn't even want to play with your It comes in the relationship.”
“Alpha Brandon, I'm pregnant, and Amoux was the father.”
“Okay, then, good. Leah, I know that you're pregnant, for it was too evident when you were pregnant.”
“Alpha Brandon.”
“I am happy for you; I want you to enjoy everything.”
Leah started crying as she lost someone. Alpha Brandon promised her that she would do anything for her and even swore that he would help her to tell this to Amoux. After Alpha Brandon left, Adam was still beside her office.
“Leah, I think you should stop trusting Damon. He's an enemy.” Her mouth hangs open in disbelief. How is that possible she was his friend?
