Leah's Point of View
"What are you doing following me?"
I don't care if anyone hears me; I can't take Damon any longer because he still won't leave me alone after Lycan speaks to us.
"I am doing nothing. I'm not following you either. Isn't it we just accidentally heading in the same direction?"
“Huh! You can't fool anyone! It can't be that you just keep walking around the hall for over 30 minutes either?! Because I have been doing that since earlier after I went out to the Lycan's office?” I sighed after I roared to him, "It seemed like we became the visitors center of attraction!"
He was obviously astonished by what I said, so he looked behind him to make sure that we had been just walking around the hall the whole time.
...I'd leave right now if I could! It's only that it isn't that simple because Lycan wants me to stay here and he starts sending my belongings to my assigned room.
"What's the harm in following you?" He was smirking now, but I was irritated and frowned even more.
"It's not a bad idea to follow me. But don't you realise how annoying it is that you kept trailing me since other women started gazing at us earlier? Perhaps if you're not the Prince of the other pack it's not such a horrible thing."
I didn't wait for him to speak anymore and proceeded heading away. I heard a rumble in my tummy when I looked up at the food. I held my stomach and then looked across at Damon.
"I heard it," he said, laughing.
My cheeks flushed with embarrassment as I went fast. Why, given the number of individuals who can hear, why him?
I quickly hurried over to where the food was, but Damon refused to stop following me. I simply let him because this man is tenacious. He will never listen to me, no matter what I do. Such an attitude appears to be prevalent in the race.
"What exactly do you want?" He walked behind me again, but I ignored him and took some food. If I keep reasoning everything he says, my energy will be depleted.
While taking food, my eyes wandered to look for Amoux. Because I don't want anyone to see me, I only move my eyes and not my head.
And when I looked straight ahead, I saw Anaya laughing while she was with Amoux and talking to the elderly.
My eyes seemed to burn in that sight, so I hastily lowered my look to the food. My heart was progressively burning as well. My grasp on the plate tightened, and I wasn't sure what expression I was wearing at the time.
"What is something you see to him and why is your expression so agonising?"
"Fuck!"
*Crashed*
Because of a hot whisper from the back of my neck, I hastily released the plate, causing a loud noise that drew the attention of the wolves who were having a good time.
I gulped and peered into their eyes, which seemed to reach deep into my soul. I looked at Amoux, unsure why his opinion was more important to me.
He averted his sight as I stared at him, then wrapped his hand around Anaya's waist. I lowered my gaze to his palm, but nothing came out of my mouth.
"Ouch!"
Damon's voice quickly drew my attention to him. When I looked down at the floor, I noticed blood that hadn't been there before.
My eyes widened and I looked around his body to see whether I had wounded him, but there was nothing there.
"Aren't you going to treat me?"
He grasped my palm in his and dropped the royal blue blood there. Because of what he did, the murmur got louder. I tried to withdraw my hand but couldn't because he only pulled me even more.
"You! What are you—"
I hadn't finished my question when he seized my hand and pushed my face into his body. He tugged me in even tighter, like if I was already hugging him. Because of what he did, I swallowed, but as he whispered, my throat felt more dry.
"He's staring at you as if he can pierce your skin and create a hole. It was very nice to torment and make him jealous like this."
