His Personal Omega Chapter 66

Leah's point of view

I was going toward the training area when I saw Almera running to follow me. I even saw her mate, Kairo, following her like a freaking dog. I sighed; here we are again! Almera becomes too overprotective of me. She always wanted to see me and to know where I was going or what I would do.

"Where are you going, Alpha? Is there an emergency?" I'm referring to this when I say she continued pestering me with queries. There was a day when I left my Alpha Office, and she began scrambling to find me.

I'm not sure if Almera has a problem, but her behavior makes it impossible for me to breathe. Does she have enough trust in me to realize that I am the Alpha of the three-pack and am capable of defending myself against my opponents? I used to have to kill many people to earn this title, yet she still treated me like a kid!

"I was about to inquire about our pack members. I need to know if they are doing well and enjoying the training." She paused, and I saw her give me a short nod. I caught Kairo's attention, but he focused only on his mate.

I may have been the Alpha of the three packs, but I had three Betas to help me handle each pack I was leading. Almera is my Beta in the Red Moon Pack, Kairo is my Beta in the Shadow pack, and Karen is my Beta in the Dark pack. I am thankful for their help; because of them, my work became easy, so I am grateful to have them beside me.

"Alright, in that case, I can walk with you to check out our training area." I couldn't stop myself from exhaling so loud because of what Almera had told me.

"You don't need to accompany me; I can go there even if I am alone, Almera. Stop thinking I might disappear in the pack I am leading!"

"My Alpha, that's not what I mean. I want to go there with you. As your Beta in this pack, I also want to make sure that you will be safe here wherever you may go."

"We're in the Red Moon Pack. It would help if you stopped worrying about me because I am the Alpha of this pack, and I was about to protect all of you.

"Alpha—"

"Seriously, Almera! What is your problem? You don't need to worry about me every day!"

"This is part of my obligations. I must ensure you will be safe wherever you go in the Red Moon Pack. Come on, let's go!" She immediately walked and didn't wait for my reactions. I just stared at her, watching her while she walked away from me. I glanced at Kairo, and there was a forced smile on his lips.

"Alpha, please understand my mate. I know that you know that until now, she hasn't been able to move forward from what happened when you and William had a match." Kairo says, using the mind link so Almera couldn't even hear what we were talking about.

When I won my fight with William, we were about to finish the process of the member accepting me as their leader. That time I suddenly collapsed because of my wound. We discovered that William had put poison on the sword he was using with me. It's a deadly poison that causes me to sleep for almost a week. When I was asleep, Almera kept blaming herself for what had happened to me. Starting when I recovered, she always followed me wherever I went.

"Kairo, I understand that she doesn't want me to get hurt, but what about if I have meetings I need to attend too?"

Kairo and I began walking together and followed Almera. I saw him frown when he heard what I said.

"I thought we were gonna hide your identity whatever it causes so the Nightwalker can't locate you?"

"You know that I can't hide here for so long. They will discover that I am the new Alpha of the three packs. The Nightwalker was too eager to know me."

"That's why we will do anything to prevent them from knowing that you're the Alpha. I volunteered to attend that meeting, Alpha Leah."

"Hey! What makes you two so long to walk? I've been watching you two for a minute! Are you talking to each other using the mind link?" We were both surprised when Almera suddenly spoke. She scowled as she told us we did something nasty behind her back. There was a trace of jealousy on her face, so I grinned at her.

"You look so angry; what's the matter?" I couldn't stop myself but to start teasing her. Her eyes went bigger as if she was warning me from saying anything.

"Do I look angry? I'm just asking because I was watching you too for a minute, and you kept staring at each other!" Although Almera tried to hide her defensive stance in her voice, she failed.

"You don't need to get jealous because of me. I am just talking to your mate about the—-"

"Who told you that I am jealous? I'm not jealous that you two—--"

"We are talking about the upcoming meeting that I need to attend. So don't be jealous of me. Oh, I remember you told Kairo he needs to find a new mate?"

I saw her eyes widen in disbelief. I chuckled at her when I saw her face turn crimson because I knew she was embarrassed. She didn't know that I knew what she and Kairo did in the packhouse kitchen.

"Oh fuck! Shut up, Alpha! This is the most embarrassing part.." She just turned her back on me to hide in shame. I glanced at Kairo, and I saw his face was also red. Why did they act like they were virgins?

At that time, I was famished, so I went to the kitchen. Unfortunately, I caught them having sex, and I never thought I would witness them doing it. I heard Almera moaning loudly while telling Kairo he needed his new mate. That bitch!

"A-Alpha–"

"You don't need to explain yourself. Honestly, I had no intention to tell you what I witnessed, but I can't stop myself from teasing your mate. And to make her realize that she was lucky when she accepted you as her mate."

"Alpha, I understand why Almera was treating me like this. It's my fault why she's so scared to have a relationship with me again."

"Hmmm. Maybe, It would be better if I asked Almera about what happened. I'm just waiting for her to open up with me so I can know what's the reason why he treats you in that way. First, wait for her to forget about what happened between the two of you."

We continued walking. Almera approached, but there was a frown in her eyes. I winked at her, but she just gave me a dirty finger. This bitch, I am her Alpha, but she keeps doing this to me!

"Almera!" I used my Alpha tone to make her submit. She bowed like a child.

"Speak with some people who are training. I'm excited to know if they find their training enjoyable.."

I was gone for a few days to visit another pack house, and when the Red Moon Pack members saw me, they stopped practicing. The kids waved to me, and I waved back while chuckling at them.

"You are the pack's Alpha and Luna.." Almera remarked as she stared at me.

"Almera, you are all my family to me. I hope you're all perfectly fine."

Almera is like my sister, so she has the bravery to voice her views to me, but she merely folded her arms and continued to stare gloomily in my direction.

"There will be a large gathering of werewolves. They merely want to know who the Alpha of these three packs is, as far as we can tell.."

"You don't need to go there. They've made several attempts to schedule meetings with the Alphas. What if it ends up being a trap?"

Almera winced as Kairo grinned. We both did not remember that Kairo was with us.

"Given that even our covert partnerships are invited, it is impossible that this is a trap. They do this to talk about how each pack may be made stronger." Kairo answered.

"The biggest landholders are Lycan Hector and Alpha Leah. What if they send someone to kill our Alpha?" Almera is adamant about winning. Kairo was defying her, and she was blushing with annoyance.

"Almera, don't you believe Alpha can defend herself? Despite being our only Alpha, we can't always protect her."

"Kairo!" Almera shouted, and I could tell she was about to attack her mate by the redness in her eyes.

"I have confidence in Alpha Leah; therefore, let's trust her. Didn't you see how effectively the three packs worked? She won't remain in hiding in our packhouse forever; Alpha Leah is right!"

"Kairo!"

"Stop bickering in front of me; do you not remember that I am with you here." They bowed together when they noticed the stern expression on my face after I spoke angrily.

"Let me make a decision. I can decide whether or not to go there."

"But Alpha—"

"Did I tell you to talk, Almera? I haven't finished talking yet, do I?" I told Almera fiercely. I couldn't help exposing my canines as I stared at her. Almera's actions make me genuinely want to strangle her.

"I'm sorry, Alpha Leah.."

I inhaled deeply to make myself feel better. Although I felt bad for using my Alpha tone on her, it was the only way to stop her.

"Almera, did you truly believe in me? Because I have a lot of trust in you."

"You won't need to worry about me every day if you truly trust me. I want you to have fun with your mate. I can take care of myself, but if I ever needed you, I swear I would call you immediately.

"I am the new Alpha of the three packs. So stop worrying about me. I know what I am doing."

I can handle this, I'm sure of it! I must announce myself as this pack's new Alpha. They want to get to know me so badly, so I'll introduce myself to everyone. I'm sure Lycan and Amoux will also attend the gathering.

Amoux, I'm not an omega anymore.
