His Personal Omega Chapter 78

Leah's point of view

“This is not a good joke, Amoux!” I felt angry, and I thought that I was nervous about whether I had the disease or not. I know that my parents died because of sickness, as Alpha Giovanna said. But the idea was that there was a strong possibility that I was carrying a disease.

“I hope we're just bluffing, but why do we need to go here to let you know about it? We wanted you to be safe. We need to know about the disease and how the healers are infected.”

“But, how is that possible? I mean, how did the hunter do that?” My wolf was furious about what we discovered. She's howling and wants to kill whoever the hunter that we will find.

‘I will kill that shitty hunter when I see them!’

‘Calm down, my Red. I don't even know that you are an aggressive wolf.”

“They wanted to kill us; that's why I am furious. Leah, we are one body, in case you forget about that part. And if you die, I will die too.”

‘You should be calm; being furious won't help us; we must be cautious in our surroundings.’

‘Yeah, we must. And we need to find out about this; we should know how the hunters assassinate our kind.’

‘I will try everything to find this out, and I hope we will see the herbal leaf we need.’

‘Leah, I know that Amoux will help you. It would help if you trusted our mate.” I rolled my eyes after I heard her talk about Amoux. I know my wolf likes Amoux for us, but what about me?

‘Here we are again. My wolf, you know that Lycan Hector won't like us for his son. He's too protective of him, and he wants Anaya for him.’

‘Bitch please, I remembered everything. Will you please be unhappy? It's not funny.’

‘And, once that Lycan Hector discovers that Amoux was our mate, I am sure that he will use Amoux to get the three packs that were managing. Use your brain, bitch.’

‘As if you're using your brain too.’ I scowled when she talked back to me. How dare this wolf speak to me this way? I am the Alpha of this pack, and she has become bitchy!

‘Leah, I am your wolf, and I am inside of you. It means that I am the Alpha of this pack too. If I am not with you, don't you think you can have your healing abilities? So you should be thankful that the Moon Goddess gave me to you.’

‘Learn bitch. You should learn to appreciate me because I am not an ordinary wolf.’ My wolf added. After that, she cut our communication. Is this for real that she blocked me again?

“Leah, are you talking with your wolf?” Amoux's eyes looked sparkling when he mentioned my wolf. Yeah, right.

“Yes, and she became bitchy again. She wanted me to trust, but why should I need to trust you?” Damon whistled, then faked his cough after he heard what my question was for Amoux.

“Because I am your mate----”

“Except that shit, I want to know why I will trust you, Amoux? You kept hurting me and treated me like trash. You even treated me like your personal whore, so I want to know why 'cause it's too hard for me to trust someone like you; plus, you are the successor of the Nightwalker, and your father was so obsessed with my lands.”

Amoux paused, but he sighed like he was trying to figure out the answer to my question.

“And you killed those men I cherished,” I added, then raised my eyebrow at him.

“Leah—” I glared at Damon when he tried to save Amoux. He stopped and then raised his hands like he automatically surrendered to me.

“I was talking to Amoux. If you don't want ms to get mad at you too, you need to shut your mouth.”

“Leah, sorry, but I can't. You know how valuable my mouth was when it came to girls. Okay, be mad at Amoux but don't order me to shut my mouth.” Damon slowly grinned when Amoux looked at him with madness in his eyes.

“I need to tell this to my Betas; I know they can help me with this.” I was going to the foot when Amoux stopped me for what I was planning to do.

“You don't need to tell them. I wanted to make sure that we could trust them. If the enemy discovers that we know what they are trying to accomplish, they will change their plan to make it more difficult for us to know their next move.” Amoux was right, but as the Alpha, my Betas should know everything.

“Amoux was right, Leah. We're not telling you not to trust them but to be more vigilant in your surroundings. We still didn't know what the hunters would do when assassinating a healer. And a lot of werewolves had a secret alliance with the hunters.” Damon says.

“But how do we find out that the werewolf was with the hunters? It's not easy for me since I am the Alpha of this pack. I need to be with different werewolves; I need to be with them.”

We're all silent; it's too difficult for me; what do I need to do?

“I will ask someone to help us. First, we need to find out if there was an assassination that happened when we weren't born here.” Damon told.

“Like a history book for all the healers?”

Damon nodded, and my forehead creased when I remembered something. I don't even know where I saw that book. I remembered that Richelle was holding a big book that contained history, but I am not sure if it was about the healers.

“Amoux, I recalled that Richelle was keeping a big book. I called it her treasure because she took care of it like a gem.”

“Richelle? The woman who teaches you how to heal using a leaf?” I nodded; Richelle was the one who talked to Lycan when my parents died, and I needed to have shelter at that time.

“She's a member of the Nightwalker. I don't even know her, but she was the one who helped me and talked to your father to make me stay at the Nightwalker.

“Are you sure that the book was still in your old house? And where do you think she will hide it? And why was she hiding a big book?”

Damon stood up and then looked at the mirror. His face was grave. I heard him sigh with frustration.

“If she hid that book from anyone. Maybe it's too confidential; we need to find the book, Leah.” Damon gazed at me while I was thinking about how we found that book.

“We don't even know where Richelle hid it? The old house was broken, and maybe someone threw it away or took it.” Amoux inquired.

I felt so down; why didn't Richelle want me to know what contained the book? What is she protecting?

“Leah, you should promise me not to go to the garden. There are a lot of herbs there that we should take care of. Those herbs were essential to us, but if you grow up, you can visit there to look at those herbs.”

“The Lycan can't come there since he knows I am too protective of my herbs. So once you grow up, I will explain everything to you, but for now, you should learn how to use herbs to heal so you can stop using your healing abilities.”

My eyes widened when I remembered how Richelle always went to her garden, but how did she conceal the big book there? There are a lot of plants there!

I recalled when I tried to go to Richelle's garden without her knowing. I saw there was a hallway, but it was too narrow. What would happen if I went there?

“Amoux, I think I know the answer. It would help if you went back to the Nightwalker and searched for the big book. I thought it was hidden in the small garden that Richelle was taking care of when she was alive.”

“Are you sure about that, Leah? But how do you think she will keep the book in that place?”

“Richelle told me that the Lycan doesn't want to go there, but I don't know why. So there was a big chance that the book was there!”

“Why doesn't the Lycan like to go there?” We were all clueless when we heard a loud slam at the door.

“If you all find the book, for sure, we will know why Lycan didn't want to go there anymore.”

Damon and Amoux nodded at me. I was nervous about what we would find out. What was Richelle hiding that she decided to bury when she died?

“Alpha Leah, are you done talking to the two assholes? Are you alright?” Sometimes, I wish that I could strangle Almera to death.
