When I fell to the floor, I tried to groan when I felt the impact, and I couldn't move my body like I was frozen. I tried to open my eyes, and I saw Alpha Brandon running toward me as if he didn't even experience death.
“Alpha Leah!” I heard him shout my name in a loud voice before I slowly closed my eyes. I thought that I would die today, and I hope that I can talk to Amoux.
Especially when I saw one of my relatives, Adam. I want to see him too, I know behind his green eyes was the pain because of our parent's death.
I breathed out when I was in the middle part of the land again. I saw Richelle with a woman, who had a light blue gown. Her hair was white, and she looks like the most beautiful woman I have ever seen since I was alive. Am I dead?
Richelle glanced at me, and she left the woman who was with her. Richelle slowly walked towards me, I tried to step forward toward her but I couldn't move my feet.
“Leah, you're a healer, I know it's too exhausting to heal someone, especially if you know that when you heal someone your life will be reduced.” Richelle didn't open her mouth, but I heard her talking to me. She shook her head before she touched my forehead.
“This is not yet your time to go here. She wants you back in the world, to do your job. Did you think that Amoux will be the Lycan King?”
“Richelle, is it true that you mate with Lycan Hector?”
Rochelle nodded but her eyes were unhappy before she forced herself to smile at me.
“You don't need to ask me about that, all that you wanted to know was written in my book. Okay, I will repeat my question, did you think that Amoux will inherit the throne?”
“Yeah.”
“You're right, Leah. Amoux will be the Lycan King, and the moment that he finally gets his desire, that's the most tragic part that you may experience.”
“R-Richelle,” I touched my neck when I felt that I couldn't even breathe properly. And a strong force bangs me, and I groaned, slowly opening my eyes, but I was too weak.
“Alpha Leah!” I don't know if I should be glad that I heard Almera's voice. I felt a wet thing, she was wiping on my face, on my nose. I grunted, but I couldn't move my body.
“I really hate you for making me feel worried for a second time! Bitch, it's been a day since you went out to this freaking hospital but here you are again!” I moaned and shook my head, and I felt a big hand touching my forehead and caressing my hair.
“Baby, you should stop nagging at Alpa Leah. She wasn't in good shape, if she's fine then you may continue it.” I wish that I could smack Kairo on his head, argh!
“No! Why should I stop nagging at her? I want her to know that I am frustrated and worried whenever she is here in this hospital. Maybe, this hospital has a curse or this hospital hate----”
“Almera, Alpha Leah was thankful to have you by her side. I know that you're too worried about her, but we should let her take a rest. Her nose doesn't stop bleeding.” Alpha Brandon cut Almera's words and I realized that he was the one who was caressing my hair. I don't even know when I fell asleep, and I don't even see Richelle again.
When I woke up, I saw Alpha Brandon sleeping while he was sitting beside me. I could finally move my body, and I turned my gaze to the room. At that moment, Adam was walking into the room, he had a flower in his hands, and his eyes blinked when he saw me.
He lowered his head, and his shoulder was shaking. He immediately went closer to me, I saw small tears coming from his eyes.
“Alpha Leah!” He shouted, making Alpha Brandon awake. I heard loud footsteps and Karen's eyes widened when she saw me.
“Oh!” Almera cried while she was grabbing my hair. I wince in pain, but Kairo took away his mate beside me.
“You breaking bitch! You make me worried too much. How dare you sleep on this bed for almost two weeks!” I was stunned when she said that I was asleep for almost two weeks, at first I didn't even believe her but she was telling me the truth when they explained the date today, and the day Alpha Brandon rushed into this hospital.
Almera didn't even tell me about Amoux? In the two weeks that I was asleep, it looks like Amoux didn't even visit me. But I didn't feel hurt, either my wolf.
“Alpha Leah.” Alpha Brandon called my name, he was staring at me intently before he sighed. I know he wanted to ask me, but he was undecided if he would continue it.
“What is it, Alpha Brandon? Are you alright?” My heart was thumping so fast when he held my hand. I slowly scalloped when I met his icy ice.
“I want to ask about what happened before you passed out. I thought I'll gonna be dead, but I felt the energy when I woke up in my body, and I saw you, your hands were on my chest. I want to know if you're the one who—-”
“Alpha Brandon, I wasn't prepared for this question.”
“It's alright you don't need to think about it. I'm sorry—-”
“If you want to know if I was the one who made you alive again, I'm not. It's the Moon Goddess because I pleaded to her that I don't want you dead. I don't want it.” Alpha Brandon closed his eyes, cleared his throat, and opened his eyes. He avoided his gaze on me.
“Ahh–” He coughed, I saw his cheeks turn red, and even his ears. I bit my lips to prevent myself from laughing at him, I don't want him to feel awkward with me, and felt embarrassed that Inwas aware that he was blushing because of me.
But sadness came into my heart when I remembered what Adam told me. Alpha Brandon was always beside me, but Amoux wasn't.
“Wait, what about the culprit?”
“You don't need to think about the culprit. For now, you should rest because you have a lot of piled papers in your office that you need to fix.” I groaned when he reminded me about the papers on my table. Alpha Brandon was laughing at me, I was about to kick his ball but he dodged it.
“If you want to kick me, then save your energy. Alpha Leah, you're weak today, and I was stronger than you.” He pinched my nose. Damn this Alpha! Once I was out of this hospital, I swear that his balls would get swollen by my kick.
Days passed, and I was finally discharged from the hospital. I was humming while reading the tons of papers when I heard a loud knock on the door.
“Come in,” I shouted. I don't even know why I was screaming, or whoever was behind the door needed to knock instead of using the mind link.
I was about to sign my signature but the pen was hanging when I saw Damon entering my office.
“Damon, what's the reason that you went here?”
“Amoux was missing.”
