It was three days later when I woke up. My mind is hazy and I can barely remember what happened. Later, Veronica recounted to me some of the things she knew, like how Garrick and Cato argued about saving me, or how scared they were from the avalanche.
I lay on the bed with a white bandage on my head and listened intently. Veronica also mentioned Dominic. When it came to him, her attitude was clear with respect and admiration. She said Dominic sent 10 helicopters with the most professional rescue team here, or he himself went down the hole filled with ice to save her.
"I heard people say that Dominic was really cool at that time. He tried to find you, even said he heard your cry for help. Everyone has given up hope, only he has not." I was on crutches and slowly moved down the hallway. According to the instructions of the female nurses, Kaylin's ward was on the fifth floor, three floors from mine.

I didn't listen to the rest of that conversation.
I went back to my room, feeling a little depressed. I can't imagine how Kaylin will react when she wakes up. She used to be a very strong and determined person, although her behavior was often rude and presumptuous. Perhaps she would be angry and screaming, maybe she would be desperate and crying. Anyway, I don't feel that she is bad enough to suffer such great unhappiness.
As soon as I entered my hospital room, I saw Dominic standing inside, he was on the phone to someone. Seeing me enter, he hung up the phone and approached me.
"Where did you go? Your body is very weak, you should rest." Dominic picked me up and laid me on the bed, then he sat down next to me. "How do you feel?"
