Annoyed
Pinakatitigan ko siya, Even though I was struggling with many people I followed him. Some of my friends intend to talk to me but.. nasa isang tao lang ang buong atensyon ko.
I almost run! Para lang maabutan siya. His broad shoulder and manly posture will be caught by my attention. Sa paraan ng paghakbang niya ay minamarkahan niya ang lupa.
I watched him sit in a couch where Chave my cousin was. Ngumiti ako bago hawiin ang aking buhok. I gulped, I swallowed the nervous I felt. In my whole life has never felt like this maybe in recitation only at school do I feel like this. Pakiramdam ko ay binalutan ako ng kaba.
Chave smiled at him "Hey! Kanina ka pa nandito? I thought you couldn't come!" He said when Magen sat on the couch.
I smiled widely, They didn't notice my presence. I immediately pushed the woman who intended to sit next to Magen. No! Bitch! He's mine. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay, Ano papalag ka? Sampalan na lang?
"Oh! My cousin being a territorial, huh?"Chave teased when I sat beside at Magen.
Magen looked at me, just as I expected he glare to me. It was as though he had killed me in his mind. I licked my lower lips when I felt like my heart beats faster.
His eyes was shown as the powerful moon it's look beautiful. His sharp jaw shown his voguish. His lips were shown delicious. Wait.. what?!
I chuckled "Yeah.. Chave, Whatever," I rolled my eyes.
Parang bumaliktad ang aking puso dahil sa titig ni Magen. I bit my lower lips and smiled at him. He just remain unreadable. He looks like a book! It seems like a book that translated in a different language I can't understand!
"Why are you here?" Magen seriously asked.
He glare at me before drinking the vodka that was in front of him. My lips parted, His adams apple is so powerful too! Nababaliw na ata ako!
I shrugged "Because you're here," matapang kong sagot, He shook his head "I'm serious when I said I like you!" I shouted.
His brows furrowed, He put the glass around before looking at me. He even licked his lips with his tongue. Parang tumigil ang oras!
He chuckled "I was also serious about what I said I didn't want you," He said using his husky voice.
I quickly heard my cousin's laughter. I looked at him reason why he shut up. Nakaramdam ako ng bahagyang pagpapahiya dahil sa sinabi niya. It looks like his words is a knife!
Kinagat ko ang aking labi bago labanan ang kaniyang titig. His eyes had no regret for what was said. Would he really be so hurtful to speak?
I even heard the laughter of the two women who were in spite of Chave who giggled. Gusto ko sila sigawan. Gusto ko tumayo at sabunutan sila.
"When I slap your face, you will give us a silence?" I said at the girls and gave them a glare.
Chave chuckled "Oh.. girls, shut up. I think she's serious with Magen," natatawa niyang sabi.
Tiningnan ko ang mga babae na bigla namang namutla at umiling. Yeah girls!
Magen looked at me "You shut up, stay away from me." he said with a frustation tone.
Umatras siya sa akin na para bang may isa akong sakit na kapag nilapitan niya ay mahahawa siya. I felt like my chest heavy. I looked at his deep eye. I felt drowning.
I sniffed "No.. no, come on. I just want beside you!" I giggled.
Even I felt like there's a chance that he gonna slap me again some of his hurtful words but I tried. Tumikhim siya, I saw in his eyes the being annoyed of my presence. Sobrang nakakairita ba ako?
He sighed and combed his hair using his finger "Please, Heart. Kung gusto mo dito sa tabi ko then shut up and sit," He pointed the couch using his finger "No shouting." madiin niyang sabi.
I nodded like a puppy, He chuckled and shook his head. I crossed my arm, I stare at him. Hindi ko alam pero alam kong darating sa punto na mapapatanong ako na.. Can I worship this man?
"Oh! Don't drink too much, Magen." awat ko sa kaniya.
Shit! Okay, You shut up self!
He gaze at me, Para bang mas nairita siya sa sinabi ko. I nodded and avoid his gaze. Natanaw ko pa ang ibang pinsan ko na pagala-gala dito. I thought they were just there in the guest room?
Pinalobo ko ang aking pisnge, I just looked at my stilettos. I bit my lips to avoid talking. I felt like he could shower me a fire when he heard my voice. Masyado siyang naiirita sa'kin.
"Hey guys!" Neejan said.
He sat beside the girl who is beside Chave, Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay. Oh, Neejan shut the hell up! Don't be ridiculous. Pabalik-balik ang tingin niya sa amin ni Magen.
Magen also noticed it so he seriously swallow the vodka. I had played my finger while watching his throat movement.
Neejan stood up and sat beside me "Hon.. Are you still mad?" he asked while touching my hands.
I rolled my eyes, Inis ko siyang tinitigan. Gan'yan 'yan lagi! Napakawalanghiya!
I stood up, tumabi ako sa kabilang pwesto ni Magen. His eyes were so judgmental that I shook my head immediately. Oh, I hope you could not be victimized by Neejan!
"He's my cousin," I explained and smiled awkwardly.
Tiningnan ko si Neejan na suminghap at tinapik ang balikat ni Magen.
"Goodluck, Bro. Seryoso 'yang pinsan ko. Nagpaliwanag e," Neejan shrugged and walked away.
I lifted my head to see Magen that the brow was taking me seriously. I can't help but praise him because of his handsome face! Nanaginip ba ako?
He sighed "H'wag kang tumingin sa akin naiirita ako," He complained.
My lips parted, Miski ang dumaan na nakarinig sa kaniya ay nagulat sa sinabi niya. I felt like my cheeks turned into a color red because of what he had said. What was his problem?
Gusto ko man na umapila at ipagtanggol ang sarili ko ay hindi ko nagawa. I just nodded and stopped staring at him. I could feel a glowing tear in my eyes. There was a centralized aircon but I felt so much heat because of sweat on my forehead.
I crossed my arm and legs, I took a deep breath. Pinanood ko na lang ang ibang bisita na dumadaan at ngumiti sa akin. I can't return their smile.
"Couz, Let's have fun. Ayaw naman ata sa'yo ni Magen," He looked at Magen but I didn't "Hanapan kita ng iba na ibubugaw sa'yo," ngumisi siya at tumayo "Magen have a brother.. Nandito ba si Mint?" tanong niya kay Magen.
I didn't looked at him, I remained silence. May kapatid siya? Ilang taon naman kaya? Is he good looking too? Like his brother?
"Oh! Sayang naman kung wala siya dito! Ayaw mo ba talaga sa pinsan ko, Bro?" Chave asked.
He got my attention, I immediately looked up to Magen that the brow was now elevated to me. I avoid his gaze and crossed my fingers. Please. Say you like me!
I heard Magen chuckled "Sorry, Alam mo naman na I'm not in to a flirty woman," pranka na sabi niya.
I bit my lower lips, I can't help it! Alright, You didn't like me! Then fine.. Bahala ka sa buhay mo. I stood up. I felt like my chest punched by the truth. Maybe he's drunk, right?
I even heard my cousin calling me. I ignored him. I walked to the guest room.
"Babe, My friend is there. Your cousins are in the end" the guy said when I about to open the door.
He pointed the other door. I nodded and gave him a small smile. He even winked, I pouted. I didn't know him but yeah he looked familiar.
"Thank you," I said before leaving him.
He nodded "Just for you.." and then he winked again.
I awkwardly smiled and continue walking.
"Oh? Anong nagyari sa'yo? Bakit parang pinagsakluban ka ng langit at lupa? Are you alright Heart?" Hailey said when I sat on the bed.
Lami is busy at her phone, Sele and Denver are busy playing snake and ladder. Hailey is beside me and curious on what happened.
I sniffed "I like this guy.." I demostrate "But he always slapping me the truth that he didn't like me!yes.. I understand but can he treat me like I have a feelings too?" I annoyed said. "He's handsome! He's attractive! Hailey, Oh my ghad, He really is!" I giggled.
Hailey's lips parted "Hey.." she slapped my arm "Umayos ka para kang ewan. Anong sinabi mo? May gusto kang lalaki na? I mean talaga ba?!" Masigla niyang tanong.
I nodded, As though we saw a box of wealth in delight! I even jumped. Yes maybe he just got drunk? Oh it's fine.
"So how's he looks like?" Sele asked before roll the die.
I bit my lower lips and giggled "His eyes are so deep to the point like I'm drowning. His lips looks like a flower! His nose is so fucking pointed! His jaw shouting the truth that he's so damn lucky! Guys! I think i'm truly in love! Oh my ghad!" I covered my face using my palms.
Narinig ko ang tawanan nila, I pouted. Pinaypayan ko ang sarili para pakalmahin. I grabbed my chest because I felt shook. I inhale and I exhale to have my own loosed heart. Nakakabaliw siya! Kahit na masasakit na salita ang sinabi niya.
Denver laughed "Gusto mo.. gusto ka ba?" He teased.
My smile immediately disappear. Natahimik ako dahilan ng pag-angat ng tingin nila sa akin. I glare at Denver who suddenly chuckled like he already know the answer.
"You looks hot with your dress, Heart. Maganda ka kahit hindi ka masyadong nakamake up. Kaya paano ka hindi magugustuhan no'n?" Lami asked.
His words returned to my memory. He doesn't like me?
I swallowed hard "Ang sinabi niya he's not into a flirty woman like ME.." pinagdiinan ko ang huling salita while pointing myself.
Denver shook his head and smiled. Lami looked shock on what I said. Sele brows furrowed and Hailey's lips parted. Yeah.. He really said that.
"You're not a flirt.." Lami said.
Napamasahe ako sa batok "Yeah, I know. I already told him but he said like I acted and dress like I am," I shrugged.
I looked at Sele who suddenly nodded. What? Is she also telling me like i'm a flirt? I'm not!
"What did you do then?" Sele asked while sliding down the snake.
I grabbed my hair and slapped my face "I just hold his hand because I can't help it! I also hugged him just for a minutes because he smell so good!" I answered.
Narinig ko ang biglaan nilang pagsinghap. They shook their head and chuckled. What?
"Now I know," Lami laughed.
I looked at her who returning the attention to the beeping phone. Sele and Denver laughed at me a while Hailey were stroking my back.
"Hayaan mo na," she said "By the way, Dito kami matutulog sa guest room. Si Lami, Sele at ako while Denver and Neejan are going home." she inform me.
I nodded, How about Chave? Oh.. Masyadong malayo ang bahay namin kung uuwi pa ako. I think I can sleep in his unit?
"How about Chave?" I asked.
Hailey sniffed "Hindi ko alam pero baka uuwi or hindi," She shrugged "Ask mo na lang siya bakit uuwi ka na agad?"
I would have wanted to go home because I felt overwhelmed. I don't have time to have fun! I stare at the white ceiling, I heard Hailey sighed reason why I looked at her.
"Kung gusto mo ay umuwi ka na. Magpaalam ka na lang kay Lonch and thank him ha!" Hailey said and walked towards Sele and Denver.
Napatunganga pa ako. Ilang minuto pa ang tinagal ko habang pinagmamasdan ang ceiling. I stood up and played my hair.
"I'm going to go home there in Chave's unit. I'm not drunk. I can go home alone." I said.
They nodded and stood up to hugged me. I pouted, Kailan na naman kaya ulit kami magkikita-kita?
"Hahanapan kita ng lalaki na matino," Denver said and hugged me.
I rolled my eyes reason why he chuckled. They even told me something more. I was just like being careful about driving. I nodded before going out of the guest room. Hinanap agad ng mga mata ko si Chave.
I got off the stairs, there were a few more that were waving to me. I just smiled at them.
"Chave! I'm going to stay in your unit. Can I? and can you please not to go home?" I demand.
I was a look at what he was talking to Lonch and didn't notice Magen. That was beside him reason why I was stepped backward.
Magen raised his brows when he noticed what I did. Oo na, Hindi mo na kailangan na ipahiya pa ako sa pinsan ko at sa boyfriend ng pinsan ko. May araw ka rin sa akin.
I won't be stopped for liking you!
Chave chuckled "Ikaw pa may gana na mag-utos sa akin na 'wag umuwi. Bakit hindi ka umuwi sa bahay n'yo?"
I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hair, I pulled it down!
"Just don't go home, I don't want to go home!" Tukoy ko sa bahay namin. "My dad will just say I should work or whatever.." I flipped my hair.
I crossed my arm and raised my brows at my cousin. I can felt the intense gaze of Magen in my peripheral view. I looked at Lonch, He just looking at me like he has been accustomed to my attitude.
Chave's brows furrowed "Why don't you work? Diba gusto mo magkapera then work, Heart," he said.
Naiirita na ako, Masyado na malayo ang pinatutunguhan ng pag-uusap namin. Ang gusto ko ay umuwi sa unit niya. That's all.
"Look.. Chave, Yes I want money but I don't want work. So just sleep here at Lonch house then can I borrow your car? You know I like your sedan. It smell so good," I sniffed "Ano? Papalag ka?"
Ngumiwi siya "Sumabay ka na lang kay Magen. Magkatabi lang kami ng unit," he said and looked at Magen, I frozed "Magen, Bro. Isabay mo na 'yung pinsan ko,"
Sabay? Baka bugahan niya lang ako ng apoy! He hate me! He doen't like me! What if he sue me? What if he left me in the road? What if he throw me at the river? Oh my ghad!
"Chave, It's fine. I can drive and he's drunk," Apila ko.
I grabbed my cousin's arm, I gave him a puppy eyes and pouted. He chuckled bago hawiin ang pagkakahawak ko sa kaniya. Tiningnan niya ako na para bang nandidiri siya sa ginawa ko.
"No, I'm not." Magen interrupt using his husky voice, "Let's go.." he command before turning his back.
I swallowed hard, I felt like there's something on my throat! He said what?
