Loving Little Miss Bloodsucker Chapter 25

Two days passed after what happened, and I think that misunderstanding just got worse. The very next day after that night, I thought everything would be fine once I said I'm sorry, so I waited for him to come outside of his room, and as soon as I saw him walking down the kitchen, I was about to hug him from behind, but he just swiftly moved to the other side of the kitchen as he finished making his coffee and went inside his room again. That day, I didn't see him outside unless he wanted some snacks to eat. It feels like I'm invisible in front of him.

But just then, the day after, it was much worse. He completely didn't go outside, and I just saw some of the servants waiting outside his room to get him his food.

It's the third day now, and I'm still trying to understand him as much as I can, but I've got classes today, so I'll be out for half the day.

I prepared my clothes that I'll be wearing, and I just took a quick shower before I headed out of my room wearing only a bathrobe and nothing underneath. I forgot to prepare my coffee, so I'll just have it while I'm still not clothed now.

I was busy drying up my hair and didn't notice Cooper was already sitting on the high stool beside the counter. He's making his coffee now, and I bet he didn't sleep last night because he's wearing his glasses to cover up his puffy eyes.

"You got out," I said as a matter of fact, but I didn't receive any response from him.

So we're going to play silent treatment for the rest of the day again, huh?

I slightly slammed the refrigerator door to let him know I was getting pissed at his behavior. I saw from my peripheral view how he paused for a moment and took a glance at what I was doing, but he just ignored it again and took a sip from his cup.

He's such an ass.

I was just about to explode because of my anger when he suddenly spoke.

"Don't smash things around," he said as soon as he stood up and walked out of the kitchen.

I scoffed. I couldn't handle this anymore.

I followed him to the hallway, and he was just about to open his door when I yelled at him.

"I'll smash things if I want to, or even pull a dangerous stunt if that's the only thing that will make you talk to me, you jerk!"

I'm still not finished with it, and I even kicked the nearest vase that I could reach. It created a loud bang, and next to it was the scattering sound of its pieces.

He paused for a second and looked at me.

"Are you done?" He asked, and that made me even more mad.

I rolled my eyes at him and walked out of there. I went to my room and smashed the door to let him hear that I was so furious now.

I wore the clothes that I picked for today and just went out to attend my class. I didn't even bother to get the coffee I prepared for myself and just told the driver to get me to the nearest coffee shop with a drive-through.

I don't know what's gotten into that man, and I don't even want to know anything about it. Maybe I should ask Rylie if I can stay in her apartment for the meantime since I'm too suffocated in that penthouse.

I'm even more annoyed now that I realize Luke did what he did before back in the mansion. He doubled the shot again. I'm more like a normal human now, and I can't do anything about it. I'll just wait another month to let it wear off my system.

I attended my first class with heavy baggage in my heart because of a sudden realization, and I can't help but regret what I did. I just made it even worse, and now how am I supposed to talk to him?

Well, I still have four classes to attend for the rest of the day, and my dismissal is around 9 o'clock in the evening, so I'll just have to shrug it off for now.

All of my classes went smoothly today, and I even had a minor class with Maureen. We sat next to each other, and she even waited for me to finish my last subject.

We were already walking in the hallway when I noticed her necklace. I just smiled about it and didn't even bother to bring it up. I'll just be happy about it, I guess.

"Are you sure you'll be fine here?" Maureen asked in her usual calm voice when I told her to walk first down the street.

"My driver will pick me up anyway, so I'll be okay," I assured her, even though she's still not convinced about it.

She was already walking away from me when I sensed someone watching me from afar. I know that someone has been watching us since the moment we got out of my last class.

"Just come out," I said coldly.

In just one instance, three creatures came out meters away from me. I don't know what they're up to, but it seems like they've been waiting for this time to come.

"Look what we have here," said the voice of a familiar man.

It's Argus.

"What do you want now?" I asked nonchalantly.

"Where's your night in shining armor, huh?" He dares to tease me with that question.

I scoffed.

"If you're looking for him, then go directly to him," I said as I stepped forward to face him.

I can see a ghost of anger in his eyes, covered with a playful look. He moved closer to me and looked at me from head to toe.

"They told me you're too strong; that's why your parents tone you down," he said.

My lip parted a bit as I heard what he said. How did he even know about that? Luke would never talk about that, as it is forbidden to talk about it.

"How about I push you to your limits now?" Argus said as he swiftly moved his arms.

He's about to grab me by my neck, but then my moves are much quicker than his. I immediately duck and move away by jumping from the ground up to the third floor of the nearest stairs for the fire exit on one of the buildings along this street. I can see from below that he's smiling playfully after what I did.

He's ready to follow me up, but a loud horn from a car stopped him from doing it. Instead, he and his other two friends started to run as fast as they could.

I was puzzled at what they did, but the moment I saw the man who just got out of the car, I eventually rolled my eyes.

It's him.

I get down again, and just as I landed on the ground, I already felt tired because of the energy I exerted a while ago. This is because of the fucking serum that Luke gave me. Next time, I'll keep an eye on him while he's giving me the shot.

Now, I'll just focus on this man who's walking towards me right now.

I had the hand sanitizer in hand because of the dirt I got, and I was just about to walk past him when he stopped me with his arm grabbing my waist.

"What do you want now?" I said coldly.

He remained silent for a moment, and I was just about to remove his arms when he finally spoke.

"You," he said with so much frustration in his voice.

"I want you."
