Daniel dived at the hand holding the gun just as another shot was fired, but it missed its mark as Daniel twisted Ben's hand and the shot was fired at the bed stand lamp instead, it shattered and debris of glasses fell across the floor.
Both Daniel and Ben fell on the bed with Daniel still holding Ben's hand and trying to take the gun from him while Ben struggled against him
Daniel was situated astride him and he brought up one knee and placed on Ben's windpipe, cutting the flow of air
Ben struggled to breathe and his grip on the gun weakened, Daniel ripped it off from his grip.
He tossed the gun away without letting Ben go, he turned him around so that he was lying on his stomach, and using a piece of cloth he saw on the bed, he tied Ben's hands to the back.
Daniel was not new to this kind of thing so his movement was swift and precise as he tied Ben's hands and feet firmly
"Help us, help my Aunt, she is losing a lot of blood" Bella cried and Daniel brought out his phone
"I need an ambulance and police..." He said into the receiver, "I'll make sure that you rot in jail" Daniel promised as he glared at Ben after his call
"Hold on Aunt, the ambulance will soon be here" Bella promised with tears streaming down her cheeks
"Please forgive me, my child...I am sorry" Aunt Christy said weakly
"No, do not talk right now, you need to conserve your energy" Bella cried while holding onto her aunt's hands
Soon, the police and ambulance arrived and Ben was taken by the police while the paramedics were attending to her Aunt.
"I will not go to jail, never" Ben screamed and grabbed the gun from the belt of one of the policemen, and immediately, other policemen pointed their guns at him
"Drop your weapon" they commanded but Ben was in no mood to listen to any of their warnings
"I won't go to jail" he screamed and raised his gun but instead of pointing it at any of the policemen, he aimed it at his head
"Ben, what are you doing?" Bella was aghast at what Ben was about to do and wanted to run towards him but she was held back by Daniel
"I'd rather die than go to jail and I do not regret everything that I have done," he said and closed his eyes and then fired the gun.
Ben's limp body fell on the floor, lifeless and Bella was horrified, how could he just take his life like that? From the corner of her eyes, she sighted her aunt's unconscious body being taken into the ambulance and she rushed toward her
"I'm going with her" She entered into the ambulance with her Aunt while holding her hands.

Bella's Aunt was getting better and soon she will be going back to the Countryside. Bella still could not believe that her aunt was her real mother which meant Jesse was her half-brother. Bella wished her aunt would stay with her but she had insisted on going back home.
After class, Bella would go to the hospital to pick her up because she would be getting discharged that day and she would leave for home the next day.
Bella rushed out of class immediately after her class was over, prepared to go and pick up her aunt, she just come out of the class when a hand suddenly grabbed her to the corner of the building, "Jeremy" she whispered
In all that was going on with her, she had forgotten about Jeremy and his request
"Where is my money?" He snarled
"I...I... I'm sorry, I totally forgot about it..."
He clenched her jaw with his hand, "what did you just say? You forgot? You're joking with me right?"
Bella angrily pushed him off, "No Jeremy Campbell, I know what you are capable of and I promised to get you your money okay, I'll give it to you tomorrow"
"This is your last chance, if I don't get it tomorrow, I'm doing what I told you that I'll do" he replied, and holding Bella's hands stiffly to her side, he placed a kiss on her lips.
Bella struggled to push him off but he held her stiffly and she bit his lips but instead of yelping, he laughed, "I've been wanting to do that for a while now, you are sweeter than ever, soon, it's not just money that I'll want, I'll want you too"
With that, he sauntered off and left her standing there and looking miserable.

Joana had sighted Jeremy as soon as he entered the college and watched as he carefully stayed in one of the blocks where he would not be seen, so she had her camera ready, today she would get the evidence that she wanted.

he would definitely throw Bella out of the house and she would be right next to him, encouraging him and acting sympathetic, then, after Bella was gone, she would make him to love her and eventually make her his wife and she would never let him go ever.
Her parents would never lack afterwards, having Nikolai Klaus as their son-in-law would surely boost their lives.
Joana could already imagine that kind of life that comes with being Nikolai Klaus'wife, the splendor, the power. She regretted not marrying him in the first place, if only she had known that he was the mysterious Nikolai Klaus.
