Daniel frowned at the message in his phone, it was a debit alert that showed someone had made a withdrawal from his account.
When Bella's aunt was going back, she had requested money from him and he figured that she wanted to help her aunt with some things so he gave her his credit card, and to his surprise, he got a message that she had withdrawn up to a million dollars but he thought nothing about it, after all, he has the money. Anything to make her happy but now he started to think that there is something up with his wife because this was the second time he had received a debit alert from his card in just a week, not counting the million dollars she withdrew before.
If he were to count that one, it would mean she had withdrawn three million dollars in one week.
He was hoping that she had gone shopping with it but even her wardrobe hadn't changed, is she in some kind of problem? He will talk to her when he gets home and remind her that she can confide in him.

He took her to a nice resort where they had lunch together and then, he took her to a video game stand where they both played games, she even won herself a big teddy bear, she felt happy and for a moment she forgot all of her worries, she forgot about Jeremy and concentrated on this moment with Daniel.

Daniel made no attempt to refute, he had made up his mind not to pursue the topic with her since it bothers her so much but that does not mean that he will not find out who was and while she went so pale at the mention of his name.
