The next morning, Leo went back home, after covering Tangy well, he didn't want to wake her up, for he doesn't really want her to run off into the woods again, but he needed to get home, for if they do not see him, they might start to suspect, that he had met with Tangy.
When he got to his house, he found lots of pack members at his house. Apparently, Medline had announced and declared him missing, but when they saw him walking back, looking all tired, some of them started walking away, but when he saw Tangy's father, he knew he was in for some questioning.
"Where are you coming from? He asked her, which was quite annoying to Leo.
"I don't think I owe you an explanation as to how I live my life. You are not my father, neither are you my uncle. We are not related in anyway, so why ask a grown up adult, like me, where I am coming from?
That was very true, but even Medline, have been told that it is likely, he went to see Tangy. Before her, she have heard that Tangy was the woman in his life, and she have always thought that, it is because of her, that she have never had peace in his home and she never enjoyed her union with Leo.
She watch him converse angrily with the father of the woman he was still clearly inlove with, and though she isn't supposed to speak Infront of the elderly man, she had to chip in something.
"If you feel you don't owe him an explanation for your whereabout, at least you owe me an explanation.
We were here together, then you heard a whistle, and that was when you started acting strange, you told me you wanted to take a walk, that you were feeling pain in your legs, and since last night, this is you coming back, so can you take your time and explain to me, where you are coming from? Leo stared into her eyes, and could tell that she was hurt, but she was trying to hide it.
"I don't know what happened to me, but I slept in the woods". He says, and was about to walk in, when she blocked him, pushing him back.
"You must really think I am so dumb, to believe just anything you say.
You went to her didn't you? She was the one that whistled, that was how she used to call you out, and she was the one you went to meet right?
I am going to the palace to report you, and maybe, they could behead you instead of her. Are you trying to kill us all by getting involved with a murderer like Tangy? She asked, Admist tears, while Tangy's father, stared at her with anger.
When he heard that Leo was missing, he suspected that Tangy had contacted him, but now, with all the drama unfolding Infront of him, he knows that she had really contacted him, and she must still be around. He needed to protect his daughter and get to her, before anyone else does. She must be afraid of him, for what she had some, but she is his daughter, and she should have come to him, for he will never allow anything happen to her.
The palace guard and every one also knows that, which was why, the moment she went missing, they came to his house, to look for her, but after searching his house, turning it upside down with the sorcerer Sodom, they discovered that she wasn't there, but now, he has a chance to help her stay safe.
Medline angrily walked away. No one knows if she is about to go to the palace to inform them of her thought or she was threatening them, but they couldn't take chances, so as soon as she was out of sight, he approached Leo again.
"Please Leo, I know we have not been best of pals, and I never supported you to be with Tangy, but I guess now, I have another chance to make things right. If you have seen my daughter, you have to tell me, please I beg you.
You know you cannot keep her safe, they will discover where she is, and they will come for her, you have to tell me". Leo watch him sternly, then he remembers Tangy's fear, she would be disappointed if he told anyone about her.
"Since she didn't come to you, then she didn't want to see you. I also don't know where she is. Yes she called me out in the woods last night, and I slept in the woods close to her, but this morning, she was no where to be found, before I started coming home". He lied. It sounded so true, that he believes him, and begged him that, he shouldn't hesitate to call on him, if he sees her, and he promised to do so.
As soon as he left on his carriage with his guards, the palace guards walked into the compound along with Medline, and they took Leo away.
Leo was locked up in the palace dungeon, and he was charged as an accomplice to the crime committed against Blair.
When Jayden saw him, he remembered his face at that instant.
"I have seen you before, you were here at the star gathering, and you stared at me like you were going to fight me, I didn't know you were her lover before now. So to please her, you planned with her to kill Blair right?
"Why would I do that? I wanted her for myself, but she wants you, so why will I kill Blair, so that she could have a reason to be with you? His defense made sense, but Jayden was clouded by anger.
"You have a wife, and you left her to be with Tangy? Now that you have had your time with her, give her up, so that we could cut her head off, I promise you, I will make sure she is not buried, and she is won't be cremated, but you can live happily ever after with her head".
"If you kill her, then you stay with the witch, what then have you gained?
Have you ever paused to think for one second that she didn't do that alone?
So you know if she was under the influence of a higher power? Like a witch's power?
"I see, you really met with Tangy. I am going to send a search party round your house and everywhere that concerns you. They will not stop searching, till they find her. I will do you the honor, of watching her beheaded. I am not so wicked, I will also make sure you have her head, to go home with".
Jayden sent the guards to search everywhere, that concerns Leo.
No one thought of his grand mother's house, for most people already know that he doesn't have a good relationship with her, and it many knew she was not around, After two days of intensive search, with no luck, to Leo's surprise, he was released from the dungeon.
