He kept his own part of the promise, he took them to an abandoned building. though the ride there was quite long, after they had collected what was left of their burnt house. They will start their life afresh in a new place, far from Atlantica.
Blair was almost dozing off, when she was tapped on the shoulder by the doctor.
"We are here already". She smiles at the man, who have not stopped smiling since the miracle happened with his daughter.
She got down, holding her mother, while they waited for him to direct them.
"We would have loved to stay back at Atlantica, but with the new realization of things, staying there would be too much trouble for us, we need to move on in another place".
"That is exactly the truth. Staying back there, will raise too many dust, but I am glad, you are still close by. There are wonderful people here, that you can meet, and they will make you really happy.
I can introduce you to a few persons". She exchanged glances with her mother, and she didn't think they should rush anything.
They thanked the doctor, and after he was sure they had settled on well, he bade them bye, and left with the driver.
He needed to spend time with his daughter.
Blair was moving round the house, when she set eyes on the only box that was saved from their house.
"We don't have anything mother, we are going to really start again". She kept staring at the box, for it was too little, which means that all her mother's wear, were destroyed in the fire.
"Doctor Laswell, says we could use the clothes here, as no one is using them, and no one will use them.
"This is a lovely house, and I think it is peaceful ". She added.
She decided to just go through the box and see what was saved, but she was shocked, that the box was empty, and the only thing in the big box is the feather, that was given to her by Jayden.
She quickly hid it, as she wouldn't want her mother to see it.
She kept looking at it, and she almost, became lost, but she disengaged from it, and closed it back.
"I am very tired, I am going to sleep". She heard her mother say, and without response, she heard her open a door, and shut it. She was already feeling at home.
She opened the box again, and placed the feather, close to the television stand.
It is an old television, and she doesn't know, if it is still good to be used, but she thought placing the feather there, would help her to see Jayden, and maybe why Jayden haven't ask for her yet, was because he didn't want to bother her.
She had her eyes fixated on the feather, wondering just what would happen again, if she looks at the feather too much, but funny enough, nothing happened, it remained that way. She soon decided to sleep too, as soon as she closed her eyes, she was transported into a different place.
She sees herself opening the door to the new house, and going outside, as if she was being controlled. By the time she got outside, she saw Jayden, he was looking so handsome.
"Why are you keeping me waiting my love, why haven't you visited me again? He asked.
"I am sorry, but I am scared, I don't know how to do it, a lot is happening already just give me a little more time".
"Don't worry, if you don't want to come back, you can stay, I think this is goodbye for us. Maybe in a different world, we will be together, but in this world, just let us stay in our different world".
Even though she is dreaming, which doesn't look like a dream, she couldn't believe that it is Jayden that is speaking.
"I see you have started falling for your Witch bride or your wolf bride, which one is it that have captured your heart so much, that you are suggesting that we stay in our different worlds?
"I am sorry Blair, but I don't love you anymore, I love someone else now, someone that believes in the same thing that I believe in, someone that will help me rule my kingdom and bring all my people, that your people destroyed, together.
There is a reason I was born, this way. I am here to fix the problem, and since we don't share the same believe, it would be better I take the first step". Blair was shocked at what he was saying, but she wasn't too surprised, she had thought of it too, with the sort of sexual drive he was having, he won't be able to wait for her, to make up her mind.
"So that's it huh. Six years of relationship going down just like that? She asked, as she allowed her tears to drop. She actually couldn't believe that he was breaking up with her.
"This is a new town, a new place. you can build your life around here. I have given you a great gift that you cannot find else where, a new blood type. You can heal yourself and anyone around you.
You can be the wealthiest woman the world have ever seen, just because of your blood, take that, as my fair well package for you. Make sure you move on, that is what will make me feel happy". Bye Blair. Before she could say any other thing, he disappeared, and she woke up in a sweat.
She was panting profusely, when she looked around the house again, then at the feather, still nothing was coming out of it.
So this is how he broke up with her, she was thinking, but deep within her, she didn't want to believe it. Since she only dreamt it, it is possible that it was just her imagination, she decided to get the feather and hold it, to know if something could happen, but she was distracted by a knock on the door. She was going to come back to the feather, she went to answer the door, and she found a handsome man, standing by the door, with a tray full of different kind of snacks.
"Welcome to the neighborhood. My name is Adman, and I live few blocks way from here". He pointed at a building, which she could have swore, wasn't there before. She didn't know, if she should welcome him in, but since he was trying to be friendly, she had to allow him in. She collected the snacks from him and placed it on the table.
"Thank you for this, I almost thought we will be alone here, but now, knowing that there is a neighbor close to us, we can relax. Do you have families? She asked, and he rolled his eyes.
"I know you will ask, I don't know why people keep asking me about my family. Do I look too young or too old? She smiles at his sense of humor, but she didn't mean any ill by asking.
"No, actually you look quite young, I was just wondering, why only you, will be here on this lonely place".
"Well the issue with my family, is a long story, and we will talk about it some other time, for now, I will just talk about you.
