The meeting started off real well with music and dancing of the junior pack members, and those that just shape change for the first time. They were having so much fun, as they kept dancing, trying out their new abilities with each other.
Blair was in the bathroom with Jayden, they were taking their bath, in preparation to join others.
"I will like you to sit with Tangy or Astra, I want to be on my own today please". Jayden stared at her, he couldn't believe that she is the one suggesting to be alone.
He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out. He just had to ask with a soft voice.
"Did I do something wrong? He asked her, and she shook her head to say no.
"You didn't do anything wrong my love, as a matter of fact, you have been doing everything right, and this is really hard for me, but I just want to put myself in their shoes, even if it is only for today. Especially Tangy, I want her to feel what it is like to be seen and attended to.
The people here, are her people, and it will be nice, if they see her smile and look happy". Jayden stared at her, trying to read her mind, to know if she is just being a woman, for women are fond of saying one thing, when they mean another, but she was plain, it was what she really want from him.
"Are you sure this is what you want? He had to ask again, and she nodded her head.
"Please just do it for me. I don't know how you want to do it, but just shock them, let them wonder what is wrong with us, let them think we are not on good terms, let them just be yours today, in the night, I will get you back, besides, pray that the day moves real fast, because I have something to show you". She winks at him, giving him attitude that something big is cooking for him. He smiles and nodded. Since that is what her heart wants, then she will be given the help. She will get what she wants, and he will do exactly what she have asked.
After he was done bathing, he waited for her, she had her bath too, and dressed up, but she didn't walk out with him.
"You look so beautiful my love, how do you really expect me to stay without you today? He asked, but she eyed him instead.
"We have already agreed, so don't even start by asking me more questions".
"Alright I hear you, so give me your hand let me walk you out". She shook her head and says.
"Our plan, starts from here, you will walk out alone, and I will walk out alone too".
"What! He jerked. No way. You are my Queen, I will walk you to where you will seat".
"I already have plans about where I want to seat, so please just go. You have my heart, so if I need help, I will call you". He stares at her, and she winked at him, to tell him that everything was okay.
"Alright then, but just know that I won't be comfortable, knowing that you are not with me". He walks away, and she sat down back on the bed.
She knows that he is right, she isn't sure if she is doing the right thing, but that is what she feels like doing. She is going to sit close to Queen Marinara, she wants to get to know her, and other people in the town". After a long while, she walked out. She have mastered her way, she couldn't get lost anymore, she met a few wolves on her way, they were guarding the palace, they saw her, and only made way for her to get through, some of the maidens, were wondering why she was walking alone. Since she came to the palace, it must be the first time, she had walked out alone. She was always with Jayden, but seeing her alone, scares them the more.
She also walks with so much authority and valour, like she isn't just a human. she got to the hall, where she met loads of people, and loads of wolves, but then, she saw where the king and the Queen sat, her seat was there, she quickly started walking towards the podium, but she was stopped by a werewolf, she could swear that he was the most handsome. His eyes were crystal, and when he raised a brow, it turns blue.
"Are you new? He asked her, with a very sweet voice, but she smiles and nodded. She could tell that he doesn't know her, and she wouldn't want Jayden to see her talking. with anyone, but the guy she is yet to get his name, didn't stop there, he followed her.
"I think you are the most beautiful werewoman I have seen around here, but how come I am just seeing you for the first time, I am Stan, I am a model, and lots of girls would be so happy to have me talk to them, but among all the people I see here, you are the most beautiful". She continued walking, ignoring him totally. Jayden have seen her, and he had already started looking like he would kill him, if he comes close, but then, since she knows that Jayden could read her mind, she decided to speak to him.
"Jayden, please, stick to the plan and leave me alone for now! Jayden heard him, as he immediately looked away.
"Why are you moving to the throne area, that place is for the king and Queen with his families". She smiles at him and then still ignoring him, she git up to the thrown, bowed her head, then went away to sit where Tangy used to sit, since she wasn't there yet. Queen Marinara was shocked that she didn't take her usual spot close to Jayden, but she didn't say a word, she was going to just watch and see what is going to happen when Tangy comes, but then to her surprise, when Tangy came, she was surprised, she wanted to know why her seat was taken by Blair, she saw another seat, beside Blair, but she which she wanted to take, when Jayden stopped her, by holding her hands.
"Please sit with me". Tangy couldn't believe it, she stared at Blair, but she didn't even look back at her, she just focused on the party. Astra walked out later, and sat on the seat beside Blair, and once again, she didn't act like she saw him, she just looked away. placing all her focus on those dancing.
