Her full concentration was on those dancing, she didn't even try to share it, by thinking of one thing and focusing on another, she was really enjoying what they were doing. For the first time, she doesn't look so scared, of the way they shape change, she just saw it as an art performance.
Tangy was happy that she could sit with Jayden, without Blair interfering.
She was in smile all through, She kept looking around for her twin, she wanted them to see that she could actually have Jayden to herself. Then she sighted her father walking into the hall, she was happy to see him, for she didn't have to be so worried that, he will think she isn't happy.
He had told her that they could damn the goddess and get her another mate, that would be faithful to her, but she doesn't want the pack to talk about her all through the season. She is a quiet and easy going person, if such a news goes off about her, they will really gossip, and that would be bad for her father's reputation.
"That is my father over there". She tells Jayden, who was yet to meet her father, even though he had known her for a few weeks now, he hadn't bothered to know about her parents, or even about her.
"Really, that is good, I think we should meet him half way, that is a way to show respect". Tangy couldn't believe her ears, she was so very happy. Jayden held her by the hand and walked through the crowd dancing and shape changing, to meet the man half way.
"Hello son, I am glad to finally meet you, I have waited so much for this star gathering, to meet you". He says, expressing as much happiness as Tangy.
"You are a family member, you shouldn't wait till any gathering to see me. If you wanted to know whom your daughter had been with for the past few weeks, all you needed to do, was coke to the palace and demand to see me". They both laugh as they shook hands.
"I am Stanford, and you are Jayden. Now I know why my daughter wouldn't listen about leaving you, I see why she likes you, you have a great sense of humor". Jayden nodded with a smile. He was just trying to do Blair bid. He looked back to see if she was feeling jealous in anyway, but she was in smile, even applauding.
"Walk with me Son". He says, as Tangy knew what that means for her, she turned back to her seat. Before she sat down, she stared at Blair, but she didn't even act like she saw her, it was Astra that was staring at her, like she had lied to her, about being as lonely as she is.
She suddenly felt so alone.
If Jayden is so close with Tangy and Blair, and they have come to an understanding that they are there to share, she is definitely the only one left, she felt used. She eyed Tangy, but the joy overwhelming Tangy, didn't make her see the anger in Astra.
Stanford and Jayden found themselves outside, where there was less noise, and a bit cozy part of the palace. Jayden didn't even know that such a place existed.
I know you don't love my daughter as much as you love the human, but it will mean a lot to her and to me, if you can just always make her this happy.
From the looks of things, you haven't been this close to her before, she looks so excited, and I know I killed her joy, when I asked you to walk with me, and asked her to go back to her seat". Jayden nodded his head, while listening to the man speak, when he was done, he clears his throat, and spoke only the truth.
"I don't know, but even the human likes Tangy. The truth is that, Blair, is the love of my life, and I don't know if I can ever love anyone, the way I love her. Even till death, I will still love her. I have tried to see if there is a way I can love her less, but I just can't, but Tangy. ( He paused, and looked back as if she was coming) She is a girl with a pure heart, I see that she is very happy today and I wish I can always make her that happy, but no woman will be happy, to know that she is sharing her man with other women. Maybe it would have been understandable if it was just a woman, but with two other women, no woman can be happy, which is why I would have loved for the gods and goddesses to help in this case".
"You are wise my son, but this is not our making, this is the choice of the moon goddess, but I also think that there is a reason for this choice, which is why, you need to work real hard, to balance everything amongst them". He didn't know if he could balance them, but he just had to nodd his head.
"Now let's go back, before they will start looking for you. The meeting today is for you, after now, the crowd, those you are supposed to rule and bring freedom to, will have questions for you, that is what the meeting is all about. They all want to see how you are able to respond like a true king. You see your father is an epitome of leadership. He knows his words, he has the charisma and even when he told the Queen that he loves so much, that he has a child by a witch, he wasn't so sober. If he ever pleaded with her, it would be where eyes cannot see. That is how you know a true leader. Rule no one. Never show weakness Infront of your subjects, they get scared, that you won't be able to handle them.
They also want to see how you handle the women, because women are the strongest of all the species, and they are more difficult to handle, than any other.

That was huge for Jayden. Stanford knew he had hit him hard, so he left him to ponder over all he just said.
