He stood transfixed upon seeing her, as if he hadn't seen her before, but then he realized, it must be because if what her father had said, so he clears his throat and was about to speak, when she took it from him.
"I saw my pa come back in alone, so I got worried, he could really be a handful, I hope he did not bother you". She says with a smile.
"No, he didn't bother me, actually, he was advising me, on his to do today. I never knew the Star gathering is like a party, I would have thought it was just a meeting if a few men". She laughed, but was careful to cover her mouth, as if she would be scolded, if see laughing.
Jayden didn't like it, when his woman is too submissive, but maybe that is a leader's thing, so he has to get used to seeing her so submissive. That was one of the reasons, he doesn't joke with Blair, she is like his best friend, she doesn't follow rules, when it comes to him, but then again, he wouldn't blame her. She doesn't know him, she isn't his friend, Blair is his friend, and it will take loads of coaching, to get Tangy to understand him.
"Care to share what he thought you? She asked, as if she read his mind. She was trying to be lively.
"He said that today is going to be more like the pack, getting to know me, to ascertain, if I can really be their leader, or they have made the wrong choice".
She laughed again, before reacting verbally, to what he said.
"Anyways, it is not that hard. No matter how you do today, they don't have a choice about you. They didn't choose you, the goddess have chosen you a long time ago, even before you were born, so you are just here to fulfill your destiny, and that is all".
"I know that with you around me, I will know what ti say, and when to answer". She felt so happy that he chose her to be the one to sit with him.
She wanted to ask whatever happened between them, but bringing Blair talk, when he is not talking about her, will be like she is trying to bring back something he wants to forget, so he allowed the sleeping dog lie.
"Let's play a game, if I feel you shouldn't answer a question and just say, we will know what to do when the time comes, I will pull your hand down, and when I think you should go ahead and give an answer to a question, I will just rest my head on your shoulder. What do you think? Jayden wasn't sure, but he just accepted, especially since her eyes glowed as she explained.
"Maybe we should go back inside, I can hear the announcement, let's go back". He didn't just leave her behind, he held her by the hand and walked her through the crowd. She was so happy, waving at everyone.
"The reason we are all here, has been brought back to his seat, by his Luna. please let us jam out hands together for them". The shape shifters changed shape instead of clapping, they kept hitting each other as if they were Fighting.
Fir the first time since Blair cane to the kingdom, she had less attention on herself, and it would have felt nice, but the attention Jayden and Tangy were getting, started to make her feel like she probably shouldn't have allowed Jayden be with her, but then again, she had to constantly remind herself that, Jayden would always know what to do, and she is the one that asked for it to be that way.

Now we are going to start the occasion, with the man of the day, opening speech'. Once again, the applauded went off.
Jayden didn't see that coming, he thought that someone would have told him that he would be doing all these. He stared at his father, but he looked away. It is on occasions like this, that he would have wanted Blair to be seated close to him, but she was far, though not too far away, he thought she would look at him, but she too looked away, as she continues to clap, they had to face the woman close to him, who seem very willing to answer him.
"How come no one told me I will be giving a speech? What am I supposed to say now? He asked her.
Tangy was willing to help.
"They expect you to be able to make an impromptu speech. Don't worry, you will do good". She squeezed his hands and that was enough for him to get up. He had seen how his father used to hold up his hand and command the people to be still, so he just got up and raises his hand and the cheering went down, and with the coolest voice, that sent all the maidens holding their heart, he started.
"Pack of Demini, I welcome you all to this year's Star gathering. I know has not been easy, to have someone like me here, with so much fear and worries, but I believe that, with today's gathering, after we eat and merry, we will know each other, and we won't have reasons to be scared of each other.
I will also like us to note that there will be a few changes around here. I like lively place, so we are going to start having great fun together, and when it comes to war, we will have the same war together. We are a family here, even the witch and the human have become our family, therefore, they will be initiated into the wolf family and they will become one with us. Which means, let us all feel free around them, as we will all work together, to achieve a better Demini, but......... (He paused and the floor went so quiet, that one could hear the heart beat of others) If anyone misbehaves, no matter your status, no matter who you are, you will be punished, and your punishment will be by Banishment from the pack, with no protection whatsoever.
The rules and regulations would be read to us all, so that, we can open today, as a new year.

The crowd went crazy, even his father got up, he never thought he would do it that way, it was done better than he would ha e done it himself. He didn't just get an applauded, he got a stand ovation, by the high chiefs, the king and Queen and even Blair finally looked at him, but this time, he looked away and focused on Tangy, and just then, he planted a kiss on her cheek.
Tangy could not believe it, she was elated.
