He was taken straight to the inn. King Arthur looked so scared, he followed them behind, while the captured ones, were sent to the palace dungeon.
Blair also followed behind. The attention was too much, that Jayden didn't seem to like the way they were staring at him, like he would die. It was when he noticed that Blair was also bleeding that he waited for her to get close.
"Are you okay? He asked, but she also had tears in her eyes, as she nodded her head to say that she is fine.
You are bleeding". He affirm, and she also nodded her head again, but she didn't want to speak. She was feeling bad for leaving him. If she had been with him and maybe gone in with him, she probably won't be looking at his wounded body.
You don't have to look so sad, I will heal". He tries encouraging her, but even he wasn't sure of what he just said, for his healing doesn't take so long.
"Then why are you not healing? She asked him, as he was helped to a bed, a d a physician was called in, to check on him.
"Don't worry, maybe it is taken long, but you will definitely be fine.
Arthur and Marinara stood transfixed wondering what just happened.
Few minutes later, it was discovered that their paws had poison, and the first person that attacked him, already knew he wouldn't win the fight, but made sure, he get his paws on his skin first.
"So how long will it take for him to get healed? His fatter asked.
"He would need a rare blood type, else, he will keep bleeding, till he won't be able to hold it anymore". The physician said.
That was too scary for Arthur.
"What sort of blood are you talking about? Arthur asked.
"A blood that will match perfectly with his, either the blood of his father, or that of his mother". The physician replied. Arthur immediately stretch out his hands, to show him that he was willing to try out for his blood, and even though the physician is sure that the blood of the father wouldn't work, he decided to just try, to fulfill all righteousness. He took his blood, got it tested, saw that it wasn't the sort of blood he was looking for, but because of the way Marinara was looking at him, he knew she needed him to try it first.
Blair became even more scared, that she held her bleeding nose, while her tears rolled.
When Jayden received the blood of his father, he became worse, he soon started looking like he was fading away, Blair was so angry, she dashes out of the room with Tangy, who also looked as sad as she is, they both walked down to the dungeon, where the captives were held.
"What did you do to him? Blair yelled, on top of her voice. Tangy howled, but she didn't want to scream, so she doesn't destroy them, since the king still needed them, but Astra, that was behind, wanted to show them that, she didn't have to stand outside the cell walls to interrogate them, she could get in and hurt them, she transported inside the cell, and with a cloning power, she fought them and injured them gravely.
"Who sent you? She demanded, but they didn't say anything. They seem to have taken an oath not to say a thing.
Astra kept hitting them, and was almost killing then, when Tangy stopped her.
"Stop it, you are going to kill them! But she didn't stop, until Tangy screamed, and even she got affected by her scream. She came back out and the three ladies walked out of the dungeon.
"I know Jayden doesn't want any of us there, he wants only Blair, maybe I should go and get my beauty bath now". Astra says.
"I don't care if he wants to see me, I want to see him, I am worried about him". Tangy says and walked past them.
"Blair is going to be there and even while he is sick, they will both keep feeding you with dog food. They will make you feel less important, and you will regret going there". She retorted.
They were talking about her, as if she wasn't even there. She didn't know whom to face. As they both took to the opposite direction. She stood there for aw hike, a d when she saw that she was alone, she went back to the prison, she wanted to talk to them again. She found them badly wounded, struggling to stay alive. Astra seem to have really wounded them. When they saw her coming back, in their different cell, they stopped groaning in pain, and tried to stay stable.
"What is the antidote to the poison? She asked calmly.
"I see you are the human, well, we will never tell". One of them answered.
"We already know what it is, but the Queen doesn't want the witch Mogana here, so is there something else that can be used? She was asking them, but unknown to her, Queen Marinara was coming to ask them the exact same question. She hid behind a wall, she wouldn't want anyone to see her.
How did she know she doesn't want Mogana at her Palace? She wondered. Though she knows that she wouldn't have any choice, if that is the only way to save Jayden, they might have to send for Mogana.
You know you are going to die, but if you can tell me what I need to know now, I might just let you go free". She was trying to sway them around, but that was so funny to them, for they just laughed at her.
"What can a human like you possibly do? One asked, while the other kept laughing.
She felt so embarrassed, she moved away. She would go and speak with the Queen, to allow them invite Mogana as soon as possible.
On her way out, before taking the turn to the Queen's chamber, she saw her walking in.
"What are you doing here? She asked Blair, acting like she was just walking in.
"I was coming to see you". She answered, looking straight into her eyes.
"Now you have found me, what do you want, a d what are you doing in the prison yard, don't you know you could get hurt?
She didn't think about that, but now that she mentioned it, she wouldn't try it again.
"I am sorry my Queen, but I was coming to tell you that, we need to bring Mogana here, as soon as possible".
"I know". She says, and walked out.
Blair is not sure if that was a yes, but she just assumed that she had agreed, so she went to find out from Arthur how to get Mogana here faster, but by the time she got to him, he was with Astra, sending her to inform Mogana, that her presence was needed.
