Astra had left, by the time she opened the door.
"Do we have to bring her here? Why don't we just ask Astra to bring her blood? Arthur stared at her, wondering just when his wife, became so insecure.
"This is my Son we are talking about, my only son, and you want me to gamble with his wellbeing, because of your fears?She stared long at her, shook his head and is about to walk out, but outside the door, Blair stood, watching them. Tangy was seated in bed close to Jayden. Arthur walked away, Marinara followed him, while Blair walked in, and sat on the other side of the bed, close to Jayden.
There was this tension between them, but it wasn't for each other, it was for Jayden.
Blair wanted to say something to ease the tension, but she didn't even know what to say first, she decided to just keep clearing her throat until Tangy got tired of her presence and walked out.
As if Jayden was waiting for her to just leave, before he would open his eyes.
He smiles at the sight of Blair, but he couldn't keep it open for too long, he closed his eyes again.
Blair was so worried for him. She went to his left ear and whispered to him.
"We will definitely find a way to get you back on your feet, I promise". He opened his eyes, after hearing her voice.
"I think I know who attacked me, and she won't kill me, but I won't say anything until I have gathered all my facts". Jayden says, with so much difficulty with opening his mouth, to speaking. Blair cared about the difficulty, and would have wanted to tell him not to say anything, but she needed to know what he was really talking about.
"What are you saying? She whispered, looked back and then forth to where Jayden lay.
"Don't worry my love, you can relax, I won't die, and I don't really need my mother's blood, it's just that, it will take a while to heal". Blair was glad for that truth, and she hugged him.
"I feel terrible about everything, it was all my fault, I shouldn't have left you at the hall way". She kissed him on the lip, with her tears, getting in the way.
"Yes you are right, it is your fault, if you hadn't left me there, I wouldn't have gotten myself hurt, at least I would have been in bed with you, having the time of my life". She didn't want to laugh, hit him or tickle him, for she knows, he is just trying to make her feel better, and think that all was well, but she isn't blind, she could see that he was really struggling.
"I am sorry". She responded, accepting that she is really to blame for what happened to him, and that was when Jayden realized that, he probably shouldn't have said that It did not give him the right reaction, so he had to add.
Common, don't beat yourself too much, I was just joking about that.
Sometimes, it is good for things to happen the way they did, so that you can know, just how fit you are and ready for the war. Blair didn't want him to try and make her feel better, so she decided to change the topic on her own. If she doesn't, with the way she was looking at him, she knows that he will keep beating himself up and forcing himself to say something, that would make her feel less guilty.
"I was just jealous, I didn't know what to think, or do. I thought you kissed Tangy, so I said I would punish you for it, but obviously that didn't help". She didn't want to look at him while she tells him what bothered her. She continued.
I know what you will say, that I was the one that told you to go, and now I am complaining, but you can't blame me can you? Knowing that you are the most wanted of all the men in this land, I have to guard you. I know you have killed Tangy before, so kissing her again, shouldn't be a problem for you, especially spending time with her in a secret place". She kept talking and talking, but didn't get the desires reaction. She knows him, he would have said something, or was he looking at her, like an insecure girl? She was worried about looking at his face, for she doesn't know what she would find there, but since his silence was begining to bother her, she had to look at him, and low and behold, he was looking all white and very sick.
His eyes wasn't even open, and definitely, he had not heard a word of what she had been saying. This is the time she calls her statement blabbing. She kissed him, and got into bed with him, she covered herself with the same duvet and with her lips on her side, she closed her eyes.
Tangy came back later, and saw them in such a position. That was what she had in mind, that she would come there and lay on the bed with him, but Blair had gotten to him first. She winced in anger, looking at how he too held her back. She thought of going to stay on the other side of the bed, so that they both share it, but then, she thought against it. She didn't want it to seem as though she was dragging, so she just walked away. She went to her room feeling all sober, but the thought of the kiss with Leo, would not leave her mind.
She was trying really hard not to think about him and how he had kissed her, to which she responded to the needs of his lips, but then, she couldn't hide for so long, she wants him too, as much as he wants her. She pictures his face smiling and licking his lips, but then another picture came to light, that of him with Medline, and their lovely kids.
Should she venture into such an affair? Won't she be making a big mistake? All these questions were wrapped up in her heart, she also had the answer to them, but she wouldn't pay hid, she just knew that she should leave, for her father, and her people, for the time being.
She lay on her bed, when she heard a wave like noise, it was the Queen, when she is angry, it feels like a wave, she rushed to her chamber, she wouldn't dare try to open, unless invited in, and even though she would have loved to know what was going on with her, with the licked door, she sensed the problem already.
They are both feeling the same thing in different ways.
Her man, the king of Demini kingdom, might still have a soft spot, for the mother of his son, while she is not sure of her feelings, but she knows that she is loving a man, who might probably, never love her.
The both of them, have insecurity issue, and she doesn't know how long it will take, or how long, they can hold on, if things get worse.
