On his way, Jayden encountered so many stumbling blocks, but he was lucky, to over come so many of them. As he walked past a dark path, even when the day was supposed to still be very bright, he could only think of Blair, and the way they had parted ways, with a teary hot kiss. He wish he could take her along, his fear for her kept Increasing, for it seem like he had just left her in the Lion's den, without any protective shield.
The path was so dark, that he had to look at the map, that Sodom had given to him.
Just to be sure, he was still on the right path, but even with the map at hand, he still could not see it clearly, for the skies, were too dark. When ever he looked forward, he would find a bright path ahead, but as he kept moving, he never got to the bright path, the entire place was still dark.
He wished he could transport to the place, but he had been told that, because of how sensitive the place is, no one could travel to the place in seconds, no matter how strong or powerful you are. Because of that, he had no choice than to keep walking. He finally got to the bright path, and breathed a sigh of relief. He looked around him, and everywhere looked dry, but just a mile from there, was a pool, that looked really inviting. He hadn't been feeling hot before, but just seeing the pool, he suddenly, started feeling hot, he hastened his steps, to get to the pool side, As soon as he approached it, the sort of fresh air,vthat embraced him, was enough to remove his cloth off his body.
"Wow, I really need a bath". He says to himself, especially since there was no one in the pool. The moment he undressed, what his has up, and is about to remove what is down, he heard a deep Baritone voice.
"You deserve to have a warm bath dear, go ahead, just jump into the pool and have a great bath". The voice sounded like that of his father. He paused for a while, and tried to think of his father, but then another voice spoke.
This time, it sounded a lot calmer.
"It is a trap to drown you my dear, do not accept, don't go into the pool. The pool is not even real". It was after the second voice that he looked around him, and realized that, all he should see in an environment like this, is a river, not a modern pool, how did he even plan to get into the pool in the first place. He grabbed his cloth from the floor, and walked around the shore, he was still looking into the pool, when a hand came out from the pool and grabbed his legs, but he was very quick to hit the hand, sending it back to wherever it cane from. He quickly moved away from the shore, and hastended his steps.
"Wise choice son". The calm voice came again, then it added.
You will meet a lot more like that on your way, but do not be distracted, and ensure, you do not loose focus, from the way you are overcoming all the obstacles, you might even get to where you are going, earlier than the expected time". Jayden liked the sound of that, he wish he could make his three month Journey, into a one month thing, he just cannot wait to be with Blair again.
"Who are you? Jayden decided to ask the calm voice.
"I am the inner spirit of your mother Mogana. I am her other side, she has allowed the bad side of her, take over, and that is why I have left her, and I am going with you to mountain Cave, I will always direct you right, and even though you cannot see me, you should be able to hear me, and when you hear me, you will know, the truth.
"How do I know you are leading me to the right path. Anything that has to do with my mother is no good".
"That is the part of her you are seeing, she is not that bad, but I know that soon she will realize what she is doing, and she will change for good, but pending that time, ensure you follow your instincts and your heart, they can never be wrong".
He nodded and instead of taking part of his time questioning her, he continued on the path, using the map, given to him by Sodom.
After a long walk, he was too tired, and as the day was beginning to give way to the night, he knew the time have come for him to rest his head, so he kept walking, hoping to find somewhere more comfy for him to rest.
He soon found a tree, with Golden Nugget around it, he likes the sight very much, and he, without a second thought, brought out his Blanket from his bag, spread it on the floor. Usually before sleeping, he surrounds his mind with the thought of Blair, but on this day, there wasn't even a time for him to think of all the beautiful moment they shared together. He was too tired from walking for so long, as soon as he rested his back, he just slept.
While in his sleep, he had a dream. He was back at the palace, everyone had already come back, all those that were turned to stone, have been brought back. The entire pack welcomed him back, and the little werewolves worshipped him, giving him different names of praise. They wouldn't even let him through, as some of them, wanted to lift him up, while others wanted to bless him with their clothes, so that he could use it as foot match.
Every one he saw looked happy, even Astra looked happy, but he noticed a few gloomy faces.
His father looked gloomy, while Marinara, still looked like one who just woke from a long sleep. His mother Mogana was also there, and she wasn't so happy, but then Tangy looked really sad, and she wore a guilty look, which he doesn't know what to make of it. He didn't really care about all of them, he was looking for Blair, she should be out by now, she should be happy to see him, but in the crowd, there was no one like her. He couldn't hold himself anymore, he had to force himself through, and then he went to his father Arthur.
"Where is Blair? He asked, without mincing words.
"I knew that is what you will ask me first, and I am sorry son, I failed to protect her, she is dead". Jayden screamed so loud, that every music of welcome and banned stopped instantly, and just then, he woke up in a sweat, looked around him, only to find out that it was almost dawn, he got up, wiped his face, and continued on his journey, but he could never shake the dream away. The thought that Blair could be hurt, was tearing his heart apart.
